Hi, I’m Lauren, a former ballet dancer turned mountain lover who believes life is best lived outdoors and full of memorable experiences. After years of staying in vacation rentals as a traveler, I began hosting in 2014 with a simple goal: to create spaces that feel warm, thoughtfully designed, and effortlessly functional... the kind of places I’d want to stay in myself.
I’m based in Colorado with my partner, two dogs, and a cat (yes, it’s a bit of a zoo), and when I’m not hosting or working in marketing, you’ll probably find me out hiking a new trail, obsessively building the perfect playlist, or dreaming up our next travel adventure (seeing gorillas in Virunga National Park is still top of the list).
Sundog Condo reflects everything I love about the mountains: slow mornings with coffee and big views, cozy nights by the fire, and the freedom to ski, hike, bike, or do absolutely nothing at all. I designed it to be a true basecamp... a place to relax deeply after days spent outside.

We fell in love with Granby Ranch for its peaceful mountain energy, stunning scenery, and true four-season adventure. It has all the beauty and outdoor access of Colorado’s most famous resort towns…without the crowds, chaos, or long lift lines.
Just 90 miles from Denver, Granby Ranch feels like a world away. You’re surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest, with ski slopes, hiking and biking trails, golf, and fishing right outside your door. It’s the kind of place where you can go from a morning trail run to an afternoon paddle or powder day, and then unwind by the firepit under a sky full of stars.
In the winter, Granby Ranch offers ski-in/ski-out access, ideal for families and first-timers as well as experienced skiers looking for a laid-back, affordable alternative to bigger resorts. There’s also snowshoeing, Nordic trails, tubing, and après-ski at the Base Lodge with live music and cozy dining.
Come spring and summer, the mountains bloom. Miles of scenic trails, wildflower-covered meadows, lift-served mountain biking, and an 18-hole golf course offer something for every kind of outdoor enthusiast. Fall is pure magic… golden aspens, cool nights, and perfect firepit weather.
