Juanita, When you informed me about the sewage smell this was my response: "This is a problem originating from the street sewer system that runs next to the building. Last year, at the peak of the high season, it happened in several areas of the city due to the overflow. The city is always working to solve overflow issues on the high season." This was out of our control. I can tell you that the problem has been fixed now. I have been here since you left and there is no sewer smell anymore. I got informed that the city fixed the problem. About the fumigation I explained you that we were trying to stop the fumigation in our unit but we could not stop it in the whole building as fumigations are necessary and are scheduled by the Strata. As it was a Saturday and the management offices were not open, I told you I would get back to you on Monday to confirm that we stopped the fumigation in our unit. You never responded to my message and just left the place without even telling me. By the way on Monday the management told me that our unit was not going to be fumigated on Tuesday and we were going to pay out of our own pocket for the fumigation on another day. It is very important to us to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay; but you did not give us a chance to let you know the resolution. You did not let me know about the water. We have an in-house maintenance person on the property who takes care of anything regarding the property. I wish you could've told me and he would have taken care of it right away. You can see all our previous reviews have been 5 stars and raving about the beautiful property and complex. Yours is the only 1 star review that we've ever had and I personally feel that I explained to you and try to help where I could, considering that these circumstances were out of our control. As owners we frequent our place a lot and we have several returning guests who come back every year because they love the property, and they also stay for at least a month at a time as you did. Sorry to hear the construction noise from the building next door was an annoyance and you had to stay away :( The completion date was set for November 2018, I guess there were some delays. That said the building is almost done and right now they are working on the outside finishings. I am confident that it will be done by the beginning of 2019. If you come back this way again next year, I can assure you there won't be construction. Thanks for your stay :)
