Apartment in the center of Barcelona

It was great stay. The location is perfect. Walkable to almost all of attractions. Metro and multiple restaurants are also close. The apartment is clran and had everything that you need.

Comfort and very good Location

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay for one month. It had all the comforts of home. I walked around many neighbourhoods but I think this area around the Avinguda Gaudi is one of the best. It is a pedestrianized street with many restaurants, cafes, patisseries and markets. The windows offer no views but that was not a problem as we left early and came back late. Many evenings we enjoyed sitting outside taking in the street atmosphere of Barcelona. We had hired a car for 2 weeks to sightsee around Catalonia. The secure parking garage was one block away and also easy access to the motorway. With the Metro across the street, it is a perfect location. My husband and I thank Neus and Elisenda for their help when needed and making us feel so welcome in the apartment and to Barcelona.

As you said, the apartment is ideally located, close to Avinguda Gaudí, near to Sagrada Familia and Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site.There are many shops, supermarkets and restaurants close to the apartment. The flat is always very clean and comfortable for our guests.We also are always available to give advice about Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain or the flat. Something really comfortable is that the subway is just 2 minutes across the street. Lourdes and Christopher were a really good guests, we recommend them. Of course, they can come whenever they want to Barcelona.

Fantastic location, lovely and fully equipped condo.

This condo has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with utensils and dishes should one wish to cook. There is a washer and dryer which is very convenient. Having Wi-Fi is a plus. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment is extremely quiet. At times we wondered if we were the only occupants of the building! The building and neighborhood are safe and the convenience of the location cannot be overstated. We walked everywhere or traveled on the metro which is directly across the street from the apartment. We felt that we were part of the neighborhood rather than tourists and that is a wonderful way to experience a new city. The hosts are helpful and respond quickly to all our concerns and questions. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Barcelona.

Safety Concerns

We just returned from a stay at this place in Barcelona (late June, early July, 2018). This apartment is unquestionably well-situated. The manager, Elisenda, is extremely kind and helpful. The place is right near the metro, St.Pau (which is stunning), and minutes from Sagrada Familia. However, as others have noted, it is quite claustrophobic. We thought an interior apartment would be ok, as we have rented them elsewhere and had good experiences, but this really did have a tight feeling (for 4 days, anyway- maybe 1 or 2 nights would have been ok). Additionally, we have real concerns about the safety of the place. As others noted, the shower is very tight. Though my husband is a smaller man at 5'7" and in good shape, he too found it quite uncomfortable. On our last day there, he had a terrible accident in the bathroom that could quite easily have been life-threatening. Because the bath mat was simple cloth, he did a complete slip when he utilized it coming out of the shower, and had a hard fall on the floor, giving both of us quite a scare. We did advise Elisenda, so I assume they will invest in a rubber bottomed mat with traction, so this doesn't happen to anyone else. The fall could have had tragic consequences had he hit his head, which he did not. Also, the confined space and lack of fire alarms (at least that we could see) made us wonder where one could possibly go in the event of an emergency as the windows are a few floors off the ground, narrow and only facing what appears to be an enclosed alleyway. While we hate to hurt anyone's business (particularly where they seem to be very kind), we are surprised they were licensed at all and will make our concerns known to VRBO. I would never be able to forgive myself if someone got hurt in this place.

In reference to your comments about the security of the apartment, you can be absolutely calm. As you can see in the webpage, we have an official license. So, of course, we keep to all the legal requirements. The apartment itself is little, so the bathroom and the shower are little, too. We are planning to remodel the bathroom, in the future, and we will change the shower for another one bigger than this. I am sorry about the accident of your husband, fortunately, nothing happens to him. And, it was the first time that somebody had an accident like this in the bathroom. As I told you, we are going to change the mat for a rubber bottomed mat. And the last, but the most important thing, we take all your opinions seriously, especially about security, so we have bought fire alarms and it will be installed nearly. Schöne Ferienwohnung in sehr guter Lage

