We rented this apartment in Tenerife for five weeks over the summer and had a fantastic stay. From the very beginning, communication with the host was excellent, making the whole experience easy and reassuring. The apartment was exceptionally clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The bed linen and towels were replaced weekly, which was a lovely added touch and helped make our long stay even more comfortable. The location was also ideal, being around a 10-minute walk from the beach, with plenty of amenities nearby. The only thing that initially felt like a slight downside was the 2 per day charge for each sunbed and umbrella. However, this actually turned out to be a positive. Because the pool didn’t open until 10am, there was no opportunity for people to reserve sunbeds beforehand, meaning there were no dreaded early-morning sunbed wars! There was always a bed available when you wanted one, which made the pool area much more relaxed and enjoyable. The pool café/bar was another real highlight, offering a great place to grab a drink or something to eat without having to leave the pool.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our five-week stay. The apartment, location, facilities and excellent communication from the host all contributed to a really enjoyable holiday, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay

We have a had a lovely stay at Victoria Court 1. Apartment is spacious, kitchen is well equipped and it has a lovely balcony over looking the pool. Location is in walking distance of the many restaurants and bars. Points to note - there is a charge for sunbeds and umbrellas at €2 per bed/umbrella at the pool and the pool opening times, at time of our stay, were 10am to 5.45pm (winter) with summer times 10am to 6.45pm. The lifeguard leaves at this time and the gates are locked. George is a good host and replied quickly to our messages in a postive manner. walking dustance of

The place was in need of fresh decor, very grubby. The sofa was filthy, didn’t sit on it!!The beds were the worst I’ve ever slept on. The towels were so cheap they slipped off your body when trying to dry yourself. The bed linen & pillows had holes in them. Cockroach’s & ants everywhere!!Took my elderly parent who have mobility problems, the host told me there were roughly 30 stairs up to the apartment but conveniently forgot to mention 40 steep steps up to the first level. Very disappointing indeed, ruined my holiday tbh. If she had been honest I would have cancelled & lost my first payment.

Absolutely no surprise to receive this review. When you first booked and mentioned you were bringing elderly parents that would require a mobility scooter, I made you aware of exactly how many steps there were to the apartment and questioned whether it would be suitable for you. You chose to carry on with the booking and from then on you were problematic. On your arrival you immediately sent multiple emails asking where the fans were [you only had to look in the wardrobe] where the towels were [on each bed] etc, etc. The apartment has recently undergone a £20,000 refurbishment. With regards to the bed linen and pillows I checked the apartment two hours before your arrival and everything was in order. During your stay we were in the apartment next to you and as you left the front door open we clearly saw you all sat on the sofa and all enjoying yourselves. It was my husband that came out to assist you with the secondary door latch In your welcome pack it states that if you have any issues during your stay that you should approach the onsite services. I have spoken to them and at no point did they hear from you which if you had a problem with insects, I’m sure you would have done. They did mention however that the apartment was left quite dirty after your stay and in fact it took housekeeping four hours to clean including clearing up a broken glass. Your review is misguiding and is in stark contrast to previous ones

Nice apartment but with flaws

Nice apartment and as it says in the listing, 3 bedrooms. One bedroom has no natural light and it's en-suite bathroom has hardly any water pressure. Both bathrooms are well appointed though as is the well stocked kitchen but as much as money has been spent on those, hardly any has been spent on the bedrooms. The pillows were as flat and old as possibly could be, resulting in poor sleep. Bedding is clean but old and pillowcases need updating as do the pillows. Wardrobe doors were old and some didn't close properly and one bedroom didn't have any wardrobe at all, just a put up clothes rack.. But my biggest bug bear was the cost of 2 to hire a sunbed around the pool. As a family of 6 it would have cost us 72 extra for our 6 days there if we were to use the pool area to relax each day, as most people do do. I'm pretty sure the charge is a complex levy out of the hands of the host but annoying as it wasn't mentioned anywhere in the description. I always try to give an honest as an opinion as I can in these reviews and this is mine. As I said, a nice apartment but some care and updating needed.

Fantastic Apartment.

We stayed in this fantastic apartment for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. Our host George couldn’t have made us feel more welcome with excellent communication and instruction. The apartment was a great fit for our needs (6 adults). Beds, showers, lounge with smart TV, kitchen and balcony’s all great. The complex itself is well maintained with loads of sun-loungers available by the pool. The pool bar is great for drinks and food with friendly staff. The location couldn’t be better, with loads of bars and restaurants on the doorstep and the beach only 5 minutes walk. We have stayed in numerous accommodations in this area and this one is overall the best for location, complex facilities and of course the apartment itself. We would not hesitate in booking again and will be recommending to friends and family. Thanks again George your a great host.
