The host was very communicative. She answered all my questions the same day. On the day we arrived, we had trouble getting in, through no fault of the host, and she answered my call immediately and helped us get in. The condo was clean and as advertised. We wanted for nothing. The condo was supplied with blankets, linens, paper towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas. From the balcony, we saw whales, turtles, and snorelers. It was a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee every morning.

Perfect location

This location allowed us to see sea turtles and whales every day of our stay which was the best part of our stay on the island. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful property

The property was perfect for our family. The location was great being in the middle of the island and the view was breathtaking. The beach chairs and coolers were a great addition for going to the beach. Leslie was very helpful and kept in contact to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

Paradise in Hawaii

Condo is as advertised, party of 4 adults plenty of room. Quiet area, great location, close to, restaurants, beaches and hiking just to mention a few. Leslie was very commutative and accommodating! Wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Condo on the beach with turtles in the back

Beautiful condo. Well maintained. Turtles were out every afternoon in the back by the beach or swimming in the water. Easy access to anywhere for driving since it's in the middle of the island.

Beautiful place. Perfect location.

This being our 1st non-traditional vacation booking, I was anxious and uncertain about the process. Leslie made everything so easy with her comprehensive and timely communication. The unit was a great size for my wife, our two 10 y/o girls, and Grandma. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, lanai were all pristine and stocked with anything you might need for your arrival. A binder and a board with places to see and recommendations for dining were so helpful. The location, 15 minutes from the airport and 2 minutes from the harbor, was ideal for exploring any part of the island. Such a wonderful experience for our family. Huge thanks to Leslie!

Leslie was great to work with. She responded quickly to any questions I had. The unit is nice and was everything we needed. The bed in the master is amazing and we slept great!The AC in the living room is awesome and we actually had to turn it down. The one in the master bedroom never seemed to really cool off that room enough. The room is around the corner from the living room and doesn't really get the air from the living room. Thankfully, there are ceiling fans. There is also a fan in the closet which I pulled out and used that made it bearable. From other reviews, we were hoping to snorkel right out front with our kids, but that was not possible. The waves were too big when we were there and visibility looked to not be good. We used this place as a based camp and it was great for that. When we came back later in the day or night, parking spot is right there, easy to get in and out. We would go spray off the sand at the showers by the pool and then go swimming. The pool is small but amazing. We loved it! It was a great finish to our days.

Everything your looking for

When we look for a vaca property we try to think of our most important conveniences. This place checks every box on those items such as a great host with good timely communication, cozy, good sized beds, views, room for a family to enjoy space without being too crowded. We traveled with 2 adult kids, 1 young teen and my husband and myself. We enjoyed the master bedroom space, full kitchen, keurig, lots of extra pillows and blankets, bedspreads, pull out sofa, extra towels, 2nd bedroom and bathroom. 10 day stay and everything we needed. Perfect... Just bring some earplugs for the night because winds can be loud on occasion. We saw turtles often and a whale with its calf breaching almost daily in the middle of Maalaea Bay! That was an amazing trip of a lifetime. Mahalo!

Amazing get away - just what we needed!

This is an amazing location and the condo was perfect. The view was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the stars and hearing the waves. Very nice!

We stayed three nights in this condo and it fit our needs perfectly. As soon as I walked on the balcony, I saw turtles right in front of the condo. Every time we sat out there, we saw turtles...fantastic! We picked this condo to be close to the airport, Maalaea Harbor, where we were taking a snorkeling trip and the proximity to the Road to Hana. We walked to the harbor for dinner one night and drinks another night. Plenty of towels and beach items. Although we wished our stay in Maui was longer, we loved it! Mahalo!

Wonderful Beach Condo!

We loved our stay on Maui in this condo! You are right on the beach, and wake to beautiful sunsets every morning. Each evening from the balcony we saw sea turtles close to the shore. The condo was updated and as clean as can be. There were several beach chairs, towels, and equipment for use. We were close to the aquarium and in the middle of the island for easy driving to different towns. The air conditioner is only in the living room, but it stayed cool enough when we had the windows open.. And could hear the waves at night. The kitchen is fully equipped. The owner was wonderful to work with as well. No complaints, just rave reviews from us!

Turtles and Whales, the view...oh my!!

We absolutely loved our stay in Maalaea at Island Sands. We were a group of 5 with a couple, two teenagers and my Mother, we fit nicely in the property and found the location perfect for us to access the island. The condo is clean and nicely designed and we spent hours each day at dawn and dusk watching whales and turtles right outside our door. The beach nearby was quiet and perfect for the family and the pool was nice for quiet afternoons and BBQ meals. Leslie was fantastic! We had a few issues that were fixed very quickly and with exceptional service, she took care of us, even providing us another optional condo space while we waited for our flight home. We rented bikes from South Maui Cycle and toured a lot of the island from the condo, the location is perfect to access all the main arteries and we were able to walk to the marina for our trip on the water. You definitely need a car, parking was allocated and the property is taken care of. We had heard that it was windy but we had only light winds and saw many paddle boarders in front of the condo everyday. We recommend heading toward Kihei and joining the outrigger canoe club for a morning paddle, it was one of our favourite things to do! Book it and go!

Unit was perfect for our party (two couples). Central location. Beautiful view and saw sea turtles from lanai every day. Reserved parking space a plus. Kitchen was well stocked. AC unit only in living room, but ceiling fans in bedrooms and trade winds kept unit comfortable. Would definitely return.

Perfect location & Immaculate unit...

Unit is great!! Just as described on VRBO. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Interior finishes are quality and oceanfront location is ideal. Been coming to Maui for years and have already booked our return trip later in the year.
