20’ X 20’ Newly refurbished studio apartment above detached garage for a romantic getaway, 1 child families, Girls’ Weekend or just one person who wants some peace and quiet! Walk down the steps and this view is what you see. Grab a couple of chairs and enjoy the best sunsets in the world! Walking distance to three beaches. Public beach (general admission but free parking if want to drive 1 minute), marina beach (shorter walk but can’t drive there), or closer walk to secluded beach. Short driving distance to some of the best towns to explore on Upper Bay – Chesapeake City (15 minutes), Northeast (.5 hour), Chestertown (.5 hour), Rock Hall ( 45 minutes), Saint Michaels ( I hour). Annapolis is a scenic one hour drive. Check out a different town or two each day! 3 WINERIES ARE 15 MINUTES OR LESS AWAY. Great hiking. Local restaurant in beach for great comfort food or just a drink is walking distance from property. Other restaurants are 15 minutes away. Amenities include: parking for one vehicle, free Wi-Fi, access to outside shower, central air, beach chairs to watch sunsets, towels, sheets, cooler, free bags of ice etc. 2 Night minimum, have to be over 25 years of age, no smoking, no pets. Access to park Waverunner/small boat in nearby Lot. Local boat ramp with fee for small boats. Cheaper rates for weekdays and Fall Season. COME SEE WHAT THE UPPER CHESAPEAKE BAY IS ALL ABOUT!

We had to delay our stay at this wonderful place until this past weekend and were rewarded with three days of spectacular sunsets, lovely fall colors, terrific seafood, and European-quality wines from local Maryland and Delaware vintners. (We highly recommend Crow Vineyard and Winery). The room itself was perfect for us, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfy bed and cozy living room. Hostess extraordinaire Betty Ann Baffone was always available to answer our questions and provide local recommendations that were always spot on. The bench on the beach just a few steps from the property was the perfect place for sunsets and boat watching. We will definitely be back! If we could award more than five stars, we would. Thanks, Betty Ann!

Property was just as described, beautiful and fully stocked. We saw a beautiful sunset the night we arrived. Neighbors were friendly. The weather wasn't as nice as we hoped so we did check out a day early. I definitely recommend this property and we would stay here again!

This was such a wonderful stay with such an amazing view. The whole community would come out on their golf carts and watch the sunset each evening over the Chesapeake. We had such great hosts and the space was clean and well maintained. Definitely would recommend.

It is a cute cozy space that my husband and I went to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. The owners, Betty Ann and Gery, were very nice and accommodating. They also made great recommendations for restaurants and places to go. The views were breathtaking and we were able to ride our bikes around for miles. It was exactly what we wanted for a weekend away to relax and enjoy our time together!

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I were there for our anniversary weekend. Hosts were very friendly, had good recommendations, and place was modern and clean! We enjoyed the beach area, sunsets and walks in the neighborhood. We brought our own kayaks and fished... caught lots of catfish!! We brought our bikes for Chesapeake City.We enjoyed the Bohemia Manor Winery nearby. Great sunsets and great memories! Thanks again!

The experience we had during our stay was truly delightful. Ants in the kitchen, party at house connected with loud yelling into the night. Bed was very uncomfortable. Apartment over the garage and was horrible toxic fumes in every room. Place was so bad we left a day early and this was my birthday weekend. No compensation offered. Even beach hown the street charged 8 dollars each for entry. My husband was against leaving a review, I want next renters to see what they are signing up for

Perfect

So much better than a motel! This was perfect for my husband and I to stay while visiting family! Nice little living room area, full kitchen with everything you need, beautiful view and super nice hosts! The place was spotless, quiet neighborhood, short drive to shopping. Would definitely stay here again! There is only parking for one car, and not really any additional parking in the neighborhood so only bring one car. Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

Don’t miss out on this if you want a relaxing trip, or if you do want to explore the area there’s plenty of great small towns in the area, also an easy drive to some of the most iconic cities along the Chesapeake Bay.
