Das 70 qm große Apartment bietet Platz für 2 Personen und besteht aus

1 Schlafzimmer (16 qm, 2 Fenster) mit Kingsize-Bett, Kleiderschrank und Kommode, 2 Bettseiten. Bettwäsche, Decken und Bettdecken werden gestellt. 1 en-suite Badezimmer mit Badewanne / Dusche, WC, Bidet, Fenster

· Ein geräumiges und helles Wohnzimmer, 28 qm breit, mit 2 Fenstern und 1 Fenstertür zur kleinen Terrasse. Möbel mit sehr hohem Standard, darunter einige Antiquitäten, Fernseher, Radio und CD-Player sowie ein großer Glastisch; Bücher und Musik-CDs stehen den Gästen zur Verfügung.

· Die Küche, 16 qm breit, komplett ausgestattet, mit 4 Herdplatten, Backofen, Kühl-Gefrierkombination, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, einem Tisch für 4 Personen und Balkon. Tischdecken zur Verfügung gestellt

· Ein zweites Badezimmer mit Dusche; Waschmaschine, Schuhablage, Dunstabzug. Badetuch zur Verfügung gestellt

· Eine kleine Terrasse zum Essen im Freien in der Saison, mit Tisch und Stühlen zum Essen im Freien (Grill ist nicht erlaubt).

Die Wohnung befindet sich im 2. Stock einer kleinen Villa mit Aufzug, 70qm, hochwertigem Mobiliar mit teils antiken Möbeln.
In der Nähe des Hügels Gianicolo mit den besten Aussichten bei Nacht und Tag auf Rom und Trastevere mit seinem Nachtleben. Nur 200 m zum Best Food Open Market und nur wenige Gehminuten von der Villa Pamphili entfernt, einer wunderschönen alten Villa, die jetzt im öffentlichen Park liegt.

Das historische Zentrum ist ganz in der Nähe und leicht mit der Straßenbahnlinie 8 zu erreichen, die Sie in 10 Minuten (alle 3 Minuten) nach Trastevere oder in 20 Minuten zum Pantheon und zur Piazza Navona bringt. In der Nacht hält die Straßenbahn um Mitternacht (Samstag um 3 Uhr morgens), aber es gibt die ganze Nacht einen Bus alle 20 Minuten. Viele Bushaltestellen erreichen Sie vom Apartment aus bequem zu Fuß.

Auto ist unnötig.

Geschäfte und Restaurants in den Räumlichkeiten finden Sie die Liste der von uns bevorzugten zu Hause zur Verfügung.

Die Villa befindet sich in einer verkehrsberuhigten Straße und ist von privaten Gärten und kleinen Gebäuden umgeben.

Innerhalb von 200 Metern Entfernung erreichen Sie von Montag bis Samstag von 7.00 bis 13.00 Uhr den berühmten in der Stadt und alten Markt für offene Lebensmittel und Gemüse auf der Piazza San Giovanni di Dio. Dieser Markt gilt in Bezug auf Vielfalt und Preise als einer der besten in Rom.

A comfortable home away from home

Nice safe neighborhood with a little ceramic shop a half block away. The women who run it are so talented and kind, and if I could have stayed longer I would have joined them for a class. Nice restaurants within easy walking, and Diana and Anna were very welcoming and helpful.

Great location in rainy and crowded Rome

Very nice place, Anna was very helpful in helping us settle in. Close to transportation, although Rome will be much more accessible from here when the trams start operating again. Enjoyed our first visit to the Eternal City, and this was a good home for exploring.

Comfortable and conveniently located

We really enjoyed our stay here!! It was a comfortable as staying in someone's home, where every detail has been thought of. Diana and Anna were really helpful and friendly. They left milk, coffee, tea and essentials for us, but the shops and restaurants /takeaway were only a short walk away. The tram that went to the centre of Rome was a short walk away. It was so easy to get around. Will love to stay again.

