Weque South is located in the beautifully lush town of Fennville. Sprawling farmlands and private drives along Lake Michigan lead you to believe you are miles and miles away from civilization, when in fact you are mere minutes from some of the best culture Michigan has to offer! This area has been developing over the years and has quickly become a hotspot on the travel map, with its cute cafes, delicious restaurants, abundance of wineries and breweries, and plentiful orchards.

Only 10 minutes up the road, you land in the darling towns of Saugatuck & Douglas. These sister towns have a storied history of incredible beauty, divine cuisine, and a killer art scene. From small businesses that have been operating for decades to fresh, new pop-ups, there is something for everyone in this thriving cultural center voted Best Beach Town by Midwest Living Magazine.

The nearby Oval Beach is only 15 minutes away, and Conde Nast Traveler has ranked it in the top 25 best shorelines in the world! That's right, the WORLD! State-known hiking and biking trails fill the area, and gorgeous state parks with majestic forested dunes line the shoreline. There is no shortage of incredible offerings, no matter what you're into. Chill at the house and take in the peaceful surroundings, head into town for shopping and dining, hit the trails and immerse yourself in nature, or bask on one of the many beaches along the shoreline. Enter the front door to the bright main level, which features gorgeous hardwood floors, an airy chef’s kitchen fully stocked with all the basics you need to entertain at home, and flowing open concept spaces perfect for entertaining. Every room is connected to the natural beauty of this lakefront property with large windows and doors that let the outside in. Tastefully and comfortably furnished in subtle tones, the space has been tailor-made for appreciating the stunning Lake Michigan sunset in cozy, laid-back style. Head back out to the wide front porch featuring outdoor seating and dining, or take a walk on the lush grounds. We can’t forget to mention that Weque South has private beach access right from the backyard! Pack a beach bag, grab a towel, and start your descent down the stairs to the sandy shores below. You’ll be enjoying sunsets right on the beach, or take to the top of the bluff and catch it from there!

Weque South is under a 10-minute drive to Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, Douglas Beach, and various Wineries/Breweries. Don't feel like driving? No problem there! The Saugatuck Township Interurban Transit Authority offers pick-ups and drop-offs for only $1 each way to anywhere in Saugatuck Township. Simply call in the moment or ahead and reserve a time and pick-up/drop-off location, and your chariot awaits!

Want to venture out into the rest of Michigan's Art Coast? Downtown South Haven and Holland are only a 20-minute drive away and offer a whole different vibe filled with other activities to explore!

Construction next door is planned to be complete by October 2025, but the timeline is not within our control. Weque South is a Lakefront Home sitting on a bluff overlooking our beautiful Lake Michigan. Pier Cove Beach is a 5-minute drive north.

We love our pets! We invite you to bring up to 2 doggies.
Our Pet Fee is $145 and will include a Pet Basket for you to use during your stay: Food and Water Bowls, Waste Bags, Lavender Pet Shampoo, Pet Stain Remover, Puppy Towel, and a little Treat :) Woof Woof!
