Apartment was in a great location close to the metro and bus network. It was clean on check in. The bed was really comfy and it was spacious for two people. Good storage space for two people.A few things to note were the overhead shower didn’t work properly and we had to use the handheld shower. Some of the mirror was broken in the bathroom with black tarp covering most of it. If you had the air conditioning on, it worked great but you could smell the damp which another review mentioned. There is a window but it opens directly onto a table for a nearby bar so we didn’t use it. Also a small note is that little pieces of the brickwork were falling off so if you walked close to the wall, I would advise shoes of some sort to not stand on it. Overall good place but could do with a little TLC.

Quirky place indeed.Location is within a busy popular dining street with noisy diners outside both nights we stayed.Lock on the front door is temperamental, needs attention.Overall property lacked finesse. One of the lounge chairs is clearly broken and should be removed.Bathroom is behind a heavy wall and is very cramped and dangerous. Broken mirror in bathroom needs replacing.Kitchen without a jug to boil for tea/coffee.

We knew the property was on a busy street when we booked it and was not worried about noise in the evening. However, the property had a strong smell of damp and this would only disappear if the two front doors were left open for some time. Unfortunately these doors had restaurant tables placed directly in front of them so it was not possible have them open all the time as there were tourists often sitting at them. We realised that the strong damp smell was because the air conditioning leaked a considerable amount through the ceiling when it was switched on. The leak actually caused one of our suitcases to be completely saturated with water leaving all of the clothes unwearable for the rest of the trip. The room is very warm and so a little unbearable without the air conditioning being on. The bathroom was also not up to standard. The large mirror behind the toilet was shattered and had on a thing bit of fabric covering it. The rain shower also didn’t function properly as it shot most of the water directly at the wall meaning you could only use the small shower head.

Amazing location!

The whole experience was super easy and enjoyable. The hosts were great communicators and very helpful with the check-in/check-out process. The location is priceless, surrounded by nice cafes and restaurants and not far from the water either. I am very grateful for their hospitality and will definitely book here again the next time I’m in Lisbon!

Pros: The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Location was great. Great local vibe while still being close to all the tourist destinations. Our flight was delayed and they were able to accommodate late night hours for us to get our keys when we arrived. They were communicative and kind, the place was stunning and so comfortable!

We did find the unit pretty easily and well position.Design of the place was really original and nice to leave in.We had so problem with the lighting system but nothing stress.

Good location

The location was very good for a city trip. However, it wasn‘t really clean and little parts of the wall fell down. It did smell in the room probably due to humidity and we couldnt open a window because there is only one straight to the street.

Perfect location

Green Street Lisbon Loft is in a great location very central. But the best thing was the proximity to lovely restaurants right at our door. In fact where we had dinner on our final night, we could have had the table that was outside our bedroom window. In saying that , the room wasn’t noisy at all. Very enjoyable stay. The only downside was the lighting with the room being a little dark.

Location

The location and convenience was the best part of the stay. Right when we opened the door we saw a big dead cockroach next to the wall. The arrangement of the furniture would have made the stay better. Had the bed right next to the door. No table to sit and eat. No where to put our bags except on the floor.

Pros: The location in a very nice street (green street) it was clean. Cons: You can hear everything from the road as it is on the ground floor and the isolation of the door and window is non-existent. The bathroom is very small and there is almost not enough water for 2 people to shower one after the other.

Best location! Impeccable property! Would definitely recommend

My partner and I stayed here and we had the best time. I don’t think you could get a better location, upon arrival we went for a stroll and within minutes ran into the Timeout Market, we were also within walking distance to a few restaurants we wanted to try! Being on Green Street is also such a unique vibe. The property looks just like the photos, it has a lot of character and everything works well from the inside. The street can be noisy at night but it makes up for it by being very quiet into the late morning. Elisabel was a great host and the communication was everything we needed, check in process was so simple as well. If you want a great property with excellent location, don’t hesitate to book this.

2 nights on Green St

It is a ground floor apartment, not a loft. The host has made great use of the space available, however it could be much better lit. Some of the lighting shown in the pictures is not working or missing. The location is great, and the street is beautiful with lots of cool restaurants and bars. Obviously this means that the flat can be noisy at night though, so be prepared! Sandra was also very accommodating and helpful!

