Schlafmöglichkeiten für 4 Gäste in 2 Schlafzimmern
This pretty, 3-bedroom, semi-detached cottage is named after Queen Mary (the wife of King George V), who visited the Dent-Brocklehurst family at Sudeley Castle in 1944. The cottage sleeps four people and can additionally accommodate a cot.
The accommodation is arranged over two floors. Guests enter from a covered porch into the open-plan kitchen/dining room area with a large under stairs storage (housing baby and cleaning equipment). A back door opens from the kitchen out to a small seating area.
Off the dining area, and down two stairs, is the living room with two large double sofas, a coffee table, occasional tables, and a flat-screen TV with DVD player, and French doors out to the seating area.
Upstairs there is one double bedroom with a large dressing area, one twin bedroom, and a newly refurbished family bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
Ground Floor
Dining Area:
Guests enter Queen Mary Cottage through the covered front door into the open plan kitchen/dining room. Beside the dining area is a handy under stairs cupboard housing baby, cleaning and ironing equipment.
Kitchen:
The kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, crockery, and glassware you need for a self-catering holiday, including a Neff Oven & Hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and Nespresso coffee machine. (See ‘Facilities' above for further details.) A welcome pack of teabags, Nespresso coffee pods, hot chocolate, milk, biscuits, jam/honey mini pots, boiled sweets are provided for your first day at the Cottage.
A back door opens from the kitchen out to a small seating area. The kitchen overlooks the rear of the property towards the River Isbourne.
Living Room:
2 large double sofas, a coffee table, occasional tables, and a flat-screen TV with DVD player, and French doors out to the seating area.
First Floor
Bedroom One:
The main bedroom is entered via a large dressing room with a window over the main courtyard and furnished with a built-in cupboard, antique dressing table, and mirror. Step down two steps to the bedroom, featuring a double divan bed with bedside tables and touch-dim bedside lamps, and a pretty window overlooking the cottage courtyard.
Family Bathroom:
The newly refurbished bathroom with Shaker-style panelling has a large walk-in shower, a large sink with a mirror, a dual flush toilet, and a heated towel rail. Complimentary toiletries are provided including hand soap, shower gel, hand wash, vanity kit, shower cap and toilet paper.
Bedroom Two:
This twin room with rear views towards the River Isbourne has two single beds, a hanging cupboard, and a shared bedside table with touch-dim bedside lamps.
Outside
Guests have access to a private patio at the rear of the property with seating and a table for four. As with all the Sudeley Castle Cottages, it is a short walk to the shared parking area and to the Castle and Gardens.
