We regret that certain aspects of the accommodation did not meet your expectations. We constantly strive to keep our properties in optimal condition, with cleaning, garden, and pool maintenance services performed by professional companies, ensuring a well-maintained and comfortable environment for our guests. Regarding the aforementioned incident in the pool, we would like to clarify that there are no previous records of any similar situation. Given the circumstances and the situation described, it is most likely that it was a small rodent, not a rat. This can occur especially in non-urban areas like ours, even though the house is located just a five-minute walk from the beach and the town center. On extremely hot days, it is possible that a wild animal may approach looking for water, although, as mentioned, we have never had similar cases before. Furthermore, we would like to clarify that the house we are offering is shown faithfully in the listing photographs: it is neither better nor worse, but exactly as presented. The furnishings, layout, and condition fully correspond to what was advertised. If anyone is expecting a different style of home or level of modernization than the one shown, this unfortunately doesn't reflect the reality of the listing. Modest home in central location with great pool

We enjoyed our stay at the villa! The garden and pool are great and the house has everything you need. The bedrooms are air conditioned. Just important to be aware that the house is on a main road which is quite noisy and the house, particularly the bathrooms, are quite dated.

Great villa, great location

We had a very good stay. Everything was as expected and although the villa was on a main road (which we were entirely aware of), it didn’t really bother us. Cosme was very helpful and responsive to all our needs and requests. There were a few tiny issues, but he rectified them immediately. As soon as we had been in contact, he would react and resolve. We had a very pleasurable stay at this villa for 10 days. I would recommend this villa and would even come again.

Fantastic location but dirty

The villa is in need of updating though we were aware of that from other reviews and assume it was why the villa is such good value for the area (the location is very good). However, when we arrived the villa was really dirty. Floors were filthy and bathrooms and surfaces had not been cleaned between guests. I contacted the owner who came round and was very apologetic and nice. He contacted the cleaning company who came the next day but they were very reluctant to do anything and I really had to argue that the villa should be cleaned properly.

I completely agree, when you arrived at the villa it had not been perfectly cleaned, I personally came to check it and immediately contacted the cleaning company who sent a team to go over the house again the next day, it is true that it was not perfect For that reason, at the indicated time they came to review everything, we don't really know what he means when he argues that the cleaning company was reluctant to clean, I have no knowledge of this case but, just as I immediately came to review everything, I can guarantee you that I would have come again to have everything cleaned to your liking, since we paid a very high price for the cleaning service and it must be perfect. Without a doubt, we took note together with the cleaning company and now a more exhaustive review is being done. In reference to the update, I must say that since its departure the outdoor furniture has been renewed as well as a new Smart TV has been installed in the master bedroom, the mattresses have 3 seasons and the pillows are changed every year, this year also when it was You, all the duvets and all the duvet covers had been bought new, the house is painted every winter, everything that breaks is repaired (which is a lot due to misuse), and we renew many things every year, the The sofas are very comfortable and are in perfect condition (covers are used that are replaced and cleaned as sometimes they are completely dirty). So from last season to this many things have been renewed and we are renewing them day by day. Quiet location, could do with upgrading

