The condo was clean and in a great location, very close to Canyon Lodge. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The actual room size is a bit smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it works well for about four people. We had six, so it felt a little tight. The kitchen amenities could also use some upgrades, but everything was functional. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay and very convenient for accessing the slopes.

Plenty of room for my party of 5. Lots of seating area in the living room. Enjoyed the overall layout (kitchen, dinning, living area), convenient to eagle lift and shopping. Stocked with pkenty of firewood. Highly recommend.

Decent stay with kids

We appreciated the underground parking of this unit... especially during a storm. The property was clean. We found clothes left behind by the previous visitors and would have liked more than one kitchen towel due to the length of our stay. We had a maintenance issue which was quickly fixed. The internet access was a bit shotty. Overall, the upper loft was a great place for the kids. The property was cozy and warm with plenty of firewood..BYO lighter though.

Was very tough getting place warm first night. Not as clean as it should be and dated. Several lamps broken. The WiFi wasn’t working because the router wasn’t plugged in. We had to move credenza to get to router plug and the credenza is precipitously balanced on blocks.

Basic

The unit felt quite outdated, definitely has not been renovated or updated since the 80’s. The kitchen utensils and cooking ware had rust and little things like that through out the house were disappointing. Some of the light bulbs were burnt out, heater made really load noises, fireplace wood didn’t have any wood and the Tv isn’t up todate. Parking garage spaces are very tight. Overall if you’re not looking to be in the cabin much and just need it to sleep this place is good enough.

Nice condo/cabin bad property management

Just like the title says, the cabin was as expected, the property management company let me down. The rate quoted was not what was charged. We could not work it out. Also, I was forced to download a separate app to access the property. I had to pick up the keys at a secondary location. Both sets of keys did not fit well with the lock. Just felt like they were the customer and I was lucky enough to rent from them. I feel bad for the owner of the property.

Surprisingly Disappointing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have used Mammoth Reservations for years. Great accommodations and awesome customer support. Our most recent trip was disappointing however. On two consecutive nights both my son and I woke up with what we thought were mosquitoe bites all over our head, neck and hand. We told management and they said sorry. That’s it. Just sorry. I wish I could post a picture. They checked and found no mosquitoes. We didn’t have the bites before going to bed. I expected more than I’m sorry.

After your report we immediately sent our maintenance and housekeeping team to address the concerns reported. As we mentioned we did not find any bugs (of any kind) in the unit or bedroom. We did our due diligence and took the right steps to rectify any possible issue or concern, and inspected the home multiple times in all possible places. There are mosquitos in and around the mountains/sierras so it is common to get bites from insects from being outdoors, occasionally if doors and windows are open they will also make their way inside. Reviewer Comments: The condo was neatly organized, but is in need of a deep cleaning. The carpet, couches, and chairs felt dirty, and had visible hairs and dust on them. The downstairs bathroom had a pubic hair on the counter, which is definitely not a sight you want to see when you first enter. Also, the pool/spa code was incorrect. We tried several times, and also called the management company but it was too late and they were closed. After some time we heard people in the spa and they kindly opened the gate for us. Definitely an inconvenience. All in all, I would say this was a disappointing stay.

Decent older condo on quiet street. Sleeps 3-6 comfortably in 3 beds with 2 baths.

Although we were expecting an updated unit, this property was pleasant. No AC was the main drag as it was warm (end of July). Flat screen TVs in each room (nice). Kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, dish soap, sponge, sugar, spices, etc. Small soaps, shampoo, conditioner (adequate). Enough towels, pillows, blankets, etc. Kid size toilets (manageable). The garage (shared - no lock roll-up door) ended up being a useful feature as the open parking area was full. No trailers allowed in open parking spaces. There is a vacant, dirt lot across the street for trailers (until another home is built). Ice maker and water dispenser on refrigerator don't work. Loose step leading up to unit. Big stain on carpet in downstairs bedroom. Broken blinds in downstairs bedroom. Broken towel bar in downstairs bedroom. Dated decor but very comfortable. Good for winter, spring, and fall but with no AC, can be a little uncomfortable on hot days in the summer. Easy drive to The Village via Lake Mary Road. Bike path at end of street.

We feel like the photos are accurate in portraying this property. We understand the difficulty adjusting to life without A/C can be like as there is no A/C in Mammoth. However, Mammoth Lakes cools down with the mountain breeze. As locals, we open windows to let in the fresh air and shut the blinds when the heat rises. It is quite an adjustment to venture into the Sierra but worth the effort. We will undoubtedly resolve the issues you brought up. Nice house in a nice town

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All in all a very pleasant place to stay, presumably ideal for the ski season. No issues with the stay or company (minor issue with wine glass holder with very prompt response from company). Quite a long two hour drive from Yosemite valley (~2 hours), although it was a beautiful drive.

Great Condo!

Condo was great, fully stocked with kitchen utensils/appliances, fully stocked with wood for fireplace, super close to mammoth mountain to ski/ snowboard/ or sled! Overall great stay and will for sure be back in the future. I recommend !
