The house itself was great! The bedrooms were good sized, the house was clean, and the pool was wonderful.
However, customer service left a whole lot to be desired. Even before we arrived, we had difficulty getting assistance regarding having the pool heated and just have general questions answered. The Guest Portal was ineffective and we had to send texts and messages four and five times and still never received a response before we arrived. There were also emails coming from both VRBO and from the house management company so it was difficult to understand where we needed to go for what.
When we arrived, the gate required a QR code which we had not been sent. We sat on the side of the road for more than 20 minutes attempting to reach someone who could help us. The property management company never even returned our calls or texts. Once we did get ahold of someone from VRBO, they were able to help us.
Then we continued to have issues:
• The pool hadn’t been heated when we arrived
• The wifi password provided was incorrect and no one could get connected
• The Internet went out on a Sunday and never came back up before we left on Tuesday
We called for all of these issues and received varying degrees of help. We still had a great time, but no one wants that much stress while they’re on vacation.