The outdoor space was lovely and the road wasn’t much of an issue for us. There were some issues highlighted with the oven, kettle and wine glasses that Cosme rectified quickly. Unfortunately the outdoor sofas had mouldy seat cushions so we couldn’t use them, and there was an issue with one of the windows where there was an insect infestation dropping dirt/bits into the curtain above a bed which was not acceptable. In addition, there was a strong sulfur smell from the toilets throughout our stay which was unpleasant, and a bit worrying with a small infant. As we were mainly outside, we still enjoyed our stay, however feel that these issues need rectifying before others stay at the property. Cosme informed us we needed to let him know during our stay as issues arose, however that’s not ideal when multiple issues arise while trying to enjoy your holiday! We did ask to arrive early to drop off our bags, however made it clear that we would vacate the property after this until the check in time to allow for cleaning etc. so this shouldn’t have been an issue.We have tried contacting Cosme about the issues following our stay but have not yet had a response.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the outdoor space and that, despite a few inconveniences, you were able to enjoy your stay in Mallorca. All issues reported during your stay were addressed immediately. The kettle was replaced in less than an hour, and a technician visited the house within 1.5 hours to inspect the oven. That same evening, a brand-new oven was installed. The technician confirmed that the ignition button had been pressed with such force it broke and was pushed inside the unit. Even so, we did not hold the guest responsible and took care of the replacement without delay. Regarding the wine glasses, the house was already stocked with a sufficient amount, but at the guest's request we provided an additional box containing six new glasses. We also offered an early check-in, well before the standard time, even while our gardening and cleaning teams were still working following another guest’s checkout that same morning. Despite the team’s effort to finish early, we did not receive any words of appreciation. As for the smell in the bathrooms, we performed an inspection and treated the pipes with a specialized product which completely eliminated the odor. It was certainly not as strong as described in the review. We received no report of any insect infestation during the stay, and upon reading the review, we carried out an inspection and found no evidence of any pests. Ein wunderschön angelegter Garten mit einem schönen und großen Pool. Klasse.Auch das kleine Gartenhaus mit Grillmöglichkeit im landesüblichen Stil hat uns gut gefallen Das Haus jedoch ist mächtig in die Jahre gekommen und es gibt einen recht ordentlichen Renovierungsstau. Zum Beispiel mit Tesafilm geflickte Scheiben, ein nicht zu öffnendes Schlafzimmerfenster, rostige Armaturen. Das wäre zu verschmerzen gewesen, nicht aber der Geruch (Schwefel, Kanalisation), der im Garten und auch im Haus (dort wohl vom kleinen Bad aus kommend) permanent vorhanden war. Wirklich eine Zumutung. Die 6-7 Hähne des Nachbarn (erster Krähen gegen 04:00 Uhr) haben uns dann den Rest gegeben. Schade.

We would like to clarify that there are absolutely no windows repaired with tape; all bedroom windows are fitted with new VELUX blackout curtains. There are also no rusty taps, so we are unsure which fixtures you are referring to. We continuously invest in the property, and a thorough renovation is scheduled for this winter, as we do every year to improve the house. Measures have already been taken to address maintenance and occasional odor issues. Regarding the rural surroundings, sounds such as roosters are part of the local environment, though we strive to ensure they do not disturb our guests’ rest. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve and provide a more comfortable stay in the future.

Absolute Empfehlung

Mein Partner und ich haben mit unserem 11Monate alten Sohn knappe vier Wochen in der Finca von Cosme gewohnt. In dieser Zeit haben uns neben den Großeltern auch eine Familie mit zwei Kindern (1 und 6 Jahre alt) besucht. Wir sowie alle anderen haben sich super wohl gefühlt und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Die Finca ist typisch spanisch eingerichtet und etwas älter. Es war alles absolut sauber und gepflegt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem! Der Pool und die gesamte Anlage sind sehr gepflegt. Die Lage ist absolut ideal wenn man zu Fuß in den Ort, Strand oder einkaufen möchte. Dass das zwangsläufig bedeutet, dass man mitten im Geschehen ist und daher den Straßenverkehr hört, war uns bewusst und hat absolut nicht gestört! Probleme mit Ameisen oder anderen Ungeziefern hatten wir nicht, man muss sich natürlich immer um seinen Müll und Essensreste kümmern - selbstverständlich in warmen Regionen. Cosme hat auf Nachrichten immer umgehend geantwortet. Wir haben einen weiteren Hochstuhl sowie ein Babybett gebraucht, eine 2.Kaffeemaschine, mussten für unsere Freunde einen Kinderwagen mieten, brauchten einen Shuttleservice und hatten noch ein paar weitere Anfragen - Cosme hat sich immer umgehend und super lieb um alle Anliegen gekümmert. So einen Service hat bisher keiner von uns erlebt!!! Danke an Cosme für die schöne Zeit, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können die Finca nur jedem ans Herz legen.

Schönes Grundstück, Ferienhaus ist in die Jahre gekommen

Pool und Grundstück sind sehr schön. Das Haus ist keine Luxusklasse, aber der schöne Garten tröstet darüber hinweg. Was uns allerdings nicht bewusst war: das Grundstück liegt an einer sehr befahrenen Hauptstraße. Im Haus hört man den Verkehrslärm nicht, aber im Garten hat man quasi ein permanentes Hintergrundgeräusch.

