Aufwendig & geschmackvoll in einem farbenfrohen maurischen Stil eingerichtet Casita Carmela ist ein privates Stadthaus, perfekt gelegen im Herzen des wunderschönen, historischen Dorfes Mijas mit herrlichem Blick auf das Mittelmeer. Es ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der FĂŒlle von Restaurants und Bars im Pueblo entfernt, was es zum idealen Ort fĂŒr alle macht, die lieber kein Auto mieten möchten.
Gelegen in einer sehr ruhigen und friedlichen Gasse, wenn Sie das Anwesen betreten, werden Sie von der herrlichen Aussicht von der gerĂ€umigen und wunderschönen Terrasse, die reichlich sonnigen und schattigen Platz zum Entspannen und Essen im Freien bietet, betĂ€ubt sein. (BBQ wird ebenfalls mitgeliefert.) In der Saison können Sie sogar Ihre eigenen Zitronen und Feigen pflĂŒcken.

Tolle Unterkunft

Wir wurden herzlich von Adrienne und Gordon empfangen und ĂŒber alle wichtigen Punkten in der Wohnung informiert. Die Wohnung ist genauso wie beschrieben. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt! Es gibt eine Nachbarin, die ihren Eingang zu ihrem Haus zusammen mit der Wohnung hat. Aber sie war sehr nett und hat uns nicht gestört. Nur das Parken am Rand des Dorfes war in der Hauptsaison abends nicht einfach. Es gibt genug ParkplĂ€tze, man muss nur weit laufen (Berg hoch *schwitz*). Ansonsten wĂŒrden wir hier immer wieder gerne kommen. Es gibt abends viele tolle Restaurants und einiges zu erleben! Wir können die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.

Ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde!

Wir haben uns in der Casita Carmela sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Einrichtung des Dorfhauses hat uns sehr gut gefallen und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Doppeldusche und das Jacuzzi. Beides wurde von uns gerne und oft genutzt. :-) Die Ausicht von der schönen Terrasse ist traumhaft und die Lage des Hauses im Dorf ist perfekt. Von Mijas aus ist alles möglich, ob Wandern in der Sierra de Mijas, Strandurlaub oder auch Sightseeing. Unsere 14 Tage wurden mit tollen Erinnerungen gefĂŒllt. Wir haben Malaga, Ronda, Seviella und die Alhambra in Granada erkundet und auch einige Tage in Mijas und der Umgebung verbracht. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank fĂŒr die gute Betreuung. House is in a quiet area of Mijas with beautiful views, looks exactly like the photos! Outside space is fantastic with several different areas to sit. Gordon was excellent in his communication. Mijas is a stunning village and Gordon’s house is ideal for a relaxing break, with a small supermarket close to the house and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Lynn next door is lovely. Dave who collected us from the airport and on our return, helped greatly in making this a perfect holiday.

Stunning location!!

I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property. It has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. A huge terrace with views over the hills and down to the sea. It was fantastic to have the hot/cold tub to relax in and cool off. Lots of space for a couple. Perfect location on the edge of the old town, nice and peaceful yet a lovely stroll to a plethora of traditional restaurants, shops and bars. Mijas itself is beautiful, like stepping back in time. Do not hesitate to book if you manage to find the dates as it seems to be extremely popular. I can understand why!!

Lovely casita

Both my wife and I had a great vacation at this lovely property. Very well situated close to all facilities and restaurants/bars. The properties contains virtually all the things you would need for a great holiday. A beautiful and deceptively spacious patio which we loved as well as the hot tub which we used every day. The owners Gordon and Adrienne were the perfect hosts and lovely neighbours. We have already booked for next year.

Beautiful getaway in southern Spain

We had a wonderful time at this lovely house in Mijas. It was exactly as described in the listing. Gordon and Adrienne were easy to communicate with and were gracious when we arrived late in the evening due to car problems. Mijas is a small village but has lots of good restaurants. We travelled all over the area. Would definitely recommend having a car.

Amazing stay

Fantastic well equipped property with so many quirky and individual touches. Casita Carmela perfect in every way

Casita Carmela is the perfect find. The owners Gordon and Adrienne have put a lot of thought and love into this unique villa. All the areas are beautifully decorated to the highest standard along with the white goods and furnishings. The location is fantastic 5 minutes walk into the town which has many amazing restaurants and plenty of shops sellng handmade jewellery and art. The outside space is a real haven and you will find yourself spending most of your time here. It is very spacious and the hottub is a welcoming bonus. The views from this terrace are amazing. We enjoyed our stay so much that we would have liked to return next year. Unfortunately

