Perfect

Ryad is a great host and the property was exactly as stated. Pool was clean. Kitchen superbly stocked. Great open floor plan. Close to O’Caines and Henry’s to catch games. Already looking forward to our next visit, which is booked.

Relaxing, beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Sabrina. It's a beautiful home and in a great location. The beds were all very comfortable! The house is very roomy and we felt right at home yet on vacation. :) Ryad was a great host and responded quickly to questions.

Nice desert oasis

The property was lovely and a great getaway for a couple. Looks like a good property for families too. My only issue was that there seemed to have been some food in the fridge that we couldn’t tell if it was from the previous stay or if it was meant to be shared between guests. We weren’t sure so we just let it be and threw our own stuff out when our stay was over. There was also some weird flying insects coming into the bathroom. Aside from that, it was a wonderful place we hope to come back to again!

Hi Josh, Thank you very much for the nice review, and thank you for your feedback. My cleaning crew has a detailed and rigorous cleaning and sanitizing protocol. The housekeeping checklist includes emptying out and cleaning the refrigerator. It looks like the “emptying out” step was missed and will be rectified going forward. I use a pest control company that treats my house once a month. While this service helps control common house and garden bugs, it is not full proof, especially against airborne insects. What you saw were flying ants which was treated immediately after your departure. These pests are common, not dangerous, they don’t bite, and they come looking for humidity in the summer months. The house was treated professionally, and these bugs should be kept at bay. All the best, Ryad

Exceptional experience and service during our stay at Dar Sabrina

Dar Sabrina is a quiet, luxurious and welcoming oasis that is enhanced by superlative service provided by the owner, Ryad. The home has a lovely pool and spa with a small waterfall, along with lemon and orange trees, that add to the secluded ambiance of the backyard. The chaise lounges are comfortable, the patio has shaded seating for meals, and there is a plentiful supply of floaties to loll in while sipping a frosty beverage. The kitchen is very spacious, well-stocked with necessary supplies, and well-equipped with a variety of appliances available that makes meal and drink preparation easy. The living room has a huge TV screen and impressive sound system that we used to watch March Madness after our day in the sun. We really enjoyed watching the games and reading books while lounging on either the large sofa or the retro chair and ottoman in the room. The bedrooms are spacious, there is extensive closet space, but the master bathroom is simply amazing. The shower is a large, hot-water sanctuary with five shower heads and a seat to relax on while you allow the water to cascade around you, or you can fill up the adjacent tub for a relaxing bath. The tasteful decor has a delightful North African emphasis throughout the home that makes it distinctive and colorful and is reflective of the owner's care and investment in the property. In addition, there have been some recent upgrades, such as a new thermostat for heating and cooling that makes the environment easy to maintain a desired level of comfort. It is this last aspect that showcased the remarkable attentiveness of Ryad's customer service. When we experienced some challenges at the start of the week with the technology in the home (mainly due to our inexperience), we texted Ryad about our concerns and he replied within 5-10 minutes every time to provide further information and guidance that solved our problems. Additionally, when out flight departure and arrival changed, he was most accommodating in allowing us to modify our check-in and check-out times. As much as we love the amenities of the home, we will keep coming back due to Ryad's care that his guests have an exceptional experience. We did. We will be coming back for a third time as soon as we can. Thanks, Ryad!

Amazing spot to relax!

My wife and I booked 5 nights and all I can say is wow! Right from the start, great communication and super responsive. The place is in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything you could want. The house is very well set up and spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. Great TV set up and the bathroom off the master is fantastic. If you want a private back yard pool, can’t beat this! Lots of floaties, BBQ and chairs. I can’t rate this high enough, we loved it and hope to return!

Wonderful getaway

Dar Sabrina is a fantastic place to stay near Palm Springs! A well-designed custom home with its own pool & spa, central location, and quiet neighborhood. We rarely ventured out, since it was so comfortable to just lounge by the pool or inside!

100% great and as advertised

Really great stay with a house full of amenities along with a property manager/owner who truly cared and was super easy to communicate with. The house itself is really nice, the pool and hot tub were great, and all of the furnishings were nice. We also ran into a canceled flight which pushed our departure back by 2 days, and Ryad quickly helped us figure out a way to stay a few nights longer without any hassle. Sometimes when I see a property with all 5 stars, I'm a bit suspect, but it's all warranted! We'd stay again any time.

Family Spring Break

Relaxing home and well organized host

I have rented some homes that were so sparsely furnished that I had to bring my own towels, sheets, and pillows. This house is the opposite of that; it has anything that you might possibly need. The kitchen is full of gadgets, there's plenty of towels, and there are laundry machines and detergent. The showers have soap and shampoo provided, so you don't even have to bring those. If you want, you can pick your own fruit from the orange and lemon trees. There are instructions manuals for the pool, hot tub, tv, thermostat, kitchen gadgets, etc. The owner Ryad really thought of everything, and he responds quickly to text messages if you have any questions.

Perfect Relaxing Get-Away

Quiet, discrete neighborhood. Very private pool/ patio area in the south-facing backyard. Great for sun seekers, which also plenty of shade from well positioned trees and nicely furnished covered patio area. The spacious living areas (kitchen and living rooms) enabled relaxed lounging and welcome space for food and drinks preparations and partaking. Overall a very enjoyable and memorable vacation experience.

Amazing stay at Dar Sabrina!

We had a fantastic week-long stay at Dar Sabrina! The location is perfect - lots of hiking, biking, restaurants, shops, all within a couple of miles. This was our second stay at the house, and it was just as amazing as the first. Even though it was December, we could swim in the pool, lounge in the hot tub, and find comfortable spaces inside & out to read and relax. Because of the cooler temps (last time was the summer), we were able to go for jogs, walks, and bike rides right in the neighborhood (check out all the side streets across Da Vaal!). Hiking above Rancho Mirage city hall (1 mile away) was terrific - great views of the valley with just a little climbing.

Great space for our family

My husband and our two adult children traveled to the area to spend Thanksgiving with my parents as well as other family members. The location in relationship to my parents home was super convenient. The house was spacious and well equipped and very comfortable! We cooked and used the pool and hot tub every day! We would definitely stay here again!

Floated our cares away!

Loved, loved the outdoor area with excellent quality outdoor furniture. It was fun to stay in a house decorated in a theme that is something I wouldn't normally do. Very cool and eclectic. It was 5 months after a knee replacement and I didn't notice that there is not a handrail in the pool. The three of us, late 60's early 70's, moved an outdoor chair close to the pool and used that for an assist on the stairs in the pool. Kitchen is very well equipped. Being from the northwest, we loved the weather in November and lived in the pool and hot tub. Floated every chance we had.