Toller Garten und Pool, gutes Haus!

Wie hatten zwei tolle Wochen in Port de Pollenca. Die Lage vom Haus ist gut, man erreicht alles schnell. Supermarkt, Bushaltestellen und die Stadt sind keine 5 Minuten entfernt. Zum Hafen und zum Strand läuft man etwa 10 Minuten. Ein Auto braucht man nicht unbedingt, kann man aber tageweise gut und günstig mieten. Der Garten des Haus ist wirklich sehr groß und gut gepflegt, der Pool ist wunderbar und würde auch oft genutzt von uns. Die Straße hött man zwar zeitweise, aber es stört wirklich nicht und der Garten ist auch nicht einsehbar. Den Grill haben wir oft und gerne genutzt. Das Haus ist sehr groß, die Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern funktionieren gut und effizient. Die Ausstattung und die Einrichtungsgegenstände sind spanisch und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Manches sollte wirklich erneuert werden. Die Betten waren aber gut und auch sonst fehlte es an nichts. WLAN, Küchengeräte, Spülmaschinen und Waschmaschine, alles vorhanden. Cosme ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilft bei Fragen und Problemen sehr schnell. Vielen Dank dafür!

The house is conveniently located although On a busy road, access to the beach, supermarkets etc is very easy and only a short walk. The house is very dated, poorly fitted out and needs modernising, definitely overpriced and the description is not an accurate reflection of the property ! I would not stay here again

We are very surprised by your comment since when we visited you told us that everything was perfect, we also take the comments very seriously and we are always willing to improve, therefore, we would appreciate that it is exactly what you consider needs updating, since it was done a deep renovation in 2019 of the house, all the furniture in the rooms are new, the decoration is new, the parquet flooring is new, the air conditioners are new, in the bathroom the furniture is also new, the bathroom floor is new from 2021 because the parquet floor despite being AC5 does not water puddles so we have renewed it, the mattresses are new from 2019 (and in the past season they were practically not used), all the lights are new, the curtains are new, the blackout curtains are new, the pillows are new from 2021 as we change them every year. On the ground floor, as you could see, the chairs are new, the lighting is new, the downstairs bathroom is new, the sofa is not new (it is about 6 years old) but it is in perfect condition, the table and chairs in the solarium They are new, the sunbeds are only 3 years old and as you could see they are made of aluminum and of excellent quality and all the tiles in the pool were renewed in 2019. Regarding the equipment, we would also appreciate if you could tell us what you need that you did not have the house since, the kitchen oven is new, it has 2 coffee makers, a nespresso and a normal electric one, a new microwave, crockery, wine glasses, cups, cutlery, kitchen knives etc ... which is all for 2019, also we always replace everything that breaks, all the kitchen utensils are complete, the TV is a Smart TV bought new in June 2021, we have greatly improved the quality of internet connection compared to 2020, there is a carbon BBq with all the necessary utensils, a washing machine that Sar if it is not new is in perfect condition and a music system that we could possibly change and that we will surely put a new one very soon. By the way, all the electrical installation is new, as you could see in the new fuse box in the garage. Regarding the fact that the house is expensive, considering the dimensions of the property, garden, pool, location and equipment, and compared to all other similar properties in the area, it is one of those with the most economical price, and this is due to that we are directly owners of the house. As you will see, the description of the ad is very exact with the property since otherwise VRBO (which reviews all the ads before publishing them) would not allow us to publish the property. Not worth it

Our problems started at check-in. The google maps link does bring you very close to the property but there is no number on the gate and it is closed and rusty so the property appears almost derelict and is therefore hard to find. When we entered the property it hadn't been cleaned since the previous guests - it was filthy. After a couple of hours I eventually got hold of Cosme. He was very apologetic and arranged a hotel room for the night (9pm by the time we got to check-in). We have 18mth old twins & a 3 yr old so this was not ideal. The hotel room was nice but was only meant for a couple so not ideal. I also checked the room rate and it was less than we paid for the property per night. Two days later, we woke to heavy rain with leaking windows in the kitchen and an ant infestation (literally thousands of them). I swept up as many as I could initially. I contacted Cosme and to be fair to him, he got someone around quickly to clean them up and lay down ant repellent but again this is not very safe or practical with 3 toddlers. Cosme also informed me that it was normal in Malloraca to have ants after rain. However, my view is that if the house was properly sealed then rain or ants would not be able to enter. The other small issues with the property were: 1. Microwave didn't work 2. Extractor fan didn't work 3. Shower head upstairs was broken 4. No bath mat so it wasn't very safe for kids having a bath. We didn't even bother reporting these last issues to Cosme as we were just a bit sick and tired of the property and wanted to enjoy our holiday as much as possible without having to constantly be in touch with the landlord. Overall the property looks much nicer in the photos - it appears much brighter than it actually is. The location is quite convenient but as other reviewers have mentioned, it is close to a busy road so the traffic noise is loud and constant. All things considered, the place is OK but it is not worth the quoted price.

