Das Rectory Lacock, Familienunterkunft im Herzen von Lacock

Lenton ist das größere unserer beiden Cottages, das aus den ehemaligen ehemaligen Pfarrhäusern stammt. Es hat ein gewölbtes Dach im Wohn- / Essbereich und große Fenster, einschließlich Glastüren, mit Blick auf die Felder und Ställe. Das Lenton Cottage verfügt über ein Doppelzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett und ein zweites Schlafzimmer mit einem Truckle-Bett. Das Truckle-Bett bietet unseren Gästen ein Doppelbett und ein Etagenbett. Lenton Cottage bietet Platz für vier bis fünf Personen und ist ideal für ein Paar, eine junge Familie oder Geschäftsleute, die in der Umgebung arbeiten.

Das Lenton Cottage verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit einem Elektroherd und einem Herd, einem Geschirrspüler, einer Mikrowelle und einem Kühlschrank. Es gibt eine Nasszelle mit einer ansehnlichen Dusche, WC und Waschbecken. Alle Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind inklusive. Das Haus verfügt über WIFI-Zugang sowie TV und DVD-Player. Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett sind vorhanden. Es gibt Parkplätze vor Ort für ein Auto pro Hütte. Bitte beachten Sie: Für ein zusätzliches Fahrzeug wird je nach Verfügbarkeit und im Voraus vorab vereinbart, bei der Ankunft ein Aufpreis berechnet.

Das Cottage teilt sich eine eigene Terrasse und einen Garten mit Wheeler Cottage.

Das Rectory Lacock ist ein denkmalgeschütztes viktorianisches Gebäude aus dem Jahr 1866. Das Rectory befindet sich auf einem 6 Hektar großen Grundstück in Wiltshire und ist nur 2 Gehminuten vom Herzen des mittelalterlichen Dorfes Lacock entfernt.

Die beiden Ferienhäuser befinden sich auf dem Grundstück des Rectory, wo unsere Gäste die Privatsphäre ihrer eigenen Terrasse und eines separaten privaten Gartens haben, der ausschließlich unseren Hüttengästen zur Verfügung steht. Jedes Cottage verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer und alle Einrichtungen, die unsere Gäste in qualitativ hochwertigen Unterkünften für Selbstversorger erwarten würden.

Das schöne Dorf Lacock ist aufgrund seiner malerischen Straßen und historischen Cottages, die alle durch moderne Umbauten unberührt sind, ein beliebter Ort für Film- und Fernsehproduzenten. Das Dorf wurde als Kulisse für Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Cranford und Harry Potter genutzt. Vor kurzem wurde das Dorf für die Dreharbeiten zum letzten Film von Downton Abbey im September 2018 verwendet.

Die Cottages eignen sich auch ideal für Besucher der Umgebung, darunter Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury und Longleat.

Spotless cottage in beautiful village.

Comfortable beds in a very clean cottage. We loved the proximity of the village pubs. The only (tiny) downside was that we could hear the noise of the traffic from the nearby A road.

Beautiful home in a lovely village

The Rectory was beautiful. The property was spotless and the owners very friendly. We lived being able to walk to the little village of Lacock for dinner and it was also lovely for running. The setting is very private and quiet. The kitchen had all the basics needed and the home was generally very comfortable. We would definitely stay again

Excellent!

Only there for two nights, but its a clean, warm, well appointed, equipped, furnished and managed newish two bedroom apartment, set in the grounds of a lovely old house. The owner is a delight, very helpful, and leaves you alone to 'do your thing'. There is easy access to the roads into Bath, or to the nearest P&R. The village seems very nice, with a good pub and eatery. Not much more to say after only two nights, but if you want somewhere which meets the above criteria (and who does not), they we would recommend this place as perfect. We might even use it again next year, if we want to go to the Christmas Market in Bath.

Lovely place and great hosts

We found everything as promised. The cottage has been lovingly renovated. What you need to get started is provided by Helen. She also gives good advices on where to eat and also has football for the kids if you need one. Unconditionally recommended.

