The property is situated in a prime location and is within walking distance of most amenities. The Air Conditioning and internet were excellent, with lots of lovely restaurants nearby. The only issue we had was with ants in the apartment, despite not leaving food out and keeping the dishes clean. The host responded to us promptly and tried to resolve the issue. I iimagine that this issue will be resolved for the next guest and it was probaly a 1 off issue.

Review of my stay at Palm House 1 in Rome

To say that my mother and I enjoyed our stay at the Palm House 1 in Rome would be a serious (if not guilty) understatement. My mother and I spent there 12 enchanting days.A premise: I am from Rome and lived for years and years at my parents' house, round the corner from the Palm House, in via Mercadante # 8, then # 30. My family deeply loved that part of Rome, called Pinciano (which is far MORE elegant than the Parioli). I now live in Cambridge MA, with my family, and wanted my mother to go back to her beloved area of Rome. Yes, we know the area well, hence we had expectations about the Palm House1. Every thing there was absolutely perfect: interior decoration, ho appliances, AC, view from the windows, generous spaces, golden light, extra- comfortable bed kitchen batroom living room, house wares, cleanliness. Our landlord Raniero, and his assistant Andrea were impeccable: extremely polite, helpful, and generous. For my mother and I it was a vacation to remember (N.B. we both are pretty spoiled guests). So much that from now on, when in Rome, we'll ALWAYS stay there. Actually, next time I would check first the availability of the Palm House 1, make a reservation, and (only) then continue to buy the plane tickets. A revealing detail: because of the kindness of Raniero, I could leave behind at the Palm House 'in storage' a couple of useful cumbersome objects so that I can find them there next time. And the next. And the next. In a nutshell: it was a 6 or 7 stars stay.

5 day stay in Rome

Well located in a lovely, quiet and safe neighbourhood. A few minutes from the beautiful Villa Borgheze and close to bus transport to Termini. The apartment was everything we hoped for. Spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved having breakfast in the outdoor space each morning. The security was amazing - no possibility of a break in while we were out exploring Rome. What a beautiful apartment in an outstanding neighborhood. Hal is such a kind and thoughtful host! He gave us a great tour of the neighborhood upon our arrival which was so helpful. Get away in Rome

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The property is lovely, the neighborhood is excellent and Hal is charming to work with. The apartment is well appointed, the best part is the lovely private patio. This property is close to the Villa Borghese and there is a lovely, large park for strolling, running etc. It is about a mile to the Spanish steps. This is a quiet upscale neighborhood away from the chaos of top attractions. it is not the easiest to get to everything (we used cabs but it is about 1.5 -2 miles from Coloseum/Vatican but there are close metro and bus stations. If you want to just relax in a safe, quiet area of Rome, stroll to the local taverna for dinner and have coffee at leisurely pace, this place is perfect. Would love to stay again.

Fantastic large apartment in a great location

This is a fantastic large beautiful apartment in a great area. So many options with bus and tram routes so close. Hal the owner was so helpful, from the moment we commenced the booking until we left after our stay. Hal recommended some local restaurants which were very good and even took the time to book one for my husband and myself for a very special night . The location to the Borghese gardens also allows you to walk to some of Romes famous sites.

Amazing property and host!

Wow-this property is beautiful and relaxing. It felt clean, had a nice outside space to chill in, and comfortable furniture. The neighborhood was very safe and convenient for restaurants, stores, and bus/tram stops. Hal made our time in Rome so stress free-he took us on a tour of the neighborhood and helped us with a restaurant for dinner for our first night. He was kind, communicative, and hospitable. Perfect Stay in Rome

We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if and when we make it back to Rome. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean and well appointed. Hal was super communicative and helpful and even gave us a wonderful recommendation for nearby food that we fell in love with and went to each day! This is a more residential quiet part of Rome which we loved. It is still within walking distance of all the main attractions. Outstanding apartment/small bottom floor villa in a quite neighborhood. Your love the birds singing to your awakening in the morning. Oasis in the Ancient city

Brilliant venue, excellent host. This amazing find is a treasure, away from the tourist crowds you can enjoy some tranquility eating in local restaurants exploring the fresh fruit and vege markets relaxing in the stunning courtyard with jasmin hydrangeas hibiscus and palms. Yet only a short taxi bus or tram trip to the centre of everything. We loved every minute thank you Hal. It was sensational.