Mr. Kevin, to say that our house seems almost abandoned seems to me something very dishonest on your part. They are barriers of a well-known artisan blacksmith in the area, in reference that there is no number, say that there is a sign on the main barrier of 70x50 cm with the name of the house that is visible more than 100 meters away ( it is the first time someone says they can't find the house !!!) Yes, it is true that the house was not ready upon arrival and it is our mistake since the cleaning team confused the day of arrival and I apologize for all this, but, say that your arrival was at 5:00 pm and 7:00 p.m. I already had a room reserved in one of the best hotels in Puerto de Pollença (Puerto Azul Suite Hotel), the reservation I made was for 2 adults, 1 child and 2 cots in addition to a gourmet dinner for everyone, a full breakfast and a late Checkout, so I have it on the hotel bill that was 296.30 euros, this has a much higher cost than one night in my house. It is a pity that I can not put photos with the hotel bill, and the schedules with the messages that you and I exchanged and so would see the hours in which everything happened (so they would know how dishonest you are). Regarding the ants I also have the messages with all the photos and how long it took to solve the problem that we only used spray cans that are sold in the supermarket (it was not more than half an hour and I went to fix it myself, and I repeat that Because of the heavy rains, the ants that are in the garden are looking for a safe shelter, saying that the house is not sealed is not appropriate. I went to check the microwave, it did not work and it is true (I just needed to raise the fuse of the plug, probably with heavy storms the fuse could fall), the upper shower stand was down, due to use, it is already repaired (late to bring a new one and place it less than 20 minutes) . About the kitchen extractor, just I had to connect the plug to the side of the kitchen and take out the extractor, you would have noticed that it works perfectly. In the garden you can barely hear the noise of cars since it is not a road but a normal path. That says a lot about a person who leaves without warning not to pay the tourist fee that is an obligation in Mallorca. The house has been renovated last winter, new parquet, new bathrooms, new bedroom furniture, new mattresses, new beds and pillows, completely renovated pool, new garden furniture and new electrical installation.

Villa with private garden and pool

Our host was very welcoming and the villa was easy to find, good location for puerto pollensa town and beach. Everything with in a 15min walk. Pool was a good size. The house is roomy, and comfortable, but a little tired . We spent most of our days around the pool . Great holiday

Really good location: Best barbecue imaginable.

We wanted a place away from the beach front but within walking distance of local amenities (we didn't have a car) and this place couldn't have been better. The property is on the main road but secluded and private and was perfect for our young son to run around in the garden. The house is pretty basic in terms of decor but exactly as pictured so that's certainly not a criticism. The one thing which really marked out this place was the fantastic barbecue and annexed dining area, which is one of the best I've ever seen in a holiday rental. I'd highly recommend going to the Eroski nearby and talking to the lovely and knowledgable staff at the meat and fish counter. We got a joint of matured vaja vieja and did it on the grill and it's a meal I'll not forget. Cosme was very helpful and organized our airport transfer with a very reliable taxi driver. He was unintrusive and easy-going throughout our stay. I'd definitely recommend this property to families with young children who want a bit of privacy in reach of the beach.

Fijn ruim en schoon huis.

