Das Hotelapartment im klassischen Florentiner Stil mit Holzbalkendecken mit Holzbalken und Terrakottaboden besteht aus einem Wohnzimmer, einer Küche, einem Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett (mit der Möglichkeit, es in zwei Einzelbetten umzuwandeln) und einem Badezimmer.

Great Location

Lorenzo was very welcoming and gave us a great rundown of the area and the amenities in the apartment. Living right next door meant that he was available at anytime should we need. The location was very central to museums, the duomo and shopping. The Santa Maria Novella station was about 20 minutes walk away but with everything within walking distance we only needed to go there when going to Pisa and Venice. The apartment could do with a little maintenance and a good clean.

Florence avec Lorenzo le meilleur des monde.

Situé à quelques minutes à pieds du Duomo, ce mignon petit appartement est bien situé, coquet, fonctionnel et le propriétaire Lorenzo est le voisin de palier. Un proprio consciencieux, affable, prévenant, d’une grande gentillesse et toujours prêt à aider. Je recommande cet appartement pour une personne ou un couple ou deux amis car le lit ouvrant du salon est confortable.

Firenze on a budget

Nicely located apartment is an easy 10 minute walk from the Duomo, Uffizi and Accademia galleries. Sits just far enough from the city center to avoid tourist crowds but close enough to be easily accessible to points of interest. Area shops and restaurants are authentic Florence. Owner provided some excellent recommendations. We visited during a severe heatwave and the owner did provide a couple of fans to help with the heat. But needed to open the windows when we couldn't cool off enough with just the fans. No screens on the windows so we then had to chase out a few bugs. May not have been a problem if the weather were cooler. The apartment could also use a good cleaning.

Small, charming, well located apartment

This is a wonderful apartment for a stay in Florence. Host is accommodating and friendly...allowed us to check in early so we could return a rental car without penalty. Excellent location, and a real value for the price. Hard to complain about not having a view when taking a few steps outside allows you some of the most stunning scenery in Italy. Only complaint is that (like most Italian rental properties) bathroom is small and shower is tiny.

WOW ! What a GREAT LOCATION !

Lorenzo's apartment is only a five minute walk from the Duomo ! It is a spacious, well decorated apartment, with a well equipped kitchen. Lorenzo greeted us with a smile and had a bottle of wine waiting for us. He is a very kind and friendly gentleman. The property was nicely located for walking to main attractions. It was comfortable. Our landlord was very helpful on taxis, eating, and local information to make our stay a success. I would stay again in a heart beat. Tea and bottled water were there for us. Comfy and clean.

SO convenient!

Laura Holiday House was our first stop in Italy. It was so easy to find our way around from this charming apartment. Perfect for one or two people! It has all the amenities you will need for your stay. It is clean and has a good-sized, comfortable living/dining/kitchen area. Just a few blocks from Il Duomo. We were greeted and shown how everything works, which was very helpful. I would recommend this for people who love being near the action but not right in the center of it. Quiet at night and bustling during the day. Thank you, Lorenzo!

A Four Minus Star Rating Because of Heating Situation

Positives - Clean. Spacious. Convenient location yet Quiet. Equipped with almost everything we might need. Comfortable and private. Very Friendly, accommodating owner right next door - our only neighbor. Quaint and Charming apartment. Authentic Florence feel. Good bathroom w bidet. Comfortable bed. Map of city on table. Tour booklets available. Good security. Adequate hot water. Good bathroom lighting. On first floor. Negatives - View was tiny, cement courtyard surrounded by building - very utilitarian looking. Tiny shower. No hanging closet for clothes. Little sunlight. Heat does not go on until Nov 1!!!! Apartment got very chilled when we were there in later October. We had to use the stove for heat while we were in kitchen to watch over it - never a good idea, though. Hall lighting at apartment level could be improved.

We enjoyed our stay here. Lorenzo allowed us to check in early, and met us with the keys promptly when we arrived. He also gave us eating recommendations that were very good, and arranged a taxi for our early morning departure! We had everything we needed. The only thing I would have liked to have was some small wash cloths. Wash cloths must not be used in Italy, because none of the places we stayed had them. It wasn't a big deal at all, but I personally like having them. Also, having a washing machine was nice, but it just takes time for the clothes to dry without a dryer. I know space is an issue- again, not a big deal. The pros of staying here far outweigh these small things. I would stay here again!

Comfortable and central

The apartment was in a great location for exploring the city with lots of nice cafes, bakeries and restaurants close by. The apartment itself was clean and spacious enough for a couple. Lorenzo was a welcoming host. He met us at the apartment to show us around. The small touches were very appreciated, especially 2 fans and plug in mosquito repellants.

GREAT

Lorenzo was s welcoming host and was able to accommodate us on short notice when our travel plans changed. He met us at the apartment and gave us directions to sightseeing and restaurants. Lauraholidayhouse is clean and comfortable and right in the heart of Florence. Lorenzo was a wonderful host and made us feel at home. Es una muy buena opcion quedarse en casa de Lorenzo. Además de ser una persona muy atenta y dispuesta a dar toda la informacion y ayuda necesaria, la casa está muy bien. Tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar, dormir, bañarse...la situación es esplendida (muy cerca del centro histórico) y a la vez, tranquilo, silencioso y muy acojedor. Repetiríamos sin duda. Muy buena opción para ir andado desde la estacion de tren Santa Maria Novella, 10 minutos a pie.

Very good accomodation

Our host Lorenzo made us feel welcome during the entire stay in our home away from home in Florence. The apartment was exactly as pictured and was as clean, cozy and welcoming as we had hoped! The location was a short walk to all nearby sights and was reasonable quiet. We found it to be tidy, well equipt and was a perfect place to even host a small gathering of friends for dinner. It was a great economic alternative to a hotel and we looked forward to relaxing in our little retreat at the end of each day while visiting beautiful Florence!

A home away from home in the Heart of Florence

Lorenzo was able to assist in many facets even organising transport for us on our last day. Great location, close to everything and a quite, quaint street with minimarts, grocers and cafés close by.
