Dieses Apartment, das durch drei große Fenster beleuchtet wird und 2011 komplett renoviert wurde, besteht aus 1 Doppelzimmer mit großem Bad und einem 40 m² großen Zimmer. mit 2 Sofas (eines davon mit Doppelbett).
Vom Flur mit offener Küche gelangt man in ein zweites italienisches Badezimmer.
Das ganze Haus verfügt über Parkettböden, während die Badezimmer mit Marmor und Keramikfliesen ausgelegt sind.

das Marais: Das einst sumpfige Marais erlangte ab dem 14. Jahrhundert durch die Nähe zum Louvre, der bevorzugten Residenz Karls V., an Bedeutung. Es erreichte seinen Höhepunkt im 17. Jahrhundert, als es zum Lieblingsgebiet der Aristokratie wurde.
Es entstanden prächtige Paläste, die Hotels, die noch heute das Marais prägen.
Viele dieser Gebäude wurden restauriert und in Museen umgewandelt.

Great location in Paris

We chose to stay here based on the location, a lift (it was on the 3rd floor, which is 4 flights of steps), washer, and 2 bathrooms. It was spacious and the appliances were in working order. It was really hot the week we were there and there were 3 total fans for the apartment which worked out adequately (A/C would have made it perfect, but we realize most of the world isn’t as A/Ced as the USA). It was just the 2 of us. We felt safe (there was a code to get into the courtyard and a fob to get into the tower of our condo, and a key lock on the door). Melany (our local hostess) was very helpful and available. We would stay here again. Thank you

Spacious and Comfortable

This was my second stay at the apartment. It was comforting to return to its warm and familiar decor and spaciousness which afforded individual spaces for relaxing after exploring the wonderful neighborhood. The conveniences in the apartment and an elevator also made our stay relaxing and comfortable. The apartment is located close to many restaurants, the Bastille, Notre Dame and other parts of Paris that iare walkable or accessible from nearby Metro lines.This is a special place to stay when visiting Paris.

Only the local agent’s mother met us on arrival to show us around the apartment. Unfortunately, she was unable to explain to us several essential pieces of information: how the heating system and the electric stove worked because she was apparently unfamiliar with them and was not English-speaking. The agent’s telephone conversation with us at that time was not an adequate substitute for her presence. As a result, we had to guess how to deal with a primitive electrical system which was tripped whenever we attempted to use certain appliances or combinations of appliances. In addition, the WiFi was non-functioning and as a result we were never able to use our phones to locate and contact restaurants to make reservations and to receive email.

Wonderful stay, excellent experience!

The apartment has an excellent location. A “boulangerie” (bakery) across the street, nearby restaurants, groceries stores, Monoprix, pharmacies, three available metro stations, bus stops. and boutiques in the Marais. On Thursdays and Sundays there is a very lively Bastille market with sellers from different places of France, 3 minutes walk from the apartment.Even though the building is on a busy and centrally located avenue, the apartment is extremely peaceful and quiet in the interior of the building, no noise at all. Very secure and safe building. The amenities true to description. The property condition of the Apartment is very good, clean and secure. The elevator is in good working condition.Communication with the owner was excellent. The host, Melany made possible a very smooth check in, explaining everything in detail, and even giving suggestions for nice restaurants in the area and being available when needed. We spent 16 beautiful days and would definitely stay again.

Delightful apt. in Paris

The caretaker was very helpful. It was nice having two bathrooms for three people. The bakery across the street was wonderful and convenient. The train was a short walk and the caretaker was helpful informing us on how to use it. We highly recommend it.

