I stayed with my family, everything worked fine, I was a little confused on how certain things worked and had to communicate with the host on certain things. He was able to clarify it for me quickly and very understanding about it. I had no issues it was safe and great place to take a vacation.

We had an amazing stay at Tom’s house! The home was beautiful, extremely comfortable, spacious, and cozy. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel at home.The pool was excellent! We really enjoyed spending time outside and relaxing by the pool. The air conditioning was also outstanding and kept the entire house perfectly cool, especially after being out in the Florida heat.Tom was an excellent host with great communication. He was responsive, helpful, and made everything easy from beginning to end.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay at Tom’s house again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay!

The house was very nice. The only issue was the living room sliding door, but the maintenance guy fixed it right away. The pool was so much fun, the bedrooms were very nice. We had a great time.Thank you Tom for letting us rent the house!

Directions and instructions received prior to arrival were excellent and easy to follow.On arrival we found the rooms had all been cleaned to a good standard , with plenty of towels available in each room.Each bathroom had a small soap and one toilet roll , enough for your first night in the villa.Kitchen was well equipped and had dish towels provided.One issue we had was with the dishwasher, however when contacting the owner he explained that it was temperamental and explained how we could get it working and mentioned that he would be looking to replace it due to its age.The living areas were good with a large TV.There are some marks on the carpet , however this is where you come in from the pool , so it’s understandable , however some people may think that it needs replacing.The patio door to the pool is an issue and difficult to open but the owner is aware.Bedrooms and bathrooms were ok with adequate supplies of sheets and towels , the window blinds in the master bathroom were faulty and prevented privacy from the outside pool area. The owner was made aware of this and he offered to have it repaired, but we didn’t see it as a huge problem and told him not to worry about it for us.Pool area was good and well looked after , with four sun loungers but only two have cushions.Listing shows a barbecue available , however we couldn’t find one , so perhaps the listing needs a little update.We didn’t use the pool table in garage so can’t comment.

As a family of four, we had a wonderful vacation here. The villa looks just like it does in the photos. It’s very spacious and extremely clean. It’s a 25-minute drive from the Disney parks. The neighborhood is also very quiet. Our interactions with Tom were pleasant and positive. He responds quickly to questions or comments. Good value for money. Not overly luxurious, but a great base for a family vacation.

Very clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Communication was excellent. Self-catering should be stated in the booking description. Sliding doors in family room go off track and need some attention. Would happily stay here again!

Upon check in we immediately noticed several problems. Large stains on the carpet, a broken toilet seat (with a note from the previous occupants asking it to be fixed), the jacuzzi only half working, bug splats on the wall and a temperamental dishwasher. When we tried to ask the host for advice about the broken jacuzzi he was extremely defensive and confused. Responded with 'our maintainance company are the best' and 'you haven't asked for a heated pool' despite us politely saying several times we hadn't asked for heat, just the bubbles to work. The maintainance company came and sorted the carpets. The toilet seat was temporarily fixed but then broke again within a day. The sliding doors are also still an issue, which I've seen raised in other reviews. The villa has the potential to be lovely with some TLC, unfortunately for us, the host was rude and defensive when we contacted him for support. We decided to reach out to vrbo which he obviously didn't like because he lied and said we broke a pool net and left glass all over the floor. Both of which are completely untrue. Luckily for us we have photo evidence of it all and a video of the villa as we left. Vrbo have read our messages and seen the photos and videos we took and offered us compensation as apology for the inconvenience. I'd also raise the listing is outdated and several amenities are missing - ice machine, bbq, air hockey, table tennis net, and there isn't 8 sunbeds.

To provide background, we found this guest extremely difficult to communicate with from the very start of the process. It was clear that she wanted a free vacation/holiday through compensation. Our reviews over almost 8 years can all be seen in this section and should support this. The guest failed to acknowledge check in instructions despite repeatedly being sent them. We have an extremely trusted management company who we’ve worked with for the aforementioned 7 years- contrary to the guest claiming ‘lies’ in this review, our full report states the glass was left on departure and that the pool nets had been broken. In addition, our pool tech and management company both confirmed that the guests had tried to continuously run the spa jets, despite them supposedly not working- this caused a temporary (now fixed) algae issue with the water which has been treated. I would be happy to show this departure report on request, as stated to VRBO who were supportive of our stance on two separate calls. Admittedly, we had a stained carpet by the AC vent. It was August, extremely hot and AC unit working hard! This was seen to by management immediately, as with everything we do to ensure a positive guest experience (reflected in our reviews) I would urge anybody reading this to continue reading the reviews (on VRBO and elsewhere). This has been our first unfortunate experience in a long, long time of hosting. It was clear from the start what the guest was trying to achieve, sadly.

Great place to stay

Have stayed on this estate for years its so peaceful and its gated so you feel safe as soon as you arrive. The home has every thing you will need to make your stay feel like you have been here before so relaxing. Pool area is just what you need when you return from the parks. would recommend whole heartedly will no doubt go back

Great Location

The villa is in a great location in a gated community. It’s very spacious with a lovely pool area & was ideal for our family. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived & Tom was quick to answer any questions we had.

As always Tom was a great host, gave us all the information we needed and amended our booking quickly for us. Set in a lovely quiet neighbourhood away from the noise of the main strip. Only lost a star due to the villa needing some well deserved TLC such as fixing blinds and in need of a very deep clean such as fans covered in thick dust and loungers by pool had seen much better days. Overall great place as always.

We had a pleasant stay at this house. We had a slight hiccup upon arrival with the key code but Tom was very responsive to messages and we got it resolved in a few minutes and were let in. The house was as described in the listing and photos. It was clean when we arrived. It is a bit plain and simple with minimal extras. The pool guy came to clean the pool on day two which would have been fine if he didn’t have to shock it and we couldn’t use it for 24 hours. Hot tub took a good while to get warm but did get used through the stay. The pics in the listing are from ten years ago and the house has some wear and tear but nothing that hot in the way of our stay. My only real gripe is that there weren’t too many towels around the house, the linens on the beds were very cheap and we had to buy every last incidental thing like dish soap and kitchen trash bags. The kitchen was also lacking a bit.

Great house

This house was beautiful. We had an amazing time there for a week. The pool and hot tub were much needed after a day at Disney or Universal. The location is about 30 minutes from Disney and 45 from Universal. Tons of shopping near by and my family had an amazing time. We would definitely come back to this house if given the chance.

Family holiday

Lovely home good location for access to parks this wa our third visit to davenport last visit in 2009 a lot of changes in the area for the better. A lot of work happening at the back of the property didn't spoil our stay.

There is a pipeline being installed under the conservation area at the rear of the villa prior to replanting of trees foliage etc. This has been mostly completed and is due to finish early 2017.

Perfect location

Had a great holiday at this lovely villa, very clean with a perfect south facing pool for all day sunshine, this villa is an excellent location for all the parks restaurants and large supermarkets. also on a gated community so giving that extra feel of safety, Thank You Tom for you help with any questions we had. If you want a great holiday villa look no further, Hope to be back in the future.
