Das Pelican Beach Resort ist erstklassig mit seinen Annehmlichkeiten. Die Lage ist direkt gegenüber vom Big Kuhuna Water Park und in der Nähe vieler großartiger Restaurants. Das Pelican Beach Resort verfügt über 2 beheizte Pools, einen ausschließlich im Freien (mit Wasserfall) und einen Innen- / Außenpool, einen Kinderpool, eine Sauna und einen Whirlpool.

Direkt neben der Tiki-Hütte neben dem Pool befindet sich ein extra großes Sonnendeck, auf dem Sie sich bräunen und unterhalten können. Darüber hinaus gibt es ein Fitnessstudio, ein Spielzimmer, einen Verleih von Sonnenschirmen und Stühlen, einen Tennis- und Basketballplatz, einen Sicherheitsdienst am Eingang, einen überdachten Parkplatz und ein saisonales Feinkostgeschäft / Restaurant / Lebensmittelgeschäft vor Ort.

Unsere Eigentumswohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern befindet sich auf der 7. Etage und bietet vom Wohnzimmer, der Küche, dem Esszimmer und dem Hauptschlafzimmer aus Meer- / Strandblick. Sie ist voll ausgestattet mit allem, was Sie für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigen. Diese Wohnung verfügt über den Komfort von zu Hause wie Flachbild-LCD-TVs, DVD-Player und iPod-Dockingstationen in jedem Zimmer. Dies ist eine Luxus-Plus-Einheit am Pelican Beach, die höchstmögliche Bewertung.

Fliesenboden im Wohnbereich mit Allure-Holzboden in den Schlafzimmern. Die Küche verfügt über Arbeitsplatten aus Granit mit Akzentbeleuchtung, sodass Sie Ihre eigene Stimmung kreieren können. Die Küche verfügt über alle Utensilien, die Sie für ein Gourmet-Menü oder einen Snack benötigen. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett mit eigenem Bad. Das 2. Schlafzimmer verfügt über 2 Einzelbetten mit Vollbad. Es gibt zwei Schlafsofas im Wohnbereich. Die Wohnung ist mit einer großen Waschmaschine und Trockner ausgestattet, ideal für längere Aufenthalte in Destin. Die Balkonmöbel im Freien umfassen ein Korbsofa mit Kissen, zwei passende Stühle und einen Couchtisch.

Die Wohnung ist eine Eckeinheit am östlichen Ende des Gebäudes und bietet unseren Gästen die beste Aussicht ... auf den glitzernden Sand und das weite blaugrüne Wasser der Smaragdküste. Planen Sie Ihren Tag im Paradies, während Sie Ihren Morgenkaffee auf Ihrem privaten Balkon mit Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang genießen, der über das kristallklare Wasser schimmert.

Viele der Restaurants in der Nähe sind Sehenswürdigkeiten in Destin. Silver Sands, ein großes Fabrikverkaufszentrum, liegt 11 km östlich. Das brandneue Outdoor-Einkaufszentrum Destin Commons befindet sich an der Ecke der Mid Bay Bridge und des Hwy 98. Es hat einen riesigen Kinokomplex, ein Hard Rock Cafe, einen Bass Pro Fishing Shop, Johnnie Rockets und alle Einkaufszentren, die Sie kennen und lieben gelernt haben, in einer wunderschönen Umgebung im Freien. Fort Walton Beach hat einen neuen Pier, von dem aus man wunderbar angeln kann. Hochseefischen ist gleich die Straße rauf! Destin war ein Fischerdorf, bevor es irgendetwas anderes gab, also kannst du mit einem ziemlichen Fang nach Hause kommen !!

Overall,I truly enjoyed our stay. Lets start with the negatives; The elevators had minds of their own and were slow moving and the doors tried to eat you if you didn’t move fast enough between people getting off and people getting on. I didn’t appreciate that to sit in the beach and see the ocean you had to rent a ridiculously over priced chair. If you brought your own chair you had to sit behind all the rental chairs. For the positives; the pools were always clean, the people were very nice and no guests got out of hand. It was close walking distance to places around with things to do. The sand was soft and the water was very clear.I would book again next time we travel to Destin.

Outstanding location and accommodations!!!

The condo was well appointed and faced southeast allowing for sunrise views with afternoon shade. The property sits directly in the beach providing for easy access, and had great amenities. The on site cafe was convenient for quick and tasty breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Fantastic Vacation!

This was our families first vacation to a beach and everyone said it has been their favorite vacation. Our condo was very nice and clean, our beach view was perfect, and we were steps away from the beautiful white sands in Destin. The front desk staff welcomed us and were very friendly and we had the best time! We would definitely go back.

Great Central location in Destin

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Pelican Beach resort in Destin. The condo was clean and inviting with bright sunshine until noon every day. Central location made it any easy walk to shopping and restaurants. The facility was partially closed during our stay in Feb. with the gym and tiki hut closed and the cafe opened for 3 days/week.

Perfect Getaway

The whole condo is so pretty. They did an excellent job making it feel clean, modern, and cozy. The view from the patio was perfect for playing Uno each evening and getting up to drink coffee in the morning. Beds were comfy, and the TV was great for hanging out after we ate dinner. The staff were all super nice, smooth check in. We reserved chairs on the beach while we were there, and servers from the Tiki bar brought your beverages. Even on row three, the view was great. Overall it was a great time, and we will probably book again next summer!

