Der "Palazzo" wurde um 1200 erbaut. Die Wohnung wurde vor 3 Jahren komplett renoviert, hat aber ihren alten Geschmack und Charakter behalten. Es verfügt über ein helles Wohnzimmer mit großen Sofas, einem Esstisch, einer möblierten Küche mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, französischer Presse und italienischer Kaffeemaschine. Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer mit großen Betten und 2 komplette Badezimmer (eines befindet sich neben dem Schlafzimmer und das andere direkt vor dem zweiten Schlafzimmer), einen kleinen Balkon, Klimaanlage in jedem Zimmer, Zentralheizung, kostenloses WLAN. Es befindet sich im 2. Stock, aber es gibt einen Aufzug (was in Florenz sehr ungewöhnlich ist). Die Dekoration ist eine Mischung aus antiken, ethnischen und modernen Stücken; Kunstbücher. Der Boden und die Decken sind aus Holz in zarten Pastellfarben. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind möbliert. Ich biete auch Kaffee, Tee, Zucker etc ...

Sie befinden sich direkt im Herzen von Santa Croce, 5 Gehminuten von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und eine Straße voller Cafés und netter Restaurants.

Es ist auch sehr ruhig. Guten Schlaf ist gesichert!

Wonderful home base in Florence. Great location to explore the city. The apartment had everything necessary for a comfortable and easy stay. Note the elevator is helpful but small. This isn’t a place to tote a ton of luggage but great if you’re traveling lightly.

The apartment is beautifully located between the Piazza Signoria and Santa Croce, within easy walking distance of the usual sites. (Like all sensible older people, we took a cab up to San Miniato and walked back down and another to a nice restaurant. Otherwise, we walked.) The elevator is small but useful for bags and groceries. The light in the morning is lovely. The kitchen has what one needs to cook simple meals (and there's a Conad store for tourist basics very close by), and we did cook pasta-ands-sauce a couple of evenings. The bathrooms are a decent size; the bed was comfortable. Our host, Marie, met us when we arrived and went over the keys and elevator. All very smooth.

Very assessable to city center historic sites. walk to Florence

Everything very close by, we used the hop on hop off bus to get around and to go up to the beautiful city of Fiesole and had lunch. The next day we had our own walking tour that we made up and we had a wonderful day. We also found very nice places to eat. We loved Florence!

Great Location

Enjoyed staying here. Very clean, quiet, and plenty of space. Central location to the historic sites. It was a bit of a walk from the train station but we managed. Would stay here again. If you reserve the property make sure you review how to get into the apartment with the host before arriving. It’s a rather involved process.

Charming Tuscany

The apartment was spacious and had a charming Tuscan flair. The kitchen was well equipped and a good size as,was the seating area. It was situated on a quiet residental street away from the rush of people and traffic, but easily within walking distance to all the historic sights. Lovely apartment. Centrally located. Great host.

Marie was so knowledgeable about the area and very accomodating with check-in/out, amenities, and general information. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, centrally located to reach the major sights in Florence but equally easy to get outside the "tourist bubble" from this spot. We stayed in this location with a group of four and it was perfect for that. Would definitely stay here again in any case. (Thanks for everything Marie!)

Perfect place and location

Our family of 4 loved this place. More than enough room for all of us . Tons of character and all of the amenities worked without one issue. A 2 minute walk to an amazing coffee shop with pastries. 10 minutes to the main square with tons of restaurants to choose from for a drink or longer stays. Our trip was somewhat busy but wish we stayed there longer. 2 thumbs up x 4 from us all! Loved it!!

A Great Location

My husband and I stayed in Marie's charming apartment for the month of September. Marie was amazing-she arranged for us to drop off our luggage before we could actually check in, oriented us to the apartment and was always available to answer any questions we had. The apartment was spacious, had excellent internet and was in a great location. We could quickly and easily get anywhere we wanted to go.

Charming flat, great location and lovely host.

I can’t say enough great things about this location and apartment. It is quiet and easy access to everything. I was in Florence a week before and stayed in the Savoy Hotel ( room was very small), and it was noisy at times. This apartment was so clean and spacious and very quiet. Close to grocery store, and steps away from cafes. Anytime I had a question Marie was very quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again. AC was good, in all areas of the home.