Wonderful Host! Wonderful Place!

Diana, our host, was so helpful and responsive, my wife and I now consider her a friend. The unit is in a modern and well-kept building. The unit is bright, open, and airy. We loved opening the shutters and windows in the morning! It is only 1 bedroom, but very spacious: it has a large eat-in kitchen with a balcony, two bathrooms, a good -size bedroom, a dining area, and a larger patio with table and chairs off of the living area. We stayed a month and couldn’t have been happier!

Feels like home

My wife and I spent 12 days here. Great place for a couple. Diana was very helpful and warm throughout. The apartment is in a perfect neighbourhood if you want to be near central Rome but not in central Rome. Trastevere and central Rome a short bus ride or taxi away. There is a local market nearby which has all you need for fresh produce etc. Good restaurants and Tony’s gelato nearby as well. All in all a place I would recommend for a very enjoyable Roman holiday.

The real Rome

I had visited the tourist parts of Rome several times but this visit was different. Early in the morning I walked to the open air market to buy food. I washed my clothes and hung them in my balcony. In the evenings I walked to the local park with the rest of the neighborhood and ate in open air cafe. It was a side of Rome I had always wanted to see.

Comfortable home in typical Roman neighborhood. Amazing daily market.

Thank you, Diana and Alberto! We stayed for 10 days to explore Rome and work remote (good wifi). I can't say enough of about being down the street from the daily market. We shopped daily and cooked. The tram and bus are closeby for getting into the more central parts of the city. The patio was a lovely spot to relax. Anna, a neighbor in the building, welcomed us and was helpful as we needed including driving us to the airport (in her taxi). The hosts were responsive and proactively checked in on us. Overall, if you're looking for a typical neighborhood just outside the central areas, this is a comfortable stay. And again, the market!

Did not comply with the check-in proceedures

The owner’s written agreement was to check in by appointment only. I stated that I would schedule checkin when we landed at the airport. She, however scheduled the check in time, then charged me for not being there. Our flight was cancelled and we were not able to check in until the following day. We did not ask for a refund for the day we were stuck at the airport. She asked us to clean out the refrigerator upon leaving, even though it was full of outdated items which were there when we arrived. The neighborhood has trash everywhere. One must take a taxi to the sites or a bus. No information was available about bus routes, even though we asked. I would not recommend this rental.

Our Best Rental Experience

Two full months at Diana and Alberto's wonderful flat in Monteverde. - total peace and quiet - one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on - excellent seating in both living and dining - well-equipped kitchen -- you need to look carefully, but in our opinion there's almost everything: we cooked just about every day - perfect wifi - wonderful open-air market at less than 5 minutes' walk, plus a couple of supermarkets between 5 and 10 minutes' walk - excellent weekly professional laundry service for bed, bath, and kitchen linens, plus once-weekly housekeeping - it's an "extra", but we wouldn't have lived without it. - neighborhood totally authentic, no tourists, yet convenient to everything via the number 8 tram and a number of bus lines We'd truly have to struggle to think of anything "negative" about the place. Maybe there could be a vegetable steamer, a bigger pasta pot, more frying pans with covers. Water pressure in the shower could be better. But we're forcing it to make such comments. This apartment is first-class. We've probably rented nearly 100 times over the past 40 years. This is the best.

Als wäre man bei guten Freunden zu Besuch

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an in dem sehr wohnlichen Appartement wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist wirklich alles da, sogar ein kleines erstes Frühstück. Die Kommunikation mit Diana war beispielhaft, der Check-In Prozess mit Anna sehr detailliert und zuvorkommend. Kostenloses Parken ist nur an den umliegenden Straßen möglich, je nach Tageszeit aber extrem schwierig. Für Rom selbst braucht man dann kein Auto mehr. Toll waren die Nähe zum Markt und zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Jederzeit wieder!

