Great Stay!

The property is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from downtown and a short drive to both Black Mountain and Tallulah Gorge. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and had everything you might need. The rooms were light and airy and not cluttered. The location was very convenient to attractions, restaurants and stores. We were very surprised and pleased the views from the back deck. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely setting

Lovely setting. Evan, the host, was highly responsive. Convenient to Clayton and Kingwood Country Club, which is where my brother got married and the reason for our visit. Tree covered walking paths, large windows, and modern amenities made it a nice, quiet stay. I highly recommend it.

Fabulous home/location

My family and i absolutely loved our stay here! The neighborhood the home is located in is a quaint and very quiet residential neighborhood. It’s super close to downtown Clayton (less than 5 minutes). It’s 15 minutes to Julep Farms (highly recommend) and 25-30 minutes to Highlands. The home is beautiful! Great layout, well equipped and spacious for my family to spread out. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, loved the high end coffee makers and made use of the board games available. The home is equipped with an Alexa and a robo vacuum which was so nice! The washer/dryer are a great feature and upscale brand. Hot tub was super clean and our dog loved the backyard and porch! Can’t wait to come back! Home was spotless and very well maintained

Clayton Modern Retreat

The house is close to downtown in a safe neighborhood. It has open floor plan with comfy furniture and beds. Lots of windows and nice views are nice perks!! Will comfortably accommodate 8-10. It was extra nice that we could bring our 2 small dogs! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect for our golf trip

I can’t say enough good things about our 5 night stay at alpine cabin in Clayton! My husband and I went to play golf at Sky valley.. The home was exactly as described… beautifully decorated, master bedroom ( which was only bedroom that we used) mattress was most comfortable… the kitchen was equipped with everything we could ask for… and more! The communication was excellent with Evan…. He was very kind.. We would definitely recommend this modern, beautiful home and would love to stay there again…

As beautiful as the pictures

This is a wonderful property that is actually as wonderful as the pictures show! It is clean and fresh, and easy to feel at home in. Huge plus on the location - super close to town, and big back yard with amazing mountain view s. The hot tub is perfect after a long day of hiking, and a lovely spot to watch the sun set and the stars twinkle. Our kids loved the big bunk beds and the plethora of soft towels. The kitchen was nicely stocked with gadgets, and soaps and extras around the house were helpful. The WiFi connected devices across the house are a big plus - and even make doing the hot tub towel laundry fun 😊 Host was super easy to work with too. Hope to go back soon!!!

What a tremendous experience! 5 stars indeed…from the excellent communication and personable kindness from our host, to the clean, comfortable, and quiet property. The views were delightful and the quaint town, charming. We, of course, enjoyed dinners at Fortify, but couple of hidden gems that are not to be missed are 1// the new Napa South Wine Bar (the owner is vibrant, so knowledgeable, and stocks a variety of unique wines and small plates), and 2// the Mountain Grill. This unimpressive atmosphere boasts the most spectacular homemade food. Best cinnamon roll we had ever had! And the fresh tomato pie and quiche will melt in your mouth. Thanks for a providing such a refreshing retreat. We will be back.
