This place is fabulous! What a great place for the family to enjoy each other…and the views! We were there in snow so we didn’t get to experience the firepit or outside playground but they looked very inviting. The pool, hot tub and game room were a big hit! The amenities were excellent…kitchen was well supplied and linens good quality! The place was clean throughout. We were there during the Olympics so the Roku tv got plenty of use!The host could not have been better! He answered all questions and was available for contact. We were all verrry impressed!

This property was everything I could have asked for! We had three generations from age 1 to 60. So much to do indoors and out. Three large living areas, game room for the kids, pool, hot tub and bar area. Multiple areas to eat. Large well stocked kitchen. Outdoors there is a large fire pit and playground on a very quiet and peaceful waterfront where you can fish or kayak. There is a well lit outdoor deck as well as barbecue. The front lawn was great for playing ball. All but one bedroom had bathrooms and it was great because each family had their own bathroom. The master suite was very spacious with an outdoor balcony. There were 15 of us and this house gave you enough places to have alone time or gather all together. Thank you Dave for being a great host!

The host David is ok a bit hard to get a hold of or respond i should say. Pool for sure could have been warmer. We love the property. We'd been there several times and love it there. Visit to the local wineries and Shaffers is very nice good food! Absolutely will be back.

Amazing home!

This was the perfect house for the occasion, the rooms were spacious and there was a lot of spaces to gather. We didn’t leave for the whole weekend and it was amazing. The property is beautiful and the lake is serene. Thanks for letting us stay! Would love to come back.

Great House w/indoor pool

This property was perfect for our entire family of 10 adults and 5 children ages 6-1. It was a good thing we had the indoor pool as we happened to be there during a week long heat wave and it was unbearable to be outside. The only downside was that the ceiling fans had no remotes to control lights and fans which made some rooms extremely hot. The location is lovely and the house is stocked with many items you never get in any other vacation rental property. We had a very memorable family vacation. David was a very receptive host throughout the entire process.

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was wonderful. We did wish we could warm up the house a little more. We loved that the house had so many bathrooms. The only improvement would be to state that there are 5 bedrooms with en-suites.

Birthday weekend

Celebrated my wife’s special birthday and our family from NY, CT, TX, PA and MD all stayed for the weekend. 12 of us. Plenty of space to all gather together or gather in smaller groups. Game room, pool and hot tub were probably the two favorite places to hang out. Oh and you can’t forget the view overlooking the Bohemia River. Beautiful house.

This site offers something for everyone outdoors and indoors for the active and inactive. On our last day, my grandson (10) was already talking about “next year...” Pictures are accurate. It's a spacious out-of-the-way retreat for young and old.

Miller Getaway

It is a beautiful place. It was a perfect fit for our family. The game room and the pool were a huge hit with everyone we made tons of memories that will last a lifetime. The cleaning crew is amazing. The place was spotless. My wife accidentally misplaced her diamond wedding ring and the host contacted us immediately to let us know the cleaning crew had found it. My wife was absolutely relieved to hear that they found it. We already booked our stay for next year!! Thank you!!

The house is very impressive! We loved many things about it. It was very clean. The pool and porches were very good. . The setting is impressive. We were 11 family members ranging from 62-82. Family gathering for a wedding

I booked this house for my family to stay for my son’s wedding. It was an amazing property. We loved everything.There is enough space to spread out. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was amazing and ended up being the gathering spot! The views are spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the porch catching up. Quiet and captivating! The perfect getaway. This is an amazing property. 5 stars!

The lower bunkbed in the laundry area had sheets that smelled like urine. The walls in the two bedrooms by the laundry room were dirty. The dresser in one of the bedrooms was missing handles. Most of the remotes in the house did not work. In the bedroom next to the kitchen the faucet handle in the bathroom came completely off. The air hockey table was broken. The fireplaces in the game room and living room did not work. The chlorine level in the pool was so high that it severely irritated the skin of the kids and even caused one of the kids who accidentally breathed in water to become ill and had an inflamed throat for a couple of days. The internet constantly dropped out ruining the ability to have Christmas movie night with the grandchildren. They were unable to use the electronics they received as gifts. For the amount of money that we spent on this getaway it was extremely disappointing and put a damper on the entire trip. I feel, as does the entire family that we should receive some sort of refund for all of the inconveniences we had to go through.

I apoligize for the inconvenience that you have faced , although I do believe you are being rather unfair . I checked all the tvs the only one that did not work was the master bedroom , also the pool is a saltwater pool and does not have clorine , the hotub does but we check it weekly to keep the levels in range !! To say that the internet was constantly cutting out is also inaccurate!! We also always wash all our sheets on ALL OF THE Beds !! At any rate if you were unhappy with ur stay you are more than welcome to call and I would be happy to assist you with any of the concerns that you may have !! Thank you !!

Gorgeous Home

This is a gorgeous home with plenty of room for all 10 of us!!! The kids loved the pool and I loved the hot tub!!! The game room and fire pit were also much used. The kitchen is well equipped. There are several sitting areas so we could spread out. I enjoyed daily walks in the quiet neighborhood and the fall trees were beautiful. We did have a snafu at checkin but it was quickly resolved.

Fabulous setting, house and grounds-perfect for intergenerational family vacation

David’s place was absolutely amazing-setting is unbelievably gorgeous and the house and grounds were fabulous. There were 15 of us from 9 months to 70. There was plenty of space for all of us to eat together both inside and out. Breakfast was usually at the kitchen counter, and lunch outside on the deck since the weather was great and it was in shade until later in the afternoon. Dinner was either in the dining room or outside on the grassSome highlights -The indoor pool was fantastic - and was used constantly by all of us. The kids loved all the water toys that were available to play with (and we left behind several more), and many of the adults also enjoyed the hot tub.-The kayaks were great, and saw a lot of use too. There were life jackets available for both adults and kids.-The play structure was a big hit with the kids, and the nearby hammock was a great place to relax in the shade while keeping an eye on the kids.-The firepit was awesome. We made a fire almost every night, making s’mores and enjoying adult beverages.-The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with a variety of pots, pans, cutting boards, serving bowls etc which made cooking meals for a large crowd easy. There was a coffee maker/keurig and electric kettle for those who need their morning caffeine fix. -There were a ton of toddler toys and books and even an exersaucer for the 9 month old! David was great about responding to my questions before and during our stay.It was a magical week!

Highly recommend! Great for large groups.

Our group had a wonderful stay at this home. We had a large group with a few infants and toddlers but there was more than enough space for everyone. The indoor pool and hot tub were definitely the highlight. The pool is surrounded by a fence with safety gates so we never felt unsafe with the little ones in the house. We also really enjoyed using the two kayaks that are kept in the house, one is a single and the other is a 2 person. Since we enjoyed the pool so much we didn't make it into the river until our trip was nearly over but if I could do it again I wouldn't make that mistake. The water around the dock is only a few feet deep and felt like beach sand under your feet. We had a blast floating in rafts, swimming, kayaking around the dock. Everyone in our group was very happy with sleeping arrangements, the kitchen, dining room, game room, seating areas, etc. The pictures online are accurate but I think it was actually better in person. Our communication with David before the trip was a breeze and he was always quick to respond. We didn't have a single issue that required his attention while staying there. The cleanliness of the house was a 10/10. Zero complaints there, the staff did a great job.