Wonderful in Florence

Marie arranged to meet us when we arrived from the train station, and explained every thing we needed to know. She was available throughout our stay, and even made the taxi reservation for our early in the morning departure. The apartment is large, pleasant, convenient and comfortable, near most sights, but slightly out of the way enough to be quiet at night. Everything was at least as good as described, if not better.

Perfect location with all the right stuff

What can you say about this place. Excellent location appointed all the right touches to make you feel right at home. There was a folder with recommendations which we used and they were great with restaurants and cafes. Marie was very communicative and excellent. It’s the perfect for 2 bed and 2 bath. AC was awesome for the summer weather of Florence. Would highly recommend it.

AMAZING STAY

Our apartment/flat in the Santa Croce district was even better than I imagined! Our owner, Marie, greeted us and made sure we knew where everything was and how everything worked in the apartment. We loved the decorating, the size of all the rooms, and the quaint neighborhood. We were within walking distance of EVERYTHING! A week in Florence is still not enough time to really experience the flavor. Ready to return:)

Lovely Apartment in Florence

The location was incredible. Easily walkable to everything in Florence and very comfortable. As others mentioned, along with the listing, it is on the fourth floor so be prepared to walk up some steps. There is a lift, but we did not use it. It was comfortable for 4 people with two full baths and two comfortable beds. Would definitely return!

Beautiful Apartment - Central Location

We enjoyed staying in this beautifully appointed apartment while in Florence. Marie is an interior designer and it shows in her well designed property. Marie was responsive to my questions. She was very flexible in meeting us and letting us drop off our luggage early. The apartment is in an ideal location. On a quiet street but within easy walking distance of everything that we wanted to see. This apartment is perfect for two couples traveling together. We had a wonderful time in Florence.

Pros: - Very quiet - Beautiful rooms and bathrooms - Love the showers - AC is fantastic and works great - Close to all the major sights - Elevator - Marie was so helpful and fantastic Cons: - gnats in the kitchen (brought it up to the owner and she was helpful in trying to remedy it) - Check in was incorrect on VRBO. I'm French and I have been living in Florence for a very long time (almost 30 years). I travel a lot both for my work and my vacations. I've tried to create a space that I'd myself like to find when I am away from home.I want it very clean because I always walk bare feet, i want it with all the comfort because I don't like washing the dishes, I want it quiet because I am on vacation, I want it nice because my home is nice! I speak French, english, italian and learning spanish because my eldest son leaves in Colombia. I couldn't leave without my yoga and my main interest are the oriental philosophies which have taught me a lot.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

The apartment is in the heart of the historical center, walking distance from everything:museums, shops etc..It is in a old palace built in 1200 but the apartment has completely renovated in June 2013 .There are 2 bedrooms with big beds, 2 attached bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room overlooking a garden.
it's in the medieval part of the city,so quiet that you cannot think you are 5 minutes away only from the pulsing heart of the city.

Until June 15, after each stay, the apartment will be cleaned with special detergents for a complete and accurate disinfection. The cleaning will be certified by a company specialized for COVID-19.
After June 15, if the situation comes back to normal, the same disinfection will be done in any case every 2 months.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

I have tried to make the house special, to give it some character, hoping that you'll remember it as a nice place where you've stayed when you were in Florence. There is all comfort: a lift (very rare in the old florentine buildings), wi-fi, TV ,stereo for i pod, A.C and the kitchen has washing machine, fridge, dish washer. You'll find art books from the main museums and I give you all my favourite places in order you can live as locals, avoiding tourist places. For the deco, I have mixed old pieces with new ones, photos from my travels and colors are soft and pastel in order they can meet everybody's taste. On the very small balcony, there are plants...I hope you will enjoy the house!
If you like it, I can help you in the organization of your stay. If you want to do yoga, or have italian cooking class, or organize private tours in the Chianti aerea, or go to a jewelry workshop to learn how to create your own jewels or go for truffle hunting .....just ask me, I will be happy to help you.

The Santa Croce area is very florentine but very touristic at the same time. In some streets you'll find thousand of tourists but then, just across the corner, you'll find the main food market where all locals go. you walk 10 min and you are in a different area with another character...
This area is very convenient because you can walk everywhere and it gives you the opportunity to really feel the flavor of the city.

There are all public transports very near.
