l'Eysée is a large, contemporary studio apartment with plenty of sun, sky and beautiful views. It is a short walk to the famous Champs-Elysées and Avenue Montaigne – the most fashionable avenues in Paris.
While the apartment is modern, the building is quintessentially French in terms of its’ style of architecture, and dates back to the early 1900s. With a grand, marble, spiral staircase and large French doors on every floor, you quickly realize that you are in Paris!
The apartment was recently completely redecorated with great care, focusing on every detail of the décor from the softness of the pillows, to the comfort of the couch, to the richness of the bath towels – all with the intent of ensuring that your stay in Paris is enjoyable and memorable.
Additionally, L'Eysée was designed to be luxurious and theatrical. With rich, ruby-red, velvet curtains and a large queen-sized bed on a raised platform, you have the feeling that you are on a stage. The large closet with both ample hanging and shelf space will allow you to unpack and feel right at home. The bedroom area can be completely separated from the rest of the apartment by drawing a curtain, which stays cleverly hidden away when not in use. Sleeping space for an additional 2 people is available on the new, comfortable sofa bed.
The open kitchen is completely equipped with everything you need to make your at-home meals easy and pleasant, including a large refrigerator/freezer, combination oven/microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer combination, espresso machine, toaster and more.

L'Eysée was also designed to be guest-friendly for both the business traveler and the vacationer. The apartment is fully equipped and offers amenities not offered by most hotels such as free Internet, free long-distance calling to over 97 countries and much more.
We invite you to relax on the sofa in front of the large flat-screen TV to watch anything from CNN to French movies after a long day in Paris, or work diligently at the desk situated near the window, while the sun pours in.

We had a wonderful time in Paris. The location was perfect for us to visit all the sights. Metro right there and a grocery store right beside the building. A friendly greeting when we arrived and all the info available. The building had an unfortunate boiler problem causing a shortage of hot water but our hosts were so gracious that it wasn’t a factor for us at all. Thank you from the MacDonald family.

Great location but less than great communication with host

The property is well located and generally as described in listing, There are only 2 very skimpy towels provided and the kitchen area was infested with ants. Our major complaint was that we were instructed to text our host immediately upon arrival at the Paris airport and agin when we cleared customs to confirm the time that someone would meet us at the apartment to let us in. Although we called and texted repeatedly over the 2 hour period required to arrive at the apartment, the hosts never responded to us. Although there was a very nice woman named Jean who was there to let us into the apartment when we arrived, were quite stressed from the time we landed until we reached the apartment wondering if/how we'd be able to get in. Hosts need to communicate more promptly with guests, particularly when the guests follow their instructions about the check in procedure and still receive no response.

Thank you for your review, we go to great length to provide a great experience for all our guests, from providing quality/Clean bedding and Towels. The numerous 5 stars reviews past and present are a testimony to the cleanliness of our property. That being said thank you for letting us that you noticed ants in the kitchen area although the traveler before and after you did not notice any ants but we will still spay the kitchen area just as a precaution. The check in instructions were given to this traveler a week prior to arrival, two phone numbers were given to the guest, one is the owner's cell phone number and the other the apartment landline number where the property manager was waiting for the guest. These instructions are given to every single one of our guests so in case their international phone could not reach our cell phone (which happens from time to time) they will have the landline number to reach the property manager. Although the guest did not follow instructions she was still able to check in without any problem and on time. Sorry if your experience id not go as well as our other guests. We will continue to work hard to provide the best rental experience to all our guests.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!

