Hi Eric, as we pointed out to you when you asked about additional garbage bags, the house is rented on a self catering basis. It’s not a hotel. We supply you with a “starter” supply of all these things. And as you correctly state it was very unusual for us not to respond and the reason for that is that we did not get your message until an hour ago. After you had left. If it was urgent you could have called the management company or ourselves directly. As for adjusting the thermostat yes there is a PIN code but that is only in place when a user tries to adjust the cool below 72 or the heating above 85 to avoid damage to the system, but you can adjust it freely within these ranges. For 18 years we’ve never had a guest that was unable to adjust the system. Again if you had called the management company they would have assisted you but you didn’t. So we are very sorry that you felt you had to leave a lower star review as a result.

Thank you for your feedback which is very helpful. The refrigerator is only a few years old and was in full working order when we left in May so that's worrying. We are replacing the washer in September. Sometimes the guests move towels around the villa. I will ask cleaners to relocate them in one place and will add to our supplies in The Fall. No problems. This guest looked after our villa well and communication was good. No hesitation in renting to them again.