Die Ferienwohnung liegt direkt gegenüber von einer U-Bahn Station. Dies ist wirklich super praktisch, da man sich so in Barcelona schnell fortbewegen kann. In unmittelbarer Umgebung findet man viele Supermärkte, Restaurants und kleine Souvenirläden. An unserem Anreisetag wartete Elisenda schon vor dem Haus auf uns. Sie ist wirklich sehr nett und ist jeder Zeit bereit auf Fragen per WhatsApp zu antworten. Sie hat uns beispielsweise super Restaurantempfehlungen gegeben. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das einzig etwas negative ist, dass die Wohnung etwas dunkel ist, da die Fenster alle zu einem Hinterhof gerichtet sind. Das bedeutet, dass man eigentlich immer das Licht anschalten muss (egal welche Uhrzeit). Außerdem sind die Wände etwas dünn, oftmals konnte man die Nachbarn reden hören. Die Ferienwohnung ist für einen Städtetrip wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. Wir würden diese Ferienwohnung bei einer weiteren Reise nach Barcelona nochmal buchen.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei guter Betreuung

Die Wohnung ist sauber, funktional eingerichtet mit gutem Bett und kompletter Küche; zur Regulierung des Klimas steht eine Klimaanlage und ein Ventilator zur Verfügung. Damit eignet sich die Wohnung recht gut für einen Kurzurlaub, wenn die Ansprüche nicht zu hoch sind. Elisenda ist eine prima Vermieterin, die Kommunikation hat problemlos und zeitnah geklappt. Und die Lage ist super mit der U-Bahn vor der Tür. Einziger Nachteil aus unserer Sicht ist die innenliegende Lage der Wohnung. D. h. hinter den Rollos verbergen sich zwar Fenster, aber sie führen auf einen Schacht; die nächste Wand ist einen Meter entfernt. Damit kommen weder frische Luft noch Licht in die Wohnung; diesen Aspekt hatten wir unterschätzt. Wer damit klar kommt, für den ist diese Wohnung ideal. Vielen Dank!

Great apartment

Central location. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see although transit was very close if we needed. Grocery and fruit stores were plentiful on the street and around the corner as were restaurants/cafes. The apartment was comfortable with a real dryer and large fridge. Fresh air circulation was not the best but the fan and cooling unit helped.

Casa perfetta ma.....

Mie moglie ed io abbiamo passato 10 gg. in questa casa e posso dire che e' veramente perfetta per una vacanza, la fermata del metro' e' a dall'altra parte della strada, un supermercato aperto fino alle 23.00 sotto casa, nel giro di 2 Km ci sono ristoranti, (da scartare quelli con insegne con disegnata la paella)bar con brioches, dolci per la prima colazione, bar per il dopo cena, la Sagrada Familia a meno di 5 minuti a piedi. E se poi hai bisogno c'e' Elisenda la padrona di casa che con la sua gentilezza e la conoscenza della citta' e' sempre pronta con un SMS a rispondere a tutte le domande.E allora perche' casa perfetta ma..... .... l'unico neo se si puo' chiamarlo cosi' e' che la casa ha finestre solo su un lato e non ha nessuna vista perche' chiusa da un muro. Ma si va in vacanza per vedere la citta' e divertirsi o per stare a casa?Quindi anche se un po' buia e' una casa perfetta

Great Location - Would Recommend

My husband & I recently stayed for 6 nights in this apartment. We found the owner to be very responsive to our emails before our stay and while we were at the apartment. There was someone waiting for us when we arrived and a taxi was arranged as requested for our departure. The location is great as it is just across from the Metro station, within walking distance to Sagrada Familia and Avenue Gaudi. We enjoyed the location as it wasn't as busy as you would find around La Rambla but really easy to get everywhere you needed to go. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was comfortable, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. My husband wanted to mention that there was no natural light and the shower stall was very small - I pointed out that we knew these things before we rented the apartment but he still wanted to mention it so there you have it. I would recommend this apartment if you're planning a trip to Barcelona.

Lovely little appartment

Thanks Elisenda & Neus for your welcoming. Apartment was very clean & nicely decorated. The location couldn't be better a cross the street you have the metro, a little coffee shop,a supermarket, a hairdresser and by the entrance of the apartment a little veg & fruit shop (the products are very tasty) and a little authentic little Spanish bar, just to name few close by and you are just within 3 mins walk into a restaurants area You are also only 5 mins walk to the beautiful Sagrada Familia Basilica and 30-40 mins walk to the Ramblas. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

Tal como lo indica el título, el piso es ideal para recorrer Barcelona, justo enfrente está una línea de metro, igual que una parada de autobuses, dos líneas de metro adicionales se encuentran a corta distancia. En sus alrededores se pueden encontrar una infinidad de bares, restaurantes y supermercados. El Hospital San Pau y La Sagrada Familia están muy muy cerca. El piso es ideal para parejas ya que es pequeño pero muy limpio y agradable, con todos los servicios necesarios. Elisenda es un amor, muy amable y siempre atenta a responder cualquier duda. Con toda seguridad si regreso a Barcelona repetiría mi estancia allí. Muy recomendable

Wonderful!

