Regarding the check-in instructions, our records show we reached out to you daily in the days leading up to your stay to remind you that there were outstanding requirements that needed to be completed before the check-in details could be released. These requirements are also outlined in your booking confirmation at the time of reservation. We're sorry for any confusion this caused, and we've since resolved the issues with the door code so future guests won't experience a delay. We'd also like to note that we do not advertise an ice maker for this unit. As for the pest concern, Hilton Head is prone to palmetto bugs at certain times of year. We take all preventative pest control measures, but on occasion one may find its way in, particularly when doors are open while bringing in luggage. We're always happy to send someone by to assist with removal, so please don't hesitate to reach out if it happens during a stay. We appreciate your comments and will take another look at the lighting in the bedroom to ensure it's sufficient for guests. Thank you again, and we hope to host you more smoothly in the future.
