Lage, Lage, Lage! Dieses neu renovierte Strandhaus in El Porto liegt nur drei Türen vom Strand entfernt und ist die perfekte Wahl für Ihren Strandurlaub. Entspannen Sie sich auf der Schaukel der Veranda und beobachten Sie die Wellen des Ozeans! Das Haus wurde kürzlich renoviert (Oktober 2016) und bewahrt den ursprünglichen Charme, aber mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten und Design. Offenes Konzept mit einem Queen-Size-Schlafzimmer und vier Badezimmern. Es gibt Holzböden im gesamten. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und es gibt einen separaten Essbereich. Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich ein Schlafsofa, auf dem zwei Erwachsene bequem schlafen können. Es gibt einen separaten gemeinsamen Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner in voller Größe sowie unbegrenzt kostenlosem WIFI- und Verizon Fios-Kabel-TV mit Filmkanälen. Es gibt auch eine große Terrasse mit Essbereich für vier Personen und einen neuen Gasgrill. Dies ist eine seltene Ware mit einem Haus so nah am Strand! Perfect beach house for a summer in Manhattan Beach

Jim’s beach house was a fantastic place to spend two months in Manhattan Beach. I was working remotely while I was there and didn’t have any issues with the wifi, even with multiple video calls every day. The house is super close to the beach and has everything you need for a comfortable long-term stay. Jim and the property manager, Andrea, were incredibly responsive and the communication was great before and during my stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable house in a safe and welcoming community near the beach.

Wonderful location

We rented this cottage for 3 days over Thanksgiving to be near a family gathering. It is a cute beach cottage, a couple of blocks from the water. Very clean accommodations, comfortable for 2 people. Nothing fancy, yet all the basics are there. The bikes were a great perk! Luckily for us, the upstairs tenant was away for most of our visit and we did not have to share the bikes or co-ordinate the tandem parking ins and outs until our last day. That would have been annoying to deal with on a daily basis. The owner was very nice to deal with.

Cute, cozy and very close to beach

We loved our month long stay. It was so nice to take a quick walk to the beach and hear the ocean from the unit. Even though it is surrounded by many other apartment buildings the neighbors are all very quiet, respectful and friendly. The little patio is an added bonus. Owner and property manager were both helpful and responded quickly. The only hassle is parking. There are 2 spaces but parking is tandem so we had to coordinated with tenant in the other unit to shuffle cars. We lucked out because the other tenant was very kind and was gone at work most days so we could get our car out much of the time without moving his car.

Sehr hilfsbereite und nette Vermieter. Bei Problemen wurde umgehend Abhilfe geschaffen. Das Haus liegt in laufnähe zum Strand, in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend. Alles was für einen entspannten Urlaub notwendig ist, ist in der Wohnung vorhanden. Toll war, dass Nahrungsmittel (Kaffee, Gewürze, Öl usw.) in der Wohnung vorhanden waren, dass erleichtert den Start.

Summer at Manhattan Beach

I travel with my family to spend the summer and for my daughter to participate in beach volleyball tournaments. The experience was amazing. The apartment was cozy and provided with all that we needed. The location was perfect for us. Is located nearby the Manhattan beach pier and Hermosa beach where the biggest tournaments takes place. We enjoy using the bikes to go to the beach snd an early run in the strand. We love this place.

Review of Property in Manhattan Beach

Oceanview House in Manhattan Beach is what you would visualise if you were imagining a traditional beach house in sunny California and is exactly as described in the listing! An endearing wooden structure, literally 2 minutes walk to the beach, in a chilled out residential area of Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles and a PERFECT match to what we had dreamed of staying in when we set out on our month long adventure in the US. The owners met us on arrival and were most accomodating in welcoming us to the property, explaining the amenaties (including the wifi code - a must these days) and were most passionate about a property they referred to as 'home'! Decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard, but with a traditional beach house feel, this property IS most definitely a home! In fact, we spent an evening in Las Vegas while staying at the property and on returning, we both said 'it's good to be home'! Everything you could possibly need during your stay is available for use at the property including bikes, surf board, beach chairs and parasol, BBQ and all internal items right down to the salt and pepper! However, the highlight of staying at this property is most definitely its' location. As soon as you step on to the street, leaving the comfort of the swing seat on the porch behind, the sand is with you, blowing up from the beach, you're THAT close! We felt like locals taking our chairs and boards the few steps round the corner to our daily dose of paradise, which included a walk or cycle ride along the salubrious Strand to Manhattan Beach Pier or a coffee and croissant in a local eaterie! Although we have been to Manhattan Beach before, this trip was for a special occasion and the beach house made it even more special - a traditional American beach house experience! Should we revisit this area of the States again we would have no hesitation in staying here, in fact we would be disappointed if we were unable to. If your looking for something truly authentic then this is the place! WONDERFUL!

Adorable House in an A+ Location!

We stayed in the lower unit of this great little beach house for a little over a month. It was a fantastic experience. The apartment was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The location was amazing - a 3 minute walk to the beach. The owner and manager were wonderful to deal with - completely responsive and friendly. We can’t recommend this rental enough and will definitely stay there again when our travels bring us back to Manhattan Beach.

Lovely compact house - great location

My daughter and I stayed here for the month of April in 2017 for her to attend some specialist physiotherapy. We stayed in the upstairs apartment which has everything that you could need. The apartment is well equipped and in a great location so close to the beach. Jim was incredibly kind and even took the time to fill up the fridge and cupboards ready for our arrival.

Perfect house, perfect location!