Quiet comply apartment

Comfortable and quiet apartment near the Bastile. Dealing with the owner and agent was terrific. The Metro is close by as well as restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet place to stay in Paris

Ideal location

We stayed at the apartment for 8 days. We were welcomed by Mel. She had just cleaned the apartment leaving fresh towels, bedding and flowers for us. How lovely! The pictures online were very accurate. Having two full bathrooms for two women was a luxury. The location cannot be better. Easy access to Place des Vosges. Metro stop one block from the apartment door. Good restaurants all around. Excellent choice, highly recommend and hope to return.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is spacious, had everything we needed (including fans for the summer), and was very quiet (looks onto an inner courtyard). The location is terrific. A Wonderful Apartment

My wife and I stayed at this perfect apartment. Both bathrooms were large and the shower had great water pressure. The bed was comfortable and so was the couch in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked. The apartment was in a great location. Many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. In fact there were 5 michelin star restaurants in the neighborhood. The Metro was close by and a bakery across the street. I would highly recommend staying at this Apartment. Ideal for two adults. Great to have one bathroom for me and one for my wife. A Rare Find in Paris

A rare find: a spacious apartment with two full bathrooms, a secure building with an elevator, in a great neighborhood and at a reasonable price! Added bonus: a hostess that extends a warm welcome to her guests by timely responses to inquiries, easy and convenient check in/out, and in creating a warm and calm interior with many thoughtful conveniences. I was fortunate to finally find an availability during my travel dates after years of checking and reading the reviews. Great time in a wonderful appartement

Really nice and spacious appartement, well equipped, in a beautiful surrounding near Place des Vosges. Contact to the owner was quick and easy, Maria Pia was very friendly, also Melany, who was taking care of our arrival. The appartement is located very centrally, near Metro Bastille, but has still a quite atmosphere. A really good bakery is 1 minute away, also lots of good restaurants. We really want to come back to this nice place.

The property was as we imagined, large apartment in a great old Parisian building. On a bustling street but in the back on a courtyard, so street sounds were not an issue. Most everything you need for your stay in Paris. Close to Metro/bus stops, restaurants, patisseries. The host quickly responded to our questions.

Perfect choice!

This flat was a perfect choice for me and my young adult daughter; we are both introverts who enjoy space and a bit of privacy when we travel. It was bigger than it looked in the photos, and having two full baths - at opposite ends of the property- was a huge - and unusual for Paris - plus! We loved the location - super easy access to Metro and bus lines - and steps from Place des Vosges. After a week in a St. Germain hotel, which we also liked for different reasons, this truly felt like the “real,” less touristy, Paris. Property security was impressive without being complicated. Local hosts were awesome, and patient and helpful when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Apartment near Place des Vosges

This is a large one bedroom, with a convertible sofa in the living room, two full bath apartment on the edge of the Marais. It's convenient to a lot of restaurants, supermarkets, and bakeries (an excellent one on the corner), and a liquor store adjacent to the building. Place des Vosges is a beautiful park two blocks away. There are two Métro lines within walking distance and two bus lines stop almost at the door. The building is between Place Republique and Bastille. The owner and the host are very responsive, and have stocked the apartment with all the supplies one would need. We look forward to our next visit.

Perfect stay

Perfect Paris. A quiet retreat on a VERY busy street but it is on a courtyard, away from the noise. You can buy a Harley Davidson, a baguette or an excellent bottle of wine within two blocks. Restaurants everywhere, food stores, three metro stops (that we used), an outdoor food market two days a week and a very secure building. Two bathrooms, a very large living room, great kitchen, clothes and dish washers, two towels heaters to dry the clothes. . We spent three weeks there. Comfortable and we even entertained. The owner answered every question right away, it had a lift. What more can I say but, great place!

Our second time in this gem of an apartment

We stayed in his lovely property in June 2022, and when another trip to Paris was planned for 2023, we were lucky enough to see that there was availability here again. The pictures posted online very accurate and if anything, the apartment is bigger than what it appears. There is an elevator which helps with heavy luggage and such and a full kitchen with everything you may need if you choose to cook for yourself. There are so many lovely restaurants around so chances are you won't be cooking. There are several metro stops very close by that will take you anywhere in the city . Communication with the owner and the check-in / check out process is extremely easy and efficient. The building is extremely double secure with a coded door entry way into a courtyard. The neighborhood itself is lovely and right on the edge of Le Marais. Don't hesitate to book this lovely apartment. We've done it twice now and if we ever come back, we will help it's available yet again.