Amazing Beach Views

This condo is cute, clean, and comfy! Although the weather was cooler than we expected, we enjoyed laying on the couches and looking over the ocean every day. When we did venture to beach, it was a quick elevator ride and a very short walk.

Great family vacation

Beautiful condo and location in Destin. Beautiful beaches and plenty of amenities. Only issue we had was checking in took a long time and it's a struggle to find luggage carts. Not a reflection on the condo owners at all, just the resort itself. We had a great stay! The condo was as pictured and the owners were quick to respond with any questions or issues we had. The beds were comfy, the patio is super cute, the view is fantastic and the condo is right by the elevator, which was awesome! Would stay again.

Modern and beautifully furnished with gorgeous view

Quick communication from the owner! Beautifully updated and fully equipped unit. Our family loved the central location. Elevator right next to the condo but no noise issues - very convenient end unit location. Easy access away from the busy central lobby. Shaded pool was awesome in heat of the afternoon! We loved every minute and will definitely return. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Perfect condo with the most perfect view

We rented the condo for fall break week. My wife and I with our 3 little kids. Condo had everything you could need from dishes, appliances, board games, etc. Resort is nice and seems to be getting a lot of upgrades with pools. Perfect walkout access to the beach. Chair rental crew was amazing. Condo seems to be newly renovated and everything is fresh and new feeling. Design style is perfect for the beach setting.

Excellent!

The condo is decorated perfectly along with having all the items you would need. We had zero complaints about the condo. It was fantastic being right by the garbage and elevator and NO you can not hear either from the unit. The resort is great as well. It will be nice when the new pool is open as the outdoor pools get pretty shaded in the afternoon. The beach service was so nice to be able to get lunch or drinks right on the beach. Loved this property and most of all the unit for our first stay in Destin!

Great place to stay!

Everything was really nice in the condo. It was as it appeared in the pictures. A couple of needed changes would be new shower heads and replace the twin beds with a queen bed or take down closet that was built and rearrange the room. We ran into the bed going in and out of the bathroomconstantly. As far as The Pelican Beach, we had an issue with checking in. We were there at 4, but many of us there waited until 6 or after to get into our condo. Been staying there for years and never had to wait that long which ended up being 640 pm. We were given a few drink tickets and a gift card for the restaurant to take care of us for the lateness. It was chaotic at the checkin desk for 2 hours and 40 minutes. Nobody knew when rooms might be ready. The pools were ice cold and need to be heated this time of year.

Could be better

Spring Break 2024. Let me start by saying I understand that maintenance isn’t something the owners can control. That said, if I were the owner I would have made sure that the guests were aware or offered a discounted rate. The condo’s location is good, right in the middle of Destin. The facility on the other hand was a mess. They were redoing the roof and painting the building. This unit being at the very end, right next to where the new roof was being put on. Half of your view is the beach and the other half is the roof. They really should not have this unit available during roof construction. We couldn’t sleep in because of the noise and no naps either. The elevator closest to the room was broken so we had to use the main elevators, which 1 of the main 4 elevators was broken as well. All elevators were very dirty. The condo was nice and clean, but the TV’s didn’t work, so we had to log on to our personal Netflix accounts. We also told them about a broken iron and never got a new one so we wore wrinkly clothes the entire time. Needless to say I don’t think we’ll ever come back to The Pelican.

First Family Beach Trip as a Family of 4

This condo was great and fit my family of 4 (38, 36, 4, & 1) perfectly! What I loved: the multiple pools, the Cafe, Tiki Bar, the location, & the fact the condo was supplied with EVERYTHING you could think you might want/need. What I think the Condo/Property could do better (most are property and Condo owners can't do much about): Elevator right by the condo didn't work. Made bringing things up to the room a bit more cumbersome. The Cafe hours could have been longer into the evening (especially when weather stinks or families have small children & dont want to adventure out.. or cook). Not allowing tents on the beach .. as a family with small children, shade is very important and the beach chairs available or the allowing of umbrellas to be set up .. isn't going to shade much. The front bedroom while I LOVED the twin beds for my girls, I didn't love that it blocked half the entrance into that bedroom's bathroom. Not sure how you fix it, but ankles were bruised getting into the bathroom. Haha Whatever you do, don't get rid of the twin beds - they were amazing for small kids. Again, overall, we will be back and these minor things will not keep us from staying in 718 again. Until next time! :)

Great condo but resort staff unfriendly

The condo was beautiful and have absolutely no complaints. The washer/dryer was normal size which was different than our other friend’s condos in the Pelican, so that was nice. My only complaint is the resort itself. The staff are not friendly. The pools don’t open until 9am despite the brochure saying 8am and the big pool closed at 7p. The pool maintenance people stated “put the acid in, they’ll learn” when people were in the pool before 9am. We were here on a baseball tournament so “fun time” is minimal and most resorts open pools from 8a-10/11p. The beach service doesn’t allow for chairs in front row so on days when the tides are further back, they essentially take up the full area. Our group rented 6 umbrellas that day because you wouldn’t have been able to sit on the beach otherwise and they were so tightly packed that our kids did not have room to play around (Six 12 yr old boys here on a baseball tournament). I would only recommend if you don’t plan to be at the beach that often or are ok with beach chair setup that is on top of each other. However, Condo was beautiful and we had everything we needed.
