We’re Wade, Annie, and Logan first-time vacation rental hosts based in Huntington Beach, California. This Morillon apartment marks the beginning of a long-held dream — our first steps toward a new chapter of life focused on simplicity, freedom, and meaningful experiences.

After years of juggling work and city life, we’re slowly building our “exit strategy” — one that leads to fresh mountain air, more time outdoors, and eventually, living a bit more on our own terms. Hosting in Morillon is part of that plan, and while we’re new to the game, we care deeply about doing it right. That means cozy stays, thoughtful details, and working with a local team that helps us ensure everything runs smoothly — even when we’re across the ocean.

We visited Morillon for the first time during Valentine’s Week — and we fell in love. Not just with the snow-covered peaks, but with everything: the charm of the village, the warmth of the people, and the pace of mountain life. Morillon has this magical blend of authentic French culture and unbeatable outdoor access, whether you're skiing right from the lift or hiking through alpine meadows in summer.

The neighborhood is peaceful yet connected — you're just steps from the gondola, close to local bakeries, shops, and trails, and minutes from the vibrant town of Samoëns. It’s part of the Grand Massif ski domain, one of the largest in the Alps, but it still feels welcoming and down-to-earth.

We chose this spot because it’s not just a vacation destination — it’s a place that feels good to return to. And we think our guests will feel the same. Whether you're here for the snow, the fresh air, or just a quiet place to recharge, Morillon offers the perfect setting.

The apartment itself is perched on the top floor of a charming chalet-style residence and offers panoramic mountain views from the private balcony. It's spacious enough for families or groups, with three comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a cozy lounge with a sofa bed.
