I replied right away asking for more information, requested a photo, and offered to have someone inspect the area around the A/C for any possible openings. Unfortunately, we never received a response from you despite following up several times, so we were unable to investigate or resolve the issue during your stay. At no point did you mention an unpleasant odor. Had you done so, we would have addressed that immediately as well. We work very hard to ensure every guest has a wonderful experience, and our reviews consistently reflect that commitment. We had several guests stay in the home before your visit, many of whom left very positive feedback, and some have already booked to return next year. One of the compliments we receive most often is how responsive we are whenever an issue arises. We genuinely want the opportunity to resolve any concerns our guests experience. However, that is only possible when there is communication. Without a response, we cannot investigate or fix a problem that has been reported. For future stays, we encourage you to communicate any concerns as they arise and respond when the host reaches out to help. That gives the host a fair opportunity to address the issue and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Hi Mark, thank you so much for staying with us. I’m not sure where you read about taking the trash. We actually asked you to put the trash on the garage. We have written introductions about that in our welcome book, and also I sent out an email as well prior to your state. We would never expect a guest to have to travel back with their own trash. Sorry if you misunderstood. I would’ve clarify if you actually text me and asked.