Mediocre stay

Mediocre at best. Unfortunately the loft always smelled like mildew or mold upon entrance. Additionally there was a dead roach right at the entrance that appeared to be there a while. Furthermore, the loft is on a pretty busy road any has a restaurant directly outside so it can be noisy and you can hear conversations quite clearly. Was not a huge fan of the bathroom the soap dispenser was empty and not provided with enough towels since it seems like water goes everywhere. The pros were definitely the location we enjoyed being able to walk a couple minutes to dinner and breakfast, thankfully not super hilly either.

However, if you are missing anything, you can always contact the hostess, who will be happy to provide you with what you need to the best of her ability. In any case, shower gel and shampoo are not provided to guests. We take your comments very seriously, and have made sure to pass them on to the host for improvement. Location is great.

Pros: Location is walkable to everything. Lively area although evenings it gets loud as people are sitting right by your door. The place esthetically is good. Cons: The smell drove me up the wall. Loft looks nice but space in the bathroom isn't practical at all. Cannot use big shower if you don't like wet bathrooms. Poor circulation or air. Damp smell combined with sewage and food. Must always provide incense as it really is that bad. The cleaner showed up hours before check out time. Almost rushing us to get out. She stood outside the property asking my husband when we were leaving at every opportunity. The place like I mentioned looks esthetically and logistically pleasing. That's all that's going for this property. The wall in the shower is gone moldy and has chunk of hair. Also, first morning we ran out of hot water. Didn't happen again in the next few days.

Beware! Listing is misleading

Described as a 'Loft', definition - large adaptable open space, often converted for residential use - this is more a studio with an imaginative use of mirrors behind the bed on one wall & the chair on the other wall to convey space - it's pokey. The brightness in the pictures must be the use of an artistic photographer as it is very dark in reality making the apartment very depressing - there is only one lamp with a murky recessed lighting around the ceiling. The window next to the bed is in full view of the street, so unless you were hoping to do some red light district trade, making it virtually unusable especially when they put out tables on either side of it for the restaurant next door! There doesn't appear to be any power points on the marble kitchen island, the furniture is worn, cushion covers & bedding in need of a good clean as did the bathroom cabinet draws. The small bathroom is accessed by a Tomb of Lazarus pivot door. The front door has daylight coming through which would probably explain the noise issues previous reviewers have mentioned, as it offers no noise reduction to the popular street traffic - ear defenders needed. We were unfortunate as the previous week the authorities had sprayed cockroach killer in the street & we were warned to expect the odd dead cockroach in the apartment. So based on all of the above & after sleeping there for one night, we decided to go & get a hotel & had a lovely time in Lisbon. Please don't make the same mistake.

Für einen Städtetrip perfekt!

Diese Unterkunft hat für einen Städtetrip nach Lissabon eine perfekte Lage. In einer kleinen Gasse gelegen, in der Abends verschiedene Restaurants ihre Türen öffnen und man sitzt gemütlich in der Gasse, auch vor dem einzigen Fenster des Appartements. Das hat uns nicht gestört. Wir waren immer spät zu Hause und die Restaurants in dieser Gasse schließen um 23 h. Wir sind fast nur gelaufen. Man kann aber auch den Roller nehmen, Uber, Bus, Bahn, Fahrrad - alles ist möglich. Gutes Schuhwerk, Sportschuhe etc. ist sehr zu empfehlen.

In der Green Street, im März nicht zu laut, weil nicht zu voll. Nette Umgebung, tolle Lokale vor der Haustür, E28 Haltestelle in der Nähe. Wohnung sauber, kleines Bad, dafür gemütliches Bett.

Super zentral im Künstlerviertel

Pros: Das Loft ist sehr charmant, sehr zentral gelegen mit allem was man benötigt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr besonders. Außerdem kann man sehr gut abdunkeln, was uns super hat schlafen lassen. Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Kurzaufenthalt (2 Tage) in Lissabon. Die Kontaktperson Sandra ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt lief alles sehr unkompliziert und entspannt ab.

Wir können die Wohnung jeder Zeit empfehlen

Tolle Wohnung, tolle Lage, super nette Haushelferin. Leider ist die Kommunikation zur der Hausbesitzerin sehr schlecht. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben alles was wir brauchen. Das Badezimmer ist der Knaller.