A mostly positive stay in Amsterdam

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 12 days in the spring. We were joined by another couple for the entire stay. We are all retired educators. The Pros: - The apartment was well equipped and allowed plenty of room for two couples. - It was great having the two bedrooms located on different floors providing plenty of privacy. - The beds were comfortable. - It was also good having two full bathrooms. - The kitchen was well equipped. We prepared a number of dinners easily. - Everything was generally clean. - The flat screen TV in the living room is a good sized Sony. - The best part was the location - directly across from the fabulous Vondel Park and right across the street from the Hertz/Thrifty car rental office. - Also, the apartment is far enough from the center that the area wasn't overrun with tourists, yet it's close enough that you can easily walk to most important sites. The Cons: - The water pressure was very low for the showers in each bathroom. - Having the downstairs toilet way down the hall from the master bedroom was a pain. - The stairs up to the apartment and then again up to the second bedroom are quite steep. - The upstairs ensuite bathroom is very small. - We were not allowed to use the rear balcony...it was actually chained shut! All in all, a good stay in a great city.

Exceeded expectation! Brilliant Location, felt like we were living in Paris

We have a beautiful home in Australia. I say this because our expectations could be a little higher when we travel. However, this property exceeded our expectation in all areas. It is not a 'tourist' accommodation, but a place where travellers from around the world come to lay their head before they venture out to feel the essence of Paris. I wanted something like that, quirky, CLEAN and interesting. I don't need to stay in a 5 star hotel and feel like I'm anywhere in the world. This met the expectation on all levels. Location is brilliant. Two metros are literally 2 minutes walk, down the street is the Bastille, across the road, if you wander down, there are the most fabulous modern art shops, restaurants, the nicest ones I have seen in Paris. The ones where you actually FEEL like you have been in Paris, where there are only 10 seats inside and people queue to sit there. Or where you feel like you belong in a different decade from this one. Where there are accents from everywhere and old men with wrinkled faces and bad teeth conglomerate together at the front, smiling, talking and laughing. The communications and checkin and check out could not have been better. We arrived early and it was not a problem. We extended our check out and Maria Pia had not problem with it. She did not speak English, but we understood very clearly everything we had to know. The apartment: Quirky, fun, Parisian, clean! There is everything you need there and I even did a load of washing in the very good washing machine. It is warm, inviting and if you wanted to cook, everything you need is there. Two full bathrooms also made it very easy for us and our two tween daughters to spread out comfortable. It was bigger than we though from the photos. Safety: I bring this up because for us being a family it was important. There are three different lock to get into the room. There is a code of the main gate, a swiper for the building and a key for the room. In fact, we felt SO safe there, that we left our children (12 years old) in the room and went for a romantic dinner across the road. They had a phone, we had a phone, they were two minutes away from us. But as a parent, this was really important to us. The girls loved the feeling of independence. In summary, I commented to my husband, that when we go back to Paris, I couldn't imagine taking the chance of staying somewhere else. This just met the all our needs.

Awesome location, property and attention by host

The location in the middle of the Marais but in a quiet building as the unit faces an inner courtyard, is unbeatable. Walking distance from many museums, specialty shops, restaurants, the iconic Place des Vosges, and mostly, the history-deep Marais district. The apartment is absolutely lovely, quaint decor, ample and luminous. All necessary appliances and little items are provided and in good shape (including lights, ventilation, supplies). It is great to have a clothes washer, a dishwasher and two walk-in showers. Lots of linen, towels and kitchen items. Melany and owner Maria Pia were always available at a WhatsApp call or email. Bonus: great bed, ample living area, open kitchen, who could ask for anything more?

We loved the location, the property, the safety, the politeness of the neighbors. It was a pleasure for the owner to share the home. We hope to return for a more extended stay!!!
