A Vacation to Remember

This was a most enjoyable experience. The beds were extremely comfortable with high quality linens. The pool was right outside our patio door. The kitchen was well stocked and the management company was very accommodating. Thanks for making everything so easy for us. I have used VRBO for many years and will continue to do so.

Great Location and very clean!

We would stay here again. Unit was fantastic. Super clean and well equipped (does need bbq Utensils though). Bedrooms were all large and beds was so comfy. Walking distance to beach and coligny plaza - could not beat the location. We went in March and the pool was much too cold to swim in, as it’s not heated. Other than that, great vacation. We would return and recommend this place.

Excellent place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. The place was clean. The drawers in the primary bathroom were broken, but there was still plenty of storage. The 3rd floor bedroom stairs cool with the shades drawn and fans on. Close to the beach, and coligny, quiet. Love the courtyard and pool. Wish there was a vacuum cleaner. Kitchen floor was dirty when we arrived.
Antwort von VrboOwner am 11. Mai 2022
Hi Teresa. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate your feedback regarding cleanliness and will make sure to discuss with our cleaners. Also, all of the 3rd floors at Surf Court are difficult to cool. We recommend drawing the shades and cranking the fans to increase air flow!

Family Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience at Surf Court 74. The home was comfortable and there was plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 kids to stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and the full size washer and dryer in the unit were perfect. We loved having the pool right outside the back patio and the walk to the beach was super easy and a lot shorter than we expected. One thing to note is that there are no bathtubs in the unit - just two showers. It was no big deal but if we had known we would have planned ahead and packed a little tub for the baby!It was hard to get the top level comfortable without freezing out the bottom level since there is only one A/C unit for all three levels - so pack a sweatshirt for hanging out in the living room. All in all we would definitely stay here again.

This unit recently sold and the new owners have supplied the condo with a small tub that can be used for bathing infants along with some other decorative items. The tub is stored in one of the closets inside the condo. FYI.

Surf Court 74

WE had a great stay at Surf Court 74. We vacation in Hilton Head a few times a year and this was my first time at Surf Court. You cannot beat the location - walk across the street and there is a pathway to the beach. My teenager and his friend stayed on the middle level and shared a bathroom and I was on the top floor in the master. My only "negative" comment is that the air conditioning cools the middle level and ground floor very well but the the top floor, is definitely much warmer. They had a fan in the closet that I was able to use, but I would imagine in the summer months, the upper floor could be very warm. I did not call to check on it so in all fairness, it could have been something wrong with the system, or maybe even user error. Since it was just in the high 70's/low 80's - I made it work! Overall, great unit, beds very comfortable, kitchen well stocked! All of the things you need for a great beach vacation. The management company was also very responsive to questions prior to my vacation. Thank you Surf COurt 74 for a great week!

Great location, homey

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at HHI, as always! This is an ideal location in a nicely maintained complex. What we loved:- Location!- Spacious- Great size washer and dryer- The unit is right next to the pool.- Well stocked kitchen What needs some attention:- There is no vacuum! By the end of our stay I was so grossed out by the stuff the broom leaves behind.- I’m not sure the dish washer works. - The vanities are destroyed. The upstairs one is not even really functional.- yes, it is hot upstairs. It would be great if there was another fan.- It is in need of a deep clean.- There is nothing for babies— pack and play, highchair. I’ve never stayed in a rental that didn’t have them. Seashore provided a company to rent through but it was very expensive!Overall, it was a fantastic trip and a nice unit. We would stay here again but there are things that need to be addressed.

Great place! Needs a few details fixed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the Condo. We will use it again but it does have some issues. The 3rd floor needs its own air conditioner. We ran 3 fans and it was still warm. Downstairs was freezing and 3rd floor was almost hot. We luckily are not hot natured people and did ok. The owners cabinets had been opened and could not be shut. 3rd floor bathroom drawers will almost fall out on the floor. Seems something might be broken and needs repair. The vacuum in condo need to be replaced. We cleaned it out but it made a big mess if you used it.
Antwort von VrboOwner am 5. Aug. 2026
Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Surf Court 74 and that you'd stay with us again! After reading your review, our team inspected the items you mentioned. The owner's cabinet has since been properly secured. We'll also be checking the vacuum after our current guest departs, as no other guests have reported an issue with it, but we'll replace it if needed. The bathroom vanity drawers on the upper floor are something we've been monitoring, and we agree they are reaching the point where replacement is the best long-term solution. Regarding the third floor temperature, this is unfortunately a characteristic of all of the two and three story Surf Court villas during the hottest summer months. We provide fans and recommend closing the first-floor vents to help direct more cool air upstairs, but the third floor can still be noticeably warmer than the lower levels. We appreciate you mentioning it, as it provides helpful feedback for the owner as they consider future improvements. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay overall and look forward to welcoming you back to Hilton Head!

Great location and pleasant stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo has plenty of seating in den which has been an issue in the past with 6 people. All beds were very comfy. First floor so literally steps from the pool. Nice grassy area for kids to run around. Not far from beach as the access is directly across from the complex. Condo was on a good and quiet location. The only issue was the top floor is the master and it was warmer than the rest of the unit. Not sure if there is a way to draw the cooler air up from the other floors since they had to be kept cooler to ensure enough air at the top. Also warning the stairs are really narrow and there are lots of them. Overall loved our unit and there were no problems at all.
