The listing photos were far more attractive than the actual home. Road noise was extremely loud and woke us up very early every morning. Another undisclosed issue was that the downstairs room could only be accessed from outside (no interior access), which was particularly inconvenient while traveling with kids. That said, the view itself was beautiful.

The house had most the things we needed. The hot tub was nice. The location was great, being able to walk downtown is awesome. The house could use some basic maintenance such as paint and door knobs that don’t fall off when you turn them.

I dot even know where to start. If you’re having doubts about this place, please do yourself a a favor and look for something else. The most disturbing issue, is the lower level. It has an unbearable foul smell, air is stagnant! It smells like dirty public bathroom and wet rag. I can deal with the split levels and having to go out to access the top floor and I can deal with the drive way being on a slope. But the photos are deceiving and do not reflect the exterior or interior of this house. It is not clean, the jacuzzi water is very filthy( we decided not to use it . For safety reasons) the exterior was not as shown in photos. Dirty and the outdoor furniture is very distressed and falling apart, the upstairs living room was not working properly. We had to contact host and it took them 1 day to fix. The view is spectacular. The space was very crowded. I would’ve rather stayed at a hotel, but decided not I give this place a try. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!

The description of the rental was a under statement. The view was mostly blocked. The furniture in the unit was broken. No instructions on how to use the heating/ cooling unit. The hot tube had no privacy and missing a part. This unit was two story and the only way to get to the other level was to go outside to the stairs. The driveway was so step the car would barely make it up. Litter over the driveway the grass haven't been mowed in weeks. I'm sorry but I could go on and on. For what I paid to rent this place was a rip off. First time customer and last time

We now have regular landscaping taking place at the home as well. We feel confident that the unique layout and hot tub positioning are accurately and clearly described on the listing, so that guests know what to expect ahead of booking. And several members on our team who care for this home weekly confirmed that they don't have concerns safely parking their vehicles in the driveway. I'm sorry this home wasn't the right fit for you and I can assure you we are acting on your concerns so that they are remedied promptly and effectively.

This Depoe Bay gem is where it's at! Views, location, comfort, hot tub. It has it all! Do not look elsewhere if you're looking to stay in Depoe Bay. It was better than we could imagine. It was a perfect set up for part of our family with a 6 month old as the ground level was so private. The hot tub was amazing with a great view of the ocean and the weather was fantastic!

Stunning location and view. Good space inside

We had an awesome stay at this place. The layout is perfect for 2 families with kids and there is more space left.Parking for 2 cars was tight, and the steep slope made it more difficult. It would be better, if they can offer a spot at the back or on the sides.The kitchen was well stocked, we missed some cooking oil though.

The downstairs apartment tv did not work at all. Internet down there was crappy. The fridge was filthy on top, in the master bathroom towel rack broken..several small issues like this, that were annoying, but still a good stay. Great location.
