Great beachfront location and home layout

Large fully equipped kitchen, comfortable seating for 6 adults in living room, and nice private updated baths for each bedroom. Weather was cold and rainy but we loved the beach views, and quick drive to Center Street for shopping and meals. Festive area for the holidays.

Perfect Beach House for Family Vacation

This beach access home was PERFECT for our family of 7 with 5 kids ages 1 though 9. Each room had a king or queen bed and its own full bath. The living room was large and had lots of windows to let in the beautiful natural light from the beach. The house was stocked with games and all essentials for cooking/baking. We will DEFINITELY be vacationing here again!

Perfect Beach House

This was our second visit to this house and we will be coming back! The house has all you need for cooking at home. All 3 beds were very comfortable. And the master closet is large enough for a travel crib! Perfect for a family or couples retreat!

Nice House, Close to Ocean

The deck was great and had plenty of comfortable furniture. The ocean views are perfect. Kitchen is amply stocked and the knives are sharp! The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms had very nice showers too. The internet is a bit slow but that is minor with the ocean right in front to view. We enjoyed this house.

Extremely Relaxing

Ocean front/beach front doesn't get any better. Can watch the beach from sitting on the deck or screen porch. We had an absolutely amazing, relaxing, and enjoyable stay! We will be back for sure.

Lovely Home!

The home is lovely & on a beautiful, rather uncrowded part of the beach, however while on the screened porch or deck our view of this beach, and ocean was largely blocked because of the overgrown bushes.That was disappointing.

Great Place To Stay

We were very happy with the entire home and oceanside location. All rooms were clean and the kitchen had enough table-settings for a crowd along with utensils, bakeware, and more! The management team was extremely responsive even in off hours. They addressed and solved the few minor issues we had. A very positive experience. The beach was fantastic as was the entire neighborhood. We had a short stay however next time we will plan to stay longer!

Great stay

It was our first time to Folly Beach. It was a beautiful Beach very quaint. It was wonderful for our dog who loves swimming and the tide pools with the backyard. It made it very easy for him to go potty. It was a very usable house for everyone. Everyone had their privacy as well as gathering spots.

Well it was expensive for the off season but was fine until I had to call to get washcloths then that took 2 days. Then one of the showers were clogged and although I spoke to them twice no one ever came to fix. Each couple having their own bathroom and shower was one of the renting points but that didn’t happen. The place was more run down from the year prior so probably will not stay again next year. I was very disappointed in the experience this year. Again didn’t exactly get what I paid for.

Wedding Weedend

We stayed here for a wedding that was on the beach 5 doors down. The house was wonderful. Extremely clean, excellent location. We could walk to the wedding. Beds were comfortable. Great space for our family. We would definitely rent again!

Beach house

The house has a great location. It was basically clean but the decor, paint and furniture are very tired. Door handles fall off, the dishwasher racks has many rusted and broken off prongs, nonfunctional microwave still in place etc

Thank you for your review! We are revisiting the lighting on the exterior of the house and if you add the property address into the maps app on your phone it will bring you directly to the home. Our after hours line is designed to help our guests who need assistance outside of business hours and every message is checked by the manager on call. Although messages through the VRBO app and text messages are checked frequently during business hours and on Sundays, calling our after hours line is the quickest way to access our team and is designed so that we can help our guests after hours- especially those that need help checking in to the home! Please don't hesitate to use the resources we have available should you need them. Again, we appreciate the feedback and looking forward to hosting more guests on the Charleston Coast.

Fun In The Sun really is!!!

We had an amazing time while staying in Fun in the Sun. The house fulfilled all of our needs. The back deck was lovely to sit on with our dog am and pm. The yard was a great, the screened porch was a nice bonus, and the house was very comfortable. Also, the management company is responsive and very nice. It has taken me a week to write this review because I was too sad leaving last week!!! I can’t wait to get back to Folly, and hopefully to Fun in the Sun!

Tranquil oceanfront retreat

My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs, and all four of us LOVED the property. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and had an incredible view of the ocean. The screened in porch was an excellent touch, and it was nice to go out there and enjoy meals while listening to the sounds of the ocean. The backyard wooden walkway heading to the beach was well maintained and was equipped with a convenient outdoor shower. This was especially helpful for cleaning sand off our feet after spending time on the beach. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay at Folly Beach. We are looking forward to returning.

Great view of the ocean

The photos of the house were a little deceiving as it has a bit more wear and tear than what the photos show, but overall it was a nice place. The bathrooms and kitchen especially. You cannot beat the view of the ocean from the living area, the screened in porch area and the deck. Although the beach access was damaged from hurricane Irma, it was taken care of by Tuesday, which we appreciated. We also appreciated the fact that the house is pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the property to others.

Perfect house

This house was so great for our family and our pup. It is so great that this is our second year in a row staying here. The location, the yard, the house in general... all perfect. I left off a star from the "accuracy of listing" rating because there was no mention of the beach renourishment project in the listing, in the contract, or in any communication from the rental company. The loud droning noise could be heard from the back deck, and it was even louder when you sat on the beach in front of the house. There were times when you couldn't hear the surf from the house or on the beach.

Although the work had been completed in front of 1007 west ashley for months. The pump located on 9th block was a little disruptive from time to time. The good news is, the project is currently 95% complete and they are projected to be gone by August.

A change of scenery was just what we needed!

We loved our week at this property. The location could not be beat, and those views were worth every effort to get there. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals all week, including the outdoor grill to add to our meal options. Very comfortable, and the decor was beachy but not too beachy/kitchy. The only issues we had were that the high ceilings clearly made it tough for the cleaning crew to pay attention to the very big and kind of icky cobwebs that had been there for some time. Also, the outdoor floodlights or any outdoor lighting made it very hard to grill after it was dark. Great responses from property management though, and would definitely stay there again.
