IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
- CHECK-IN PROCESS - Checking in at your FIELDTRIP home is now easier than ever. FIELDTRIP's guidebook contains everything you need to know. From reservation details, property information, check-in instructions, local recommendations and add-on services to enhance your stay, you'll find it all here.
- PARKING - Guests are limited to a maximum of 6 cars, depending on size. Renters and their daytime guests should park in the garage or driveway. There is NO on-street parking available. To avoid ticketing or towing, please ensure all cars are not extending into or blocking the sidewalk.
- PETS - Pets are permitted with the receipt of a pet fee. The fee is $150 per pet, up to 3 pets. Please inquire about Service Animals and next steps to waive the fees.
- EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT - Stay a little longer and add up to 2 hours before or after your arrival for $75/hour. Half days (11am arrival or 4pm departure) are also available for 50% of the nightly rate for the night needing to be blocked to accommodate. - DELIVERIES - We are unable to accept packages at the homes. Please plan accordingly and utilize holding packages at the local post office or nearby Amazon Lockers.
- EVENTS / RETREATS - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Small events within our permitting requirements are considered. Written approval and an additional Event fee is required.
- PHOTO/VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos for personal use (and feel free to tag us @stayfieldtrip). Drones are not permitted due to county restrictions. Please note that we charge production fees for all commercial, professional, promotional, editorial, and or revenue-generating photography and videography shot on the property. For these activities, we require payment in advance along with a signed production agreement, production insurance, and a location release. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT IF YOUR SHOOT IS COMMERCIAL, PLEASE INQUIRE FIRST. Any guests found to be doing a commercial shoot will have their reservation canceled. Any commercial shoots discovered during or after a stay will be responsible for the production fee.
LOCATION Tide House sits just one block from the sand in Manhattan Beach's iconic Sand Section, placing you steps from the Strand and some of the best beaches in Southern California. Walk to local cafés, acclaimed restaurants, and upscale boutiques in Downtown Manhattan Beach. Manhattan Village and other shopping destinations are just a few minutes away by car. LAX is less than 15 minutes away, making arrivals and departures effortless. For a day trip, Venice and Santa Monica are within a scenic 30-minute drive up the coast.

Very well equipped kitchen! Beautifully furnished entire place. We didn’t get to explore the area but it really looked like a quiet little beach town. Would definitely recommend!

A very nice kitchen, bathroom and bed. Very nice location. Very nice linens and closet. No dining table and no drawers in bedroom for clothes. Limited view out windows.Very good wifi and TV.

The space was accommodating to pets with artificial grass. They had every thing you needed for cooking if you chose to. Very nicely done. Parking is tricky for large cars.

The townhouse style apartment appears new, clean, and well maintained. It has a full set of dishware, utensils, cookware and cutlery suitable for four people. And, the location is ideal -- one block off the main drag where restaurants and coffee shops abound -- and the double paned windows do an excellent job of blocking traffic noise. We brought our dog bed and she relaxed comfortably at the foot of the bed in the single bedroom.

Clean new smelled good mattress wasn’t great but I know that’s totally subjective. There’s some construction happening the street behind, but that won’t last forever. Other than that great place to stay.

I enjoyed staying in the unit very much and would do so again. Here’s a few things to improve: Shower drain is terrible! While showering there is an inch and a half to two inches of water on the shower floor. If two people shower one after the other the water comes very close to overflowing into the bathroom. Also, all of the towels were wet when we arrived; No laundry soap could be found. Keypad entry instructions could be improved.
