My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend. House was well stocked, very clean, close to town, and had an incredible view! We enjoyed Whitewater rafting nearby and some great hiking.

We stayed for a week and had a wonderful stay. Place was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Views and outside patio were awesome. Close to town but still very private. Rhododendren were in bloom on the mountain.

This place is gorgeous and so, so cozy. Plenty of space with super comfy furniture in the living room and a well-stocked kitchen. (They even have a "catch-all" drawer with all those little things you need around the house, like Ziplock bags and rubber bands and whatnot.) The back deck is the real star, though - the view is gorgeous, the outdoor furniture is comfortable, and on a dark, chilly night, having dinner at the firepit table was completely delightful. Big ups to the hosts for being so kind to us as we celebrated our first wedding anniversary! And pro tips for future guests: -if you have the opportunity to go on the Full Moon Hike at Tallulah Gorge State Park, DO IT. You won't find a better way to spend the evening, especially for 10 a head. (Bring a headlamp.)-go to Nona's. Get the Black Cherry Lambrusco sangria and five-star Italian food at an insanely reasonable price point. Thank me later.-leave the van at home and bring a car that's maneuverable and has good headlights. The mountain roads and the driveway are twisty.

Great place to recover from white water rafting!

We needed to change our reservation twice and Justin was extremely easy to contact and work with.
Great place for morning prayer time.
Dinner here every night.
We rafted the Chatooga river section IV. Highly recommended as well!

Very clean. Nice view. Extremely well stocked kitchen-probably one of the best I have ever stayed at. Nice closet of games and puzzles. Nice ceiling fans and comfortable furniture.The deck would have been wonderful except the furniture is covered and secured down. To enjoy it, you must dump the heavy rain water which has accumulated, uncover it, and separate the furniture and then add the cushions. Then do the opposite when you are done using it. Part of the reason I selected the place was for the outdoor space and the nice furniture--which was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately because it was so much trouble we got little use out of it. I suggest swapping the outdoor dinner table and putting it on the open deck and putting the couch under the cover. Only those with a large party would use the big table and they would have more people to help with the un-/covering of the furniture. I suggest using Screamer Mtn Rd vs. Saddle Gap Rd. It's 2 lanes and you spend less time on a tight gravel road yo reach the house.

Clayton vacation

Property was nice. Very clean and quaint. The backyard could use a little TLC, especially around the fire pit. The Gravel road to the unit Is a little rough but certainly doable. View is as advertised.

Fantastic view

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a property that was as well stocked and as comfortable. Little things like tissues in every room and a decent potato peeler make a big difference. The operation of the can opener remains a mystery though. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The view was awesome and I imagine stunning in the fall. The driveway was a bit of a challenge especially if you have a large vehicle.

Amazing Property

This property 'wowed' us in so many ways! The home is so clean and well thought out. No detail is spared. In every room, we found tiny details that show these owners cared about us and our stay. They have thought of EVERYTHING to make you feel comfy, cozy and at home. Every room was precious. The kitchen left nothing to desire or imagination. The entire home is great for a few people or a group. The highlight, however, is the view from the back of the house/deck. It is STUNNING! We were able to spend so much time out there. There is no shortage of incredibly nice outdoor furniture to relax on and take in the beauty of the mountains. And if you need to the fire pit table is a great gathering spot to warm up on a cold evening! We will most definitely be returning! This property is everything we hoped it would be for us and we are so thankful to have found it!