Mooie tuin met voldoende plekken om zo wel in de zon als uit de zon te zitten. Huis beschikt over 6 fijne relaxstoelen. Mooi en goed onderhouden zwembad maar eind april nog erg koud. Huis is prima en goed ingericht. Bedden en matrassen waren nieuw. Slaapkamers beschikten over airco maar niet nodig gehad. Ruime en nette badkamer boven. Douche/wc beneden een beetje klein maar prima douchen! Keuken is goed en volledig ingericht. Eigenaar is een vriendelijke en behulpzame man. Huis staat op een paar minuten lopen van een grote supermarkt. Naar het strand is het wat verder lopen maar ook prima te doen. Auto is lastig te parkeren bij het strand. Dus is lopen een goede en gezonde optie. In de omgeving van Pollenca is voldoende te doen en te beleven. Het huren van een auto is wel een must.

Lovely pool & garden BUT unless you’re planning on sleeping and eating in garden - steer clear!!

Ok I never leave reviews and have never felt the need to give a bad review as I always believe that this is someone’s livelihood so I don’t take this likely but I wished someone had left an honest review of this property as we worked very hard all year to afford this property and holiday and we were left very disappointed with the state of this property and the service/communication from the supposed owner. Where to start ....ok so the property is outdated but it’s run down and with the rental income they make surely they could update it and fix’s the obvious big problems. Ok so the big issues we had were we had no WiFi for 12 days despite reporting this to the supposed owner whom once we handed over the money/ rental balance funnily enough wasn’t particularly interested in contacting us or replying to our messages 🤔 So no air con downstairs (vitually needed) the upstairs air con on timers! Suspected bedbugs on sofa (they have cleaners but the ones that don’t clean cobwebs, dust, windows or funnily enough wash any of the furnishings) cracked floor tiles so need to watch out for little ones feet, also not to mention a collapsing work service supporting the stove 👍 taped up or loose plug sockets and ones that seemingly look fine but just don’t work altogether. Broken flush on upstairs toilet, leaky shower which is a cosy home for the ants that currently reside there. A lovely creak and dip in the floor in the main bedroom caused by a lovely hole in the floor boards - patched up with filler no doubt and covered with a nice rug. On a serious note take care of the main bedroom ceiling fan as it’s dangerously loose. I could go on but I think this is enough and gives you an honest review of the property. For what you pay to rent the property you deserve and 100% can get a better property with a pool. You may think why give it 2 stars instead of 1 star but the 2 stars is for the garden alone.

wonderful relaxing holiday

I have been to Porta Pollensa many times but this was the best holiday i have had there, and it was down to this fabulous house, the location for us was great right next to the supermarket and I nice stroll into the beach. Cosme the owner could not do enough for us, the garden is so peaceful and well kept, I have already booked to come back in June. Alison from Glasgow

Our second stay, if anything it was better than last year. A lovely very large private outside space, with a good sized well maintained pool, where we spent most of our time . We could play music , grandchildren could be noisy without upsetting anyone as there are no adjoining neighbours.Ideal location with large supermarket 2 mins & beach 5-10 mins,.A big thank you to Cosme for being so helpful.

Like 2 seperate holidays

This house presented us with a problem. The location is absolutely spot on. The gardens are stunning as is the whole outside area including the pool. Cosme was helpful with any issues. But the inside of the House is very, very basic and dour. Now some would say its Spanish style and that's your own fault, and they would be right. But its dated and old fashioned, small, and doesn't have all mod cons (air conditioning only upstairs and not very effective). Also a bit annoyed when we arrived really late and there was not so much as a bottle of water in the fridge (most places leave a small welcome pack with coffee, milk etc to get you started). Having said these things, it wasn't the most expensive house we have ever paid for so, did we get what we paid for? Probably. Modernised and charged accordingly would I stay again? Yes.

Perfect house for a family. Lovely secluded garden with pool, lawn, outside cooking and eating areas

Ideally situated for easy access to Porto Pollenca, this is a great little house for a family break. The adjacent road could've been an issue but the garden is filled with mature plantings and totally secluded. The pool is fab and there's plenty of shade for when it gets too hot. A separate annex room with dining table and large patio doors was useful. Would've benefited from basic stuff like cleaning cloths, bin bags etc but a minor quibble and I guess we were the very first guests this season. The barbecue was great and we used it every day: loved the bicycle cog system of raising/lowering the grill! As a naturalist, the garden was great for attracting wildlife - daily sightings of eagles, bee-eaters and various interesting bird species plus several butterfly species too. There is a small nature reserve five minutes away at La Gola. There's a supermarket just down the road and the site is within a ten minute stroll of the shops, bars and restaurants of Porto Pollenca. Overall a very convenient and comfortable stay in a lovely bit of the island.