We have never been to Manhattan Beach before and we were not disappointed! The house was adorable, clean, and in a perfect location! We didn't need a car at all! The beach and overall area is beautiful and with the beach cruisers it's about a 10 min bike ride into the downtown pier area where there's just about every kind of restaurant and shopping you can think of- not to mention the bike path is all along the beach with a beautiful view! We were so happy this rental worked out on such a last minute vacation! Beautiful place and we hope to stay here again soon in the near future! :)

Fabulous beach house!

Our stay in Manhattan Beach was very last minute. We had arranged another place which did not meet our standards and had to leave unexpectedly. Luckily, this adorable place came up for a fantastic deal. The place was utterly charming, clean, and close to excellent restaurants and the beach. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to stay again! My only recommendation would be to provide more basics - i.e. shampoo/conditioner, coffee, tea, ketchup and what not. We are used to places that have those basics and thus did not come prepared. Other than that, no complaints! Fabulous place.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We had a last minute cancellation so it allowed us to offer it at a very good rate! Typically our rentals are longer than one week so we generally only provide the basic toiletries to get our guests started. I think it's a good idea though to have some basic kitchen supplies on hand so I appreciate the feedback.

Best California Beach Vacation

We had a great 7 day stay in Manhattan Beach. The location of the beach house was perfect - close to the beach; an easy drive or bike ride to other beaches; grocery stores and shops and to other parts of LA County. The upper unit was perfect for the 2 of us, although it does sleep 3 with the pull out. It had everything we needed in terms of amenities including great wi-fi and full cable TV not to mention it was very clean, and charming! If there was one small thing to improve it would be access to the bikes as most days we didn't have the large bike for our use as the tenant in lower unit used the bike weekdays all day. I would definitely consider renting this property again!

Great beach house vacation!

We had a fantastic 5 day stay at the Manhattan beach house. The upper unit has everything you need (kitchen, towels, linens) and with included access to bikes and beach items it was ideal for us. The place is well decorated, clean and incredibly charming. We loved the back patio and the upper balcony. The location is prime, quiet and close to good restaurants in Manhattan Beach. We loved it!

Our 2nd stay – A great find & a great location!!

We really enjoyed our 2nd stay at this rental home in Manhattan Beach! And here’s what I really liked & appreciated about the home & the benefits of staying there: It’s in a great neighborhood; friendly neighbors, just felt “safe” there. A major convenience: You have a place to park! Don’t have to go find a parking spot on the street. That’s a plus, especially when you’re coming in late @ 2am!! The location is great b/c it’s a block from the beach, the Strand & the bike path!! What more could you ask for! Luv the “Strand” for walking, getting exercise & enjoying the ocean view… taking photos of beautiful sunsets..... Our daughter did comparison price shopping for a rental in the area. This home was the best: their rates are fair, the same as their competition EXCEPT the competition does not have a private patio! We enjoyed several meals out there. Another convenience is: the washer & dryer in the laundry room is right next to the kitchen. The owners provide bikes for cruising on the bike path, very thoughtful! My husband & I also enjoyed the swing on the front porch! If you’ve never been, Manhattan Beach is the best! You’d never know it was in L.A. It’s a sweet community & very convenient w/lots of restaurants & a stone’s throw for L.A. airport. The owner is really nice, easy to work with. This 1 bedroom home works perfectly for the 2 of us & that’s where we’ll stay on our next trip to L.A!!!

Perfect mix for business or pleasure

Our family's week-long stay at this property in Manhattan Beach exceeded our expectations and we hope to return again. The proximity to LAX airport and several F1000 companies like Boeing, IBM, etc will make it one of my top options next time I'm in the area on business. Clean, bright, and beautifully furnished, the apartment we rented gave our family enough room to relax, eat-in, and rest in comfort. WiFi was fast and easy. The short walk to the beach made the sunsets a magnet for us to visit every evening. The beach chairs and bikes were included and gave us a chance to explore the area in different ways. The variety of breakfast restaurants just a few short blocks away gave us something new to try each morning. Manhattan Beach was lovely, modern, walkable, and easy to explore. The property was ideal for our local outings to the ocean, shops, restaurants, and even day trips to LA and San Diego. We loved the decor. The provided linens and towels made packing simple for this trip, and the laundry room was reliable and easy. I'd recommend this property for a family trip, personal break, business travel or romantic getaway. Having a car is not necessary, but parking options are plentiful and worry-free. We especially loved that the apartment was smoke-free. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely want to return in the future.

Perfect Cozy Beach Cottage!

The Best of the Beach

This adorable little beach house/apartment is just what you are looking for to be close to the beach and comfortable. It is stocked with what you will need for your stay. I came and loved it so much I extended my time there. It is just a 1/2 block to the beautiful Strand and the pier, restaurants, shops in Manhattan Beach are within walking distance. Bikes, backyard, barbecue, chairs and waher/dryer-- all you will need-taxi from the airport- you don't even need a car! I highly recommend this beach vacation getaway! Perfect Beach Vacation Rental

I was fortunate to find this lovely beach cottage to rent for 3 months last summer. The house is in a perfect location and only 1/2 block to the strand and beach and in walking distance to restaurants nearby. The apartment was very clean, bright, cheerful, and had plenty of amenities to make it comfortable. The apartment setup is ideal for 2 or 3 people to stay. The backyard grill, table and chairs, and beach bikes were an added bonus. The manager is also very friendly and helpful. I loved my vacation in Manhattan Beach and I can not wait to book my next stay!

10/10 – Hervorragend

relaxed beach house

just 2 min. walk from the beach, clean, nice, comfortable place where you can feel like at home in LA ! I had a very nice and relaxed stay there and would definitely book it again when I am back in LA for surfing.