This is the 4th time staying at this property and it is as charming as ever. A really homely feel has been created by the owners and the location is excellent; within easy walking distance from the pueblo. Cleanliness first rate. Hot tub wonderful. Casita Carmela lived up to our expectations, it’s beautiful. Peaceful location but a 5 minute walk to some lovely restaurants & bars. The casita itself was perfect, very tasteful decor with everything you need for your stay. Hosts were very welcoming & on hand if you needed them. The outdoor space was bigger than we expected with the most amazing views! Nice hot tub and outdoor shower to cool off in too. This was our first time in Mijas Pueblo but definitely won’t be our last! It’s a lovely friendly village

Wonderful place to relax

The property is about 25 minutes by car from Malaga airport. The drive is fine but once in Mijas the streets are incredibly narrow, there is a complex one way system, and parking close to the property (or anywhere!) is a bit of a lottery. When I do this again I will get a transfer to and from the airport and use bus and train to explore the area. Gordon and Adrienne rendezvoused with us and guided us to a point near the Casita where we could unload the car. They are excellent hosts and gave us a thorough brief on the property. The property is wonderful; beautifully appointed, plenty of room for a couple and a breathtaking view. Everything you need is there, and the hosts are readily available if you need support. The hot tub is a wonderful extra that makes this property a cut above anything else out there. Mijas Pueblo is gorgeous; wonderful restaurants and quaint streets with amazing views. We caught a bus in the village square and went to fuengerola, where a 1 minute walk takes you to the train station for a ride into Malaga. This is well worth doing. Malaga is beautiful and the total cost of that trip per person was less than €5 per head! You really do NOT need a car. The neighbour Lynne is a long term Brit resident and is lovely; full of good advice and not in the least obtrusive. All in all the whole setup here is perfect. Don’t go though; I want it to be available for us next time😜

Mijas Pueblo was everything we hoped it would be. Loved it.

First, I don't think you'll find a better host. Wow! Gordon was fantastic with communication, checking in during the week as well to make sure we were happy. Very impressed. We also LOVED Mijas Pueblo where this unit is. Absolutely beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. We rented a car and drove to Marbella, Granada, Ronda, Caminito del Ray, and other spots. It was ideal for us. We also took full advantage of the hot tub since the evenings were much cooler in April. The view is fantastic from the hot tub. We were able to find parking about 5 minutes from the property each day, which was not a problem at all. It was free street parking. We noticed before booking that this property had so many 5 star reviews and we understand why. We loved it! Thanks Gordon and Adriana!

Everything about this holiday was exceptional, great communication with owners, nothing was to much trouble, The casa is a nice 10 minute stroll from the centre of Mijas, 100 yards or so up the street towards nino’s is a little shop next to the hardware store, (not shown on google maps) Nino’s is great little tapas/ coffee in the morning great prices, The casa itself is outstanding everything you need, the shower is amazing, lovely decor and a pleasant patio to while the hours away. Cheap bus ride into feungola €1.55 one way. Little bus (222) from nino’s, or a more regular one from the town hall terminus. Malaga is only 1.5 hrs on the bus €2.40 yes that’s correct €2.40 Enjoy your stay we sure did

Amazing, totally amazing!!

Second time staying in this beautiful villa, uncertain if visiting for a second time would be any less amazing as the first time but couldn't be more wrong. The villa inside and out is a piece of heaven, the view is fabulous and the 5 minute stroll into the centre of Mijas Pueblo is lovely. You will not go wrong booking this villa and 30 minutes in a taxi from the airport is great. I fly from East Midlands and my travel time door to door is about 7 hours even living an hour away from the airport. Great place to visit and amazing place to stay, there is no possible way you will not enjoy yourself. Reluctant in posting this review as it is letting more and more people know how good this place is as we will be returning next year and i am sure for many years to come. Book up now as its getting full guys!!!

Paradise in Mijas Pueblo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful casita. Unfortunately it was only available for 5 nights and we could easily have stayed longer. The property is perfect in every way and the terrace and hot tub were the icing on the cake. The traditional furnishings and beautiful art work made it feel so very homely. We really relaxed during our stay and spent many hours just looking at the spectacular views. The booking process was easy and the hosts responded very quickly to any queries that we may have had. We will definitely return to this property and beautiful Mijas, we loved it! Thank you Gordon and Adrienne

We are a retired couple from the UK and have been regular visitors to Mijas for over 20 years. We loved Mijas Pueblo so much we have bought this little jewel of a property which we want others to enjoy also.

Having worked as the Director of Photography on the US TV show House Hunters International for over nine years I had both seen and filmed in hundreds of properties and this little property stole our hearts so much so we had to buy it.

Casita Carmela is situated in the idea part of Mijas Pueblo. It's situated down a very quite lane however you are only 5 mins walk to the very heart of the village and no car is needed to enjoy all that Mijas Pueblo and the surrounding hillsides have to offer.
