The Good:The best thing about Unit 509 is that the AC works GREAT! As for the resort, the 3 pools are fantastic. The Unit (509):Unfortunately, the condo gives off a very dated, 1980s doublewide vibe. The appliances are original; if you like to cook, this isn't the unit for you. The stove eyes are so lopsided that pans sit at severe angles. One bedroom has very dirty, stained carpet, and the master shower is tiny and stained. There is peeling paint, and the closet doors constantly fall off their tracks. Even the resort maintenance worker mentioned that many items are worn out, but the owners won't approve replacements. The sliding glass door to the patio is also very difficult to open and close.Location & Resort Layout:Just be aware that it’s a long walk to the beach and two of the pools. It doesn't look bad in photos, but it’s not a straight shot—you have to trek through the neighborhood to reach the beach access.Overall, I wouldn't stay at Magnolia House again due to the layout and walk to the beach. If I ever did return, I would definitely make sure to book a fully updated unit.
