Das Touristenapartment besteht aus einem Wohnzimmer mit einer gut ausgestatteten Küchenzeile mit Blick auf den exklusiven Garten, zwei Schlafzimmern mit zwei kompletten Badezimmern, einem anmutigen und stillen Garten und einer Terrasse mit Tisch, Stühlen und Sonnenschirm. Es befindet sich in Gianicolo, zwischen der Villa Pamphyli, dem Gianicolo-Park und der Villa Sciarra. Trastevere und den Vatikan erreichen Sie zu Fuß und die Piazza Venezia mit einem einzigen Bus in 10 Minuten.
Die Wohnung wurde kürzlich renoviert und ist komfortabel, einschließlich einer Waschmaschine. Die umliegenden Straßen sind lebendig, gute Restaurants, angenehme Bars, Konditoreien, Geschäfte, Banken. Auf fünfzig Metern gibt es einen Freiluftmarkt und auf 200 Metern einen großen Supermarkt. Hier kann man als Römer leben und nicht nur als Tourist. Man kann also frische Lebensmittel kaufen und leckere Gerichte in Restaurants genießen, ohne übertriebene Beträge bezahlen zu müssen. Wonderful Neighbor and Host!

We loved staying in Gianicolo Hill and Milena was wonderful. The apartment and neighbor gave a great place to rest after a crowded busy day in Rome. Milena showed us where to find groceries, good food, bus tickets, and how to navigate the routes. The apartment was perfect with great AC after the 90 degree days. I would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Was clean but needs updates and a clearer understanding of the distance to all the main attractions, such as Vatican City is a good 40-45 minutes away though traffic,bus or train by walking. Also the apartment is basically underground or in the basement so be aware of that as well. Host was kind and wanted to be helpful with directions or activities. Best part was the outside terrace or patio which was our initial attraction to the property.

First Visit to Rome!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The host was friendly, kind and easy to work with. It was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city, quiet neighborhood and if the weather had been better we would have enjoyed the patio! The place is as advertised. One note about location: the walk to the Vatican is about a 40 minute walk, a little farther than we understood, but was worth the walk. In regards to the unit: it has a washing machine, but no dryer. There is a stove top, but no oven. Thank you Milena!

Lovely quiet spot

We had an incredible stay at this VRBO in Rome! The location was perfect - we were able to walk to many of the city's top attractions, including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating, providing us with helpful tips and recommendations for our visit. The apartment itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a cute terrace overlooking the city. Great Stay in Trastevere across the Tiber River

We had the best stay here in Trastevere Across the river from Rome. The Host Milena and her husband were Great. Giving us a ride on our first day, showing us the local sites and places to Grocery Shop and Dine. The Condo was very clean and very safe. With a beautiful private terrace.The Condo is in a fantastic location with Bus stops and Taxi Stands within a 2-block area. Take the #75 bus and it will take you to the Colosseum and the Termini Train Station. It Stops right out in front of the Condo. We really didn't want to Leave!!

Maurizio went above and beyond by taking us on a whirlwind tour of the area, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the city he clearly loves.The absolute best part? The bus stop is right out the front door, making all of Rome easily accessible. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. This place is truly a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to return! Lovely spot in Monteverde

We had a very pleasant stay here over the New Year period. It is a great location in a calm residential area, but still near enough to the centre of Rome. We had very mild weather when we stayed, so even in Winter we were able to use the outdoor area which was such a bonus in Rome.

Would happily stay here again

Sparkling clean, comfortable home, wonderful hosts, nice to be in a quiet non-touristy area to feel like you are living with the locals. The apartment is an easy 45 minute walk to Vatican City, however, the bus system can get you anywhere quickly. Bus 75 stops right in front of the apartment and also stops right in front of the Colosseum. Maurizio gave us a lovely tour of the area including a very helpful panoramic view of Rome city center where he pointed out different historic monuments and gave some historical perspective. The only con we can think of is that the mattress in the master bedroom was a bit too hard. Not so hard that we couldn't sleep but we would have preferred a little more give in the mattress. The second room's single beds were foam (we think) and were more comfortable. Milena kindly gave us a ride to the train station at the end of our stay. She and Maurizio were delightful!

Very Nice Property

Wonderful location up on a hill where it’s quieter and cooler than down in Rome proper, but easy to get into Rome. Great little open air market a block away. Milena is very helpful and her husband gave us an amazing tour of the area with a lot of historical information. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was welcome and the patio was lovely.

The perfect host

Melania is the perfect host: her communication is excellent in its detail and in the quickness in response, she readily agreed to do some shopping for us before we arrived, and she arranged for taxis to pick us up at the airport. As well as these qualities, I was pleasantly surprised by how Melania is able to anticipate our needs: there was a needle and various cotton threads, laundry detergent, hand sanitizer, and helpful notes.

Plenty of room

My daughter spent the semester in Rome. I came to spend time in Europe with her before she returned home. We had plenty of space with a lot of luggage to sort through. Highly recommend staying!!

We enjoyed our stay! We are a family of 5 and found we had enough room for us. The apparent was very clean and Milena and her husband where very helpful and always available. When we arrived, they took us around to show us around the neighborhood and how to get to the city center. We took the bus one day with no issues and walked a lot. I highly recommend staying here!!