Beautiful garden and pool

All good size, particularly impressed with size of pool and garden. Clean in house although showers could do with updating. Well equipped and plenty of room for a family of 6. Ten minute walk to beach/ harbour/ shops/market. 3 minute walk to supermarket but if you fancy hot bread/croissants in mornings turn left and go to supermarket at roundabout which is very well stocked. We had a small incident with the back door and Cosme was extremely helpful and obliging to our needs. We had a really lovely stay in this villa and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Relaxed family house in a charming coastal village

We’ve just returned from our stay in this relaxed family home in Puerto Pollensa. For us it was the second time that we've visited Mallorca and since we've enjoyed our rental villa in Port de Soller so much last year, we’ve decided to return to Mallorca and choose again for a homeaway villa in another beautiful part of this island. We’ve enjoyed our stay very much. The owner is very helpful, gave us a warm welcome and replied quickly on questions we had during our stay. The house was clean and well equiped. Every friday two charming ladies came to clean the house, change the bed sheets and bring new towels. Our two boys (age 5 and 7) enjoyed the pool very much especially all the floating articles which were available in the house to play with in the pool. Great service! The garden is lovely with new loungers and a pleasant veranda to relax in the shade. It is an easy 5 min stroll to the Eroski supermarket where they have everything you can imagine. In 10 min you are in the charming harbour with plenty of restaurants to choose from. We especially liked Capri for lunch and ice coffee and Can Pescador for a lovely dinner on the beach. The beach right in the centre of the village is oke but we preferred chiringuitos Embat beach which is located on the platja Llenaire just 5 car minutes to the right. Great cocktails, dj and live music on weekend days and a playground for the kids. Also windsurfing and stand up paddle at platja Muro (Mallorca watersports - Alcudia) was great. Also try Hotel Niu in Cala St Vincent for a nice dinner with a beautiful view. The tour we made to Cap de Formentor (go after 5 PM) was magnificent. The road that leads through the Serra de Tramuntana to Fornalutx, Soller, Deia and Valdemossa is breath taking. If you have the chance go for lunch at Tramuntana lodge which is along the road from Soller to Deia. Such a beautiful place. Also the historical train from Port the Soller to Soller is a treat. Pollenca is a lovely old town with narrow streets, nice shops and restaurants. The market in Pollenca on Sundays is great as is the beautiful church on the Placa Major. Our kids also liked the Planetarium in Constitx were there is a interesting two hour presentation on Friday and Saturday (8 pm summer / 7 pm winter). They also enjoyed the waterparks and the tour at the salt production in Salines d'es Tenc. We would definitely recommend this relaxed family home and its location. Enjoy your stay!

Ideal place to chill out .......

This property is ideally located for beach, restaurants, supermarket etc. The garden & pool area is a little sunny haven - occasional disturbed by noise from nearby road ( but it really didn't bother us) The airconditioning upstairs, although on timer, was very effective. Like others we hired a car, but not necessary . Overall a good size house, well equipped, spacious garden / pool on the doorsteps of all amenities - definitely would go back !

Fantastic family getaway home

We are a family of 3 with an 18month old baby. Great location, close to shops and 10 mins walk to the port with plenty of restaurants. We hired a car and the drive was approx 40mins from Palma, would not say a car is necessary unless you want to get out and explore. There is secure off street parking for 2 vehicles. Property was very clean upon arrival and clearly well taken care of. Swimming pool was a great size and very clean. Garden was very spacious with lots of room to run around and is well kept. The sun shines on the garden and pool all day, bushes have been trimmed and a tree removed since the photos on this site were taken, not doing it justice. Patio is great for family meals with good shade when needed during the day, we made the most of eating outside in the evenings. Cosme was extremely helpful and attentive when required, comes round to clean the pool every 3 days. We would recommend this property without hesitation and hope to come back in the future.

The best advantage of this property is that it is not necessary vehicle, it is only 5 minutes from the town center walking and 5 minutes from the beach, the supermarket is located about 250 meters from the property. Perfect to enjoy the north of the island.