The apartment was perfect. Elisenda allowed us to check in on our own schedule, and was very accommodating. The apartment was walking distance to Sagrada Familia, and Avenue Gaudi- a pedestrian street with lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. We walked nearly everywhere, the beach, Las Arenas--all of which are accessible from the apartment if you don't mind a nice walk. The metro station is right outside the door, which we took to places such as Parc Guell, and it was very affordable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat when visiting Barcelona.

perfetto per un weekend a Barcellona

Unico difetto sono le piccole finestre che danno su un muro e quindi le stanze sono buie ma tanto Barcellona è così bella che si torna giusto per dormire. Il condominio e la zona sono molto tranquilli. L'ospitalità di neus ed elisenda e' perfetta. Ottimo!

Paola Ciao, grazie per il vostro feedback, l'appartamento è situato in un quartiere eccellente, di fronte alla metro e pulito. E 'vero che un appartamento interno, nel frattempo, è molto calmo e tranquillo, questo è apprezzato dopo aver visitato la città durante il giorno di riposo e il sonno.

Small, cozy apartment

We loved our stay in this apartment. The place was small (especially the shower stall) but it was very clean. The subway, cafe, and grocery store are just across the street. It is walking distance to a lot of restaurants, and of course, the Sagrada Familia. We don't think it is a 5 minute walk, but still a comfortable walk. We loved the small bottle of sparkling wine and cookies. Nice touch. My friend met with Elisenda and she had some difficulty communicating with her which ended in us taking a veeerry cold shower that night. We didn't want to message Elisenda as it was late, but she and Neus promptly replied to our other messages. We figured out how to heat the water the next day. I would recommend this place.

Departamento totalmente completo y muy tranquilo en excelente barrio

Excelente estadia en el apartamento de Neus y Elisenda. Esta muy bien equipado y en un hermoso barrio con comercios y bares excelentes. Para aquellos que gustan de viajar por metro tiene una boca de Metro exactamente en frente. Elisenda y Neus son muy buena onda y te recomiendan que hacer o donde comer en Barcelona. Todo esta excelente tal cual se ve en las fotos.Realmente uno se siente como en su propio apartamento. Esperamos volver pronto!

Cozy apartment

We spent a week in Barcelona. The apartment was everything we needed. Apartment clean, well-kept. The owner takes care of the details, there were a lot of cute trinkets. We felt right at home. Another advantage is the location of the apartment, there all is not far. Place definitely recommendable. Elisenda Thank you for your hospitality and a lot of help, he turned to us :)

Salve! Elisenda è stata molto precisa e dettagliata.L'appartamento è decisamente in una posizione strategica peccato che è un pò piccolino per tre e manca la luce durante il giorno.Molto curato l'arredamento, pulito e attrezzato con tutto quello che può servire. In effetti, l'appartamento è scarsamente illuminata e dispone di 36 metri quadrati, ma degno di nota per la buona posizione (5 minuti dalla Sagrada Familia e prima del sottopassaggio), molto pulito e ben attrezzate e offrire attenzione personalizzata e dettagliata. Inoltre, è molto tranquillo e rilassante. Sarete sempre i benvenuti a Barcellona. Cordiali saluti, Elisenda.

Ottima posizione!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo monolocale dal 17 al 23. L'appartamento è accogliente e ha tutto il necessario, adatto per un massimo di tre persone. Posizione ottima, vicinissima alla Sagrada Familia e all'ospedale vecchio! Uniche note: divano letto non proprio confortevole e mancanza di luce naturale

Dieses Haus ist so besonders, dass es in zentraler Lage (5 Minuten von der Sagrada Familia) und vor der U-Bahn ist, müssen nur die Straße zu überqueren. Etwas, das sehr komfortabel, um die Stadt zu sehen ist.
Es ist ein kleines Studio, das sehr ruhig (viel Stille) und einladend ist.
