Experience this adorable, serene, and cozy two-bedroom, one-bath, smoke- and pet-free cottage in the quiet and peaceful town of Lake Waccamaw. You'll delight in it!

The main bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed, and the second bedroom, which is larger, sleeps six people.

Enjoy beautiful views from the front porch while relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, knowing you have access to the lake's publicly shared boat docks and all of the lake's many amenities.
★ Only 11 minutes (2–3 m) to the B & GH Equestrian Center, Ambassador and Anchorage Christian camps.

This is our 5th stay at this cottage. Ms. Hollingsworth is the sweetest. Everything is always clean, she checks in before/after we leave, it's quiet, close to everything we need, and big enough for our family of four. We love that we can have a cup of coffee on the porch, and have our morning/afternoon walk. Until next year!

Absolutely adorable

If you are looking for a relaxing comfortable place to stay- this is the place for you! This cottage was perfect! It was so cute, very clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with necessities & the hostess was friendly and readily available if needed. We will definitely be back to visit and you should too!

Wonderful place. Wonderful caring property owners. Inside is beautiful and so is all the furnishings and rooms! Only three of us but there’s six beds! We had a wonderful time staying here, highly recommend this place!

Annual Trip

Been staying with Mrs Charlotte for the last several years. Her home is clean, has plenty of space for a family of 4, has all neccessitues plus some, and most importantly is safe. The neighborhood is very quiet and the perfect place for an afternoon walk. We also enjoyed the prayer garden up the road. Charlotte made checkin/checkout easy, and checked in with me a few times. She is the best!

Beautiful location, nice cottage, friendly host. Great DVDs to watch movies, family friendly. Coffee and creamer provided, so thoughtful. Lay-out a bit strange. Not aware that 2nd full bed was a bunk situation so 1 adult had a twin bed unfortunately. Also bathroom had full length wall mirrors in front of toilet and the tiniest shower. Overall nice place.

Perfect place for a quiet getaway

Charlotte's Cottage is such a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Lots of beds for larger crowds. She is very responsive and willing to do anything she can to make your stay a wonderful experience. (She even offered to wash my clothes before I left). Check-in was easy and Charlotte made a very quick phone call to make sure everything was ok and not hesitate to call her if I needed anything. The cottage location is great and is very close to a few Restaurants. Would gladly stay here again in the future.

Perfect setting

Comfortable. Like your favorite place to land when you just need to unwind and take a deep breath. Owner communication couldn't be better. Front porch was perfect for a good cup of coffee to watch the sunrise. Beds were comfy. Shower took a little getting used to, but can't wait to rent again. Canal was perfect for watching nature go to bed and wake up for the kids. Thanks again!

House smelled motely as though it needed to air out, property does not have access to a pier or dock

Old house renovated with old furniture. No curtains or blinds to a number of glass doors for privacy and no access to a pier or dock for fishing as indicated. Host was nice, but it's just a house on the opposite side of the lake, not even a view of the lake from this property.

We were sorry to learn you had issues and concerns, but you never contacted us from when you arrived at the cottage until your departure the following day. Everything could have been addressed and explained if contacted. We suggested during check-in that you telephone us, day or night, with any questions or concerns. You had our phone number.