How predictable! This guest turned up with four adults and a teenager having booked for two adults and an infant. You even showed us the booking on your phone which confirmed your mistake. The accommodation accommodates a maximum of two adults and you were told this before you made your booking. You were looking for a cheap way to accommodate too many people in a cottage designed and more importantly insured for a young family and a maximum of two adults. You were angry at having to accommodate some of your party elsewhere and decided to make it our problem, hence your review. We spent a lot of time trying to help you to find an alternative location for some of you party, which we did not have to do. The cottage was not dirty but the state that you choose to leave the cottage in was not acceptable and you would certainly not be welcome to come back.

Wonderful Cottage

This cottage was absolutely fantastic. The communication from the owners was great. The location was amazing. Very quiet with rabbits in the gardens and sheep in the field. A short stroll takes you into the lovely village of Lacock. The cottage was ample for the 5 of us with everything you need and very well stocked. we would most certainly book again. Thank you.

Enjoyable stay in a beautiful location

Wyatt and Helen were great hosts. Good at communicating before arrival and during our stay. Little cottage, tucked away but only a very short walk to Lacock and surrounding area. As a family of 5, it was very snug and we probably didn't gauge this from the photos. We'd say it's probably better for a couple or a smaller family as things like fridge space and the living area were a squeeze. Overall a lovely cottage with great hosts!

Fantastic Find

From booking this break to departure communication was excellent. All the information we could of needed was given and our check in and check out seamless! The cottage itself was beautiful and evidently well looked after. It was perfect for our needs as was mainly a place to lay our heads. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough for us to enjoy the courtyard however it was available and inviting. 10/10 for a relaxing weekend away. Perfect location with lots of things to do locally. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cottage stay.

A charming, comfortable and well-equipped cottage in Lacock

A fabulous little cottage on a charming estate in Lacock. It felt like a home from home and Lentos cottage was just perfect for a family of 5! The rooms were spacious, spotless and well decorated throughout, the living area was so comfy and cosy and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped. Helen and Wyatt are such gracious and accommodating hosts, and made us feel right at home. My children were asking when, not if, we could go back... we will definitely book again!

Wiltshire weekend

We booked Lenton Cottage because of its proximity to Castle Combe race track as we had booked a skidpan experience for my son. Lenton Cottage is beautiful- looking over a field of rare breed sheep. It is warm and comfortable and has everything you need. Helen was very welcoming. Lacock is a lovely village with various walks and Lacock Abbey, a National Trust property. Loved our stay. Thank you

Clean and comfortable in historic Lacock

The cottage is very clean and easy to access. Loved the location near historic Lacock and base for Bath and Cotswolds. Plenty of room for our family with 2 teen daughters. Lovely place

A real gem. Lovely accommodation, cosy and had everything we needed. Felt very at home for the 2 days we stayed. Worked well with two small children being all on one level with no stairs! Harry loved the bunk bed. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Wyatt and Helen are very welcoming.

Wonderful visit and beautiful cottage!

The cottage has gone through a recent renovation and is a perfect location to visit the surrounding countryside. The village is within walking distance and has at least 3-4 places for dining. The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Definitely recommend a stay at this location.

Amaizing place

The apartment was located on the grounds of an old and amazing rectory, which is very close to Lacock village (3 minutes walking) which is a lovely and beautiful place. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Helen and her husband were always helping and very friendly with us. We recommend it with no doubt and we hope to go again in the future. We have been very happy there. Thanks a lot for everything!! El apartamento se encuentra localizado al lado de una antigua y bonita rectoría, en las proximidades de Lacock un precioso pueblo inglés (se llega a tres minutos andando). El apartamento estaba muy limpio y las camas eran muy cómodas. La cocina estaba equipada con todo lo necesario. Helen y su marido fueron muy amables y nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos. Lo recomendamos totalmente y esperamos volver en un futuro próximo. ¡¡Muchas gracias por todo!!