Rom - Perfekt

Die Wohnung liegt etwas vom Zentrum entfernt. Das ist vorteilhaft, weil man in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend wohnt, die nicht von Touristen überlaufen ist. Zudem gibt es hier echte römische Geschäfte und Gastronomie. Um zu den zentralen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu kommen nimmt man den Bus 791 und die Metro A, kein Problem. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich ausgestattet mit allem notwendigen Inventar. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die persönliche Betreuung der Gastgeberin, Diana, die sich wirklich um alles kümmert. Wir hatten wg. eines Flughafenstreiks ein Problem mit dem Termin und auch das wurde kurzfristig gelöst. Wir können die Wohnung und unsere Gastgeberin wirklich 100%ig empfehlen.

Very nice home away from home

We were so pleased with our stay. The apartment was so close to a very nice farmer's market that had a great selection of fruits, vegetables, flowers, pastries all for a very reasonable price. Very close to a bus stop to get into town. Figuring out the bus routes is quite another thing! Our hosts could not have been more helpful and easy to communicate with. Thank you!

Loved this stay! Perfect location and neighborhood. Excellent communication with owner. Would absolutely recommend. Lots of nice places to eat within walking distance. Our favorite is Pizzeria La Gianicolense! Also Disney Pizza has some great take home meals. My favorite was the tomatoes and rice with potatoes. Stilvoll eingerichtete ruhige Ferienwohnung, Straßenbahn/Bus nur wenige Schritte Unterkunft mit sehr

elegant eingerichtete, geräumige Ferienwohnung, in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet in Trastevere gelegen, aber nur ca 200 m von Straßenbahn und Bushaltestelle entfernt. Schöner Markt, etliche Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind ganz in der Nähe Schnelle Verbindung in Richtung Piazza di Venezia: ca 15 min. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, zwei Balkons. Check-in und Check-out haben gut geklappt. Vermieterin spricht Englisch. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt.

Great apartment away from the tourists

We loved staying at the Monte Verde apartment. It is a perfect size for an extended stay, with all of the amenities we wanted to cook, wash, and relax. The furnishings are tasteful and in very good shape. The space is quiet and secure, and best of all in an area that isn't overrun with sightseers. All of the essentials are within walking distance - good restaurants and coffee shops - and a fantastic daily market (just 5 minutes away on foot) that has wonderful produce, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, inexpensive wines on tap to fill your own bottles, and much more. On top of that, the local Tram 8 is very easy to use, runs all the time, and makes stops in great areas of the city, such as Trestevere and Piazza Venezia. The hosts, Diana and Alberto, are fine people, fun and very helpful. They've made sure you have everything you need and instructions for living in their home are east to understand. We highly recommend this property.

Appartement très confortable et agréable dans un quartier familial et tranquille,

Accueil très aimable de Diana qui nous avait réservé un taxi à l’aeroport et comme nous sommes arrivés en fin d’après midi avait fait les courses nécessaires à notre petit déjeuner pour le lendemain matin. L’appartement correspond tout à fait à la description. Il est spacieux, une petite terrasse très agréable pour prendre un apéritif le soir. Il est aussi accueillant et très tranquille. Le quartier est aussi agréable, un beau marché à 200 mètres, ainsi que des magasins et de bons restaurants dans la tradition romaine. C’est un quartier de petits immeubles et de villas entourées de jardin. Le tram, très fréquent ( toutes les 5/6 minutes en semaine) et dont l’arrêt est à 200 mètres nous emmène dans le centre , Piazza Venezia, en 20 mn. Nous sommes restés 3 semaines, ce séjour fut très agréable . Nous le recommandons.

Live as a citizen of Rome.

The apartment is perfect for two .We stayed in Rome 8 weeks, and had a lot of guests for dinner partys in the lovely diningroom even in the cosy kitchen. I know, I am not an ordinary tourist of Rome, who only thinks of visiting the amazing historical centrum, which by the way was easy to reached by the tram nr.8 , no problems ! I first of all enjoyed to live as a citizen of Rome and I did my shopping on the foodmarket nearby. And that was a great joy, you could here buy all you need for an italian dinner.I miss it so much, especially the artichokes ! I have rate my stay to five stars, I do not think I need to say more. Only that the owners Diana and Alberto were very friendly, thank you so much ! Arriverderci Ingeborg List

Highly Recommended!

