The house was lovely. I appreciated that Donna took care to get in touch with very explicit instructions, which made check-in easy. We had a torrential downpour thr first su of our stay that resulted in a powe outage. The management company dealt with it in a reasonable time frame.There are cameras on the property-when Donna called, she gave me a heads up and told me they are only monitored if the alarm goes off. I would have liked to have seen this in the listing up front. I see reviewing the listing that there were specific cleaning steps to be done before checkout, but these are a bit hidden in the policies section-it would have been nice to have this info in the check in emails sent just before my stay.

We have an excellent management team and are pleased that they were able to give you immediate help when you temporarily lost power. Our villa is professionally cleaned after every visit, but out of respect for our cleaners, we do ask that all personal rubbish is removed, and all dirty dishes are put in the dishwasher and turned on before you leave. We hope that you have made some lovely memories.

Excellent communication from host. We hired a car and found it easy getting to shops and exploring Puerto Del Carmen and Puerto Calero. Swimming pool was used a lot. The villa had everything we needed. A hot tub was mentioned in the description but there wasn't one. Had a great holiday and we'd love to go back next year.

Excellent villa. We have stayed in many Playa Blanca villas over recent years, including a lot of good ones and this one is the best so far as per:- Way above average garden / plot in terms of size / privacy / always lots of space in the sun or shade and the very unusual bonus of a good sea view. - 5-10 min walk to the best beach in the resort, with safe swimming. Likewise 5 min walk to the 7 mile long sea front promenade (wheras many of the larger villas in the resort are a 15 -20 min walk to the sea front) - Very roomy villa inside (better than the photos show)- Good local management agent used as per: villa was cleaned to a high standard / minor water issue dealt with very quickly (turned out the issue was external to the villa) / pool maintained to a high standard (pool guy not only cleaned pool mid week but also on changeover day so holidays start with a clean pool- Everything works as it should, ie good showers with hot water etc etcWay, way above average villa, recommended

We had a fantastic stay in Lanzarote. Donna's villa is amazing. Exceptionally clean and well laid out and equipped. Plenty of room for all six of us and the pool was superb. The house and pool were lovely. It was a 20 min walk to the nearest big shop for food, but we had a hire car so that didn't bother us. It was lovely and quiet with great views over to Fuerteventure. There was only air conditioning in the double rooms, but fans available in the others. The couple of minor issues we had while we were there were dealt with quickly and had a very friendly chat with the owner before we arrived to give us all the check in details which was lovely.

Great Villa, heated pool

Very well equipped Villa, has the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever seen. The heated pool 26 degrees was a great benefit in Jan / February and made our stay very pleasant. 10 minutes from the beach and restaurant & Bars, 25 minutes walk to the main town!Would happily book again.

We are Donna and Steven Hartley. We live in the bracing North of England and have fallen love with Playa Blanca and Casa Rachel. It's our haven in the sunshine which has ideal space for our extended family to get together in a perfect climate at any time of the year. We find it is ideal for all our ages being totally on one level and the internal layout makes it suitable for couples, two families or for a large family group.

We chose this villa because of its peaceful residential location with lovely sea views but also its closeness to beaches, shops and restaurants.
As garden lovers we cherish our private and secluded garden with mature planting around its heated swimming pool.
It provides the perfect place to unwind under the shade of the palm trees and pergola.