This is the perfect place to rent if you plan on being in Paris for a few days and intend on eating most if not all meals out. The Location is ideal and near the theatre, bakeries, restaurants, grocery stores the metro and so much more. This apt is a few blocks off Champs Elysee making it so convenient. We were to stay for 5 weeks but due to a severe medical condition we had to cancel the first three weeks of our stay. The 5 weeks were totally paid for and we were told by the owner VRBO does not allow for refunds. The owner also mentioned they would be losing money by refunding any part of the 3 weeks we would not be there. We stayed the last 2 of the 5 weeks are were greeted by a very friendly manager. Upon entering the apt it was very cold and very damp; once we turned the heat on it took a while to warm the apt. We had traveled from the US so were tired and were not offered an inviting apt as described. We had asked many questions about how well stocked the kitchen was and reassured we would have all that was needed to prepare meals. There was one lid for the limited number of pots and pans; there was not sufficient serving dishes as we ended using pans we cooked in. A burner on the stove did not work as did neither the dishwasher. The later was fixed the night before departure date. For this period of time we were there we would have expected full linens and more then two bathroom towels. one hand towel and two kitchen towels. It was quite odd as we had to ask for more towels. We washed the sheets although the operational directions were in French for this combo washer/dryer which proved to be quite a challenge We have been in many VRBO rentals in the past and there was always sufficient t another set. The combination microwave/oven was located on top of the refrigerator making in inaccessible so we rearranged the desk and chairs to accomodate the micro/over. The oven must have been used quite often and definitely not cleaned as was the top of the refrigerator. The apt needs a deep cleaning as it was quite dusty with dust bunnies on the floor and flying in the air. We were offered a complimentary bottle of wine on our next stay which should have been offered on this stay as a welcome and perhaps a dinner certificate to soften the undreds of dollars lost due to a medical emergency. This cute little apt would be fun if it was clean and your stay was for a few days only.

Thank you for your review. We go to great lengths to make sure that each and everyone one of our guests have a good experience in our apartment and the 60 total reviews attest to that. We do understand where the dissatisfaction of this particular guest come from: They rented the apartment 4 months before arrival but they informed us the ni9ght before arrival that they will not be able to coming for the first three weeks because of a medical emergency, Although our cancellation policy states that there will not be any refund if cancellation is done less than a week prior to check in, we still tried to find a solution by asking Homeaway to free our calendar for those three weeks so we could find another renter but unfortunately Homeaway informed us that it was too late for them to clear the reservation for those three weeks and that we had to still honor the full reservation or cancel the entire reservation. This is the reason why we could not give you back any refund beyond the fact that they cancelled after the cancellation deadline. We have accommodated guests in similar situations in the past but but unfortunately we are not a hotel and there's so much we can do to accommodate every situation. We try to do our best to make the experience of every gust memorable and we will continue to strive for that.

A beautiful and well-appointed Parisian apartment which provides a perfect location from which to explore the city, I can't say enough about the location. This apartment really exceeded our expectations. First everyone was so helpful and went out of their way to make sure every detail was taken care of. This apartment is well maintained, decorated and offers all the comforts of home. The place was very nice and close to everything. We loved our stay. Thank you again.

We love 💕 Paris

We really enjoyed this apartment. It was perfect for our family of 3. So convenient to catch the metro to all of our favorite attractions. We loved the patisserie/bakery around the corner. Baguettes, pistachio macarons and eclairs were delicious. Starbucks, restaurants, and grocery all within walking distance. Very safe and lovely neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to Paris.

Very centrally located, quiet and comfortable

The apartment is central to all major tourist destinations and a very short walk to the Champs Elysee. The interior of the apartment is very quiet and it has everything you would need to live there long term. On the ground floor of the building is a grocery store with everything you could want. Several quality restaurants located on the same street as the apartment. There are two subway stations within a couple of blocks. Owner was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions before departure.

Cute studio in a great location!

Dora and Thierry were amazing to work with. Very accommodating. This was our first trip to Paris, and we found our location very easy to get to all of the major attractions either by walking or metro. Studio was super clean, secure, and easily fit our family of four.

Great Location!

This apartment is in a great location - walking distance to Seine, Champs Elysees, great restaurants, metro. The apartment was clean and perfect size for two people. Small kitchen with a grocery store located next to apartment. We did not use the kitchen but certainly if you stay longer this would work great. Small dining table adjacent to kitchen. Great big windows that open out to the courtyard. If we plan another trip to Paris, I will definitely look into reserving this Apartment. The owners (Dora and Thierry) were great and got ahold of me to provide additional details of the apartment and continued to be available during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hemos disfrutado la familia de una estancia en Paris de 4 días. Del 3 al 7 de Octubre. Con la suerte de que el tiempo ha sido muy bueno, luciendo el sol todos los días. El apartamento tiene un tamaño adecuado para 3 personas, esta bien equipado y esta muy bien situado, a 3 min caminando de los Campos Eliseos, donde precisamente, en la misma esquina cogíamos el bus turístico para visitar todos los monumentos y zonas de Paris. En los bajos de la misma finca hay un Carrefour City donde comprabamos algo de fruta, yogurs, leche, galletas, etc para tener en la nevera algo a mano, aunque desayunábamos y comíamos siempre fuera de casa. Muy cerca, en un radio de 500 m hay varios restaurantes, tiendas, cafeterias, etc. En resumen, hemos pasado unos días inolvidables en Paris, y a ello a contribuido también, indudablemente la elección de este apartamento situado en una finca muy tranquila y segura de una calle también tranquila pero al mismo tiempo muy cercana a la bulliciosa Avda. Champs Elysees.