Our 5 night stay at Diana's lovely apartment exceeded our expectations and the location was excellent. It was well furnished, had a very comfortable bed, 2 nice bathrooms, 2 terraces, a well equipped kitchen, excellent wi-fi', the building had an elevator and it was a walk of 2 short blocks to reach tram # 8 to take you into the city. It was very quiet and peaceful. There are several take out places within walking distance and we found that so convenient after spending long days exploring Rome. As well, there are ample small grocery and wine stores close by and the open food market at Piazza San Giovanni which is located right across the street from the # 8 tram stop. Diana is a wonderful hostess; she arranged for our pick up at the airport on our arrival and met us at the apartment. She took us around the neighborhood and pointed out restaurants, small grocery stores. etc. and even took us to the TIM store to get a sim card for our cell phone. Diana also arranged taxis for us on 2 different occasions - for our very early morning tour of the Vatican and again on our day of departure to the Avis car rental office. Absolutely Wonderful

First I would have to start with my initial contact with Diana. From the very start she was quick to response to all my emails and answer all of my questions. From the pictures on the website the apartment looked very nice and comfortable. Upon our arrival I was shocked to see that it was everything that the pictures showed and more... I was delighted. The apartment was clean and fresh and ready for our stay. It has everything you could possibly need...fully equipped kitchen, washer,two bathrooms, two showers, two balconies. The apartment building was beautifully maintained and gave you a feeling of privacy and safety . The neighborhood was quiet and safe. It was only a block walk to the #8 Tram line that takes you into Rome along with the H bus that takes you to the train station...in other words the transportation aspect was great. My husband and I could not believe how lucky we were to have selected Diana's and Alberto's apartment. The apartment was professional cleaned once and week so everything was always nice and neat. Diana was only a text or email away if we had questions. The farmers market that is located about two blocks away and runs Monday-Saturday from 8-1:00 was unreal it made you want to cook. We could not have asked for more in our 2 month stay. One other thing I must say because we were staying for an extended period of time I'm so happy that we were outside of Rome (about 20 minutes by Tram or Bus) when I was first planning this trip I wanted to be in Ancient Rome..but in reality it would have been sensory overload..instead we could go back to the neighborhood at night and have nice evenings away from the Tourist. Diana and Alberto are wonderful people...you can rent their apartment knowing you are in good hands.

Alberto, was born in Milano, Diana was born in Napoli, a good blend of Italian flavours, North and South together. The both of us were Managers in Multinational Companies in Operations and Purchasing myself , and Commercial and Marketing Diana, before starting this new life in hospitality.
Alberto loves to talk about economics and is passionate of Sudoku. Diana is graduate in Italian Letterature, is a fantastic chef and an heavy reader. Our Houses are full of book in Italian, English and different languages. Some are a kind present from our past Guests.

We love people and good companies, we love good food and good wine. Both of us are Sommelier.

We own and rent apartments and villa in Spoleto in our Historic House le Logge di Silvignano and this cosy Apartment in Roma.

We own our Apartment in Roma since 1999, when we married after 6 year of life in common. It was our “nest” in Roma, where to hide coming back from our business trips around Europe, busy and stressed managers. Meanwhile, we began the restoration of our Historic House of Le Logge di Silvignano in Spoleto, our big project for our future life together.
The restoration was completed in 2002, we began to live and manage our Hospitality business in Silvignano, sometimes moving to Roma for a visit to our daughter and grandchildren.

Then, our Guests of Le Logge di Silvignano (often turned into good friends) asked us to make them available our Apartment and we are now glad to do the same for couples who can appreciate and respect our “nest”.
