The view was great and shops were very close! Only problem was elevator didn't work at first but that was taken care of except for going to 4th floor. Us old people were good after that was taken care of. Light in stairwell was out and very dim--need to check that out. Would stay there again.

This property over delivered! The pictures don't do it justice, and there's plenty of public and private space to hang out. Each of the 5 bedrooms had a bathroom and there are 2 half baths on the top and first floor. Check in and out was easy, and it's a great location with easy access to the beach. Great for an adults only trip like ours when you just want to enjoy quality time with your friends

Fabulous property. Lots of steps if you are unable to be mobile. Plenty of bedrooms, a ton of space. Perfect for a large family or a group of friends. Loved it!

This is a wonderful house. Easily slept all 12 of us. It was very clean. Everything worked well. We would go back there in a flash!

Beautiful views!

My family came to celebrate my Mother’s 80th Birthday, and we had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for us. The house is a little worn in some areas, but it was easily overlooked, as the views were spectacular! My only suggestions would be to put screens on the windows so that you can open the windows to hear the surf and not let all the bugs in. It would be nice to have a grill downstairs, as well. Overall, it was a lovely place! We would come back again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Staying at Grandview

This was a great house for our family of 12. It had plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped but a little small for such a large house. We all enjoyed our stay. However,....we felt when we arrived that the entry-level area and stairs were not clean at all and the rest of the house could/should have been cleaned more thoroughly (articles of clothing of previous renters were found when we walked into bedrooms and the counters were gritty and there was sand under things on the top floor.) The AC on the first floor was not working well the first two nights but the managers checked it out quickly when we let them know and it was fixed the next day. The AC in one top floor bedroom did not seem to work at all even after the AC repairman was there. We were able to make it somewhat comfortable by using a fan to pull cool air in from the hallway, Another concern was the table on the 2nd floor patio was very rusted and somewhat dangerous for young chilcren. It should be replaced soon! When we stripped our bed this morning we discovered the mattress pad had blood stains on it and obviously we were fine after sleeping on it for a week but felt it was rather gross that it hadn’t been changed when the bed was made up before our arrival.

wonderful home

enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely home, very comfortable for a family with12 adults. Comfortable beds, enjoyed the porch seating. The 'antique' bed on the top floor was not usable. It was too small for two people and had a downward slant toward the head of the bed. Those guests slept on the sofas. Other than that, all was great.

Great house, beautiful views

We stayed to celebrate our mom's 80th birthday. House worked out perfect with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate my husband and I, my mom, two sisters and husbands, and their kids (ages 14-27). The amount of stairs were difficult for my mom, but we knew elevator was not available ahead of time. She did great with some help and this house is great for most people as long as climbing stairs is not a challenge. A bathroom for every bedroom is certainly a plus along with a half bath in the main living area. The views are beautiful and the decks/balconies are perfect to enjoy the wonderful ocean breezes. The furnishings are a little dated, but very comfortable and create a great atmosphere for the home. If I were the owner, I would not spend money to update if continuing to use as a rental as it all fits perfectly. The location is great near the county park and it's an easy stroll to the beach at the park with bathroom and life guards during the summer season. Feedback from all in our party is the house was fantastic and helped make a wonderful visit/family reunion! We definitely recommend this property!

The Ultimate Beach House

This property is truly the ultimate beach house! The house is fully equipped and magnificently furnished. The owners hit a home run with this property! It feels like a home instead of a sterile, cookie cutter beach rental. Just a short walk from the beach access and a short drive to Charleston. The views from this house are absolutely breathtaking! I have stayed in this house many times and found it to be the perfect location. I highly recommend this rental home! I cannot wait to return to this property again very soon! This is my favorite house on Folly!