Nice studio

The studio is located in a very nice, secure building. It was the fourth VRBO I stayed at on this trip. The other ones I stayed at catered to the vacationer by leaving a token bottle of wine, water or single use espresso machine as well as extensive local information on nearby restaurants and markets. I think it would be helpful for the owner to consider these steps to improve the experience. Studio is on the fifth floor but this is no problem with a modern roomy elevator. I was surprised to find that I could hear/feel the underground train when I went to bed, but it did not disturb my sleeping. There is a metro stop close by. You will need it unless you enjoy long walks to the more historic areas of Paris.

Incredible Location, Great Service

Communication was excellent. Thierry, who speaks impeccable English, reached out to us and ensured everything was coordinating for arrival. The studio apartment is worked well for our family of 4 (2 kids 7 & 9 / 2 adults). It is well situation right off a metro and within walking distance (1km) of many sites. Compared to everything else we saw the price was quite reasonable. One thing we did not see when booking and should be more clear is the extra charge per person beyond 2. This is normal in Europe but should be more clear for this particular listing.

Best decision I made was to stay here!

Went to Paris last Winter for a business (and a little leisure) trip. I never regretted my decision to book this apartment upon setting my eyes on it. It has got enough room for me to move around, it's clean, modern and charming. I did my cooking in the well-equipped kitchen which is one of the highlights of my stay. Being a big fan of architecture, I loved the building the apartment is in, especially its grand staircase. It surely fanned the romantic in me. Great location, as it is situated just a few blocks away from Champs Elysees. I had a really nice stay in this apartment, and I would definitely stay here again when I get back!

Splendid stay!

One of the reasons or probably the main reason for my splendid vacation in Paris is staying in this apartment. I decided to book this flat after seeing the pictures online and the raving reviews from previous guests. I thought it would be nice, not wanting to expect too much but the apartment certainly exceeded my expectations! Just as charming, just as comfortable, just as lovely as they've said! I especially loved the artful touches in the furnishings, the cds and books! The neighborhood was just as charming, with the bakeries and restaurants and all those quaint Parisian stores. Getting to other parts of Paris was easy for us as well with the bus and metro stations just a block away. One of the highlights of our Parisian sojourn was definitely our stay in this apartment.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY IN PARIS

I was here with my 10-year-old son (a special mommy-son trip to Europe), and am very happy to highly recommend this apartment for visiting Paris. The location served as an excellent starting point for our daily tourist excursions; it is a few blocks from the Champs Élysées and Arc de Triomphe, and very near to taxis, the metro, groceries, restaurants, banks – anything and everything we needed. We had great communication throughout our trip with the owner Thierry and the property manager Benjamin. The apartment itself is beautiful, clean, quiet, secure, and well equipped. We spent most of our time out and about – climbed the Tour Eiffel, Arc de Triomphe, and Notre Dame; did a “treasure hunt” at the Louvre; voyaged the Seine via Bateau Mouche; rode bicycles around Versailles (our favorite); visited the Musee d’Orsay; etc - but while we were in the loft, we made use of the kitchen for breakfast every morning, did our laundry a couple of times (great for traveling light), ignored the TV, made a few phone calls to check in with family, and rested and slept comfortably. This was my first time using a rental home while traveling, and it was the perfect introduction, a great way to “make yourself at home,” save money and spend it instead on seeing the attractions of the city. I can’t imagine a better place to stay while in Paris. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you, Thierry!

Conveniently Located

The apartment was extremely well located near Metros 9 & 13, as well as local eateries and the Champs Elysee. A little more care-worn that the photos indicated, but these are my reasons for giving it 4 stars instead of 5: 1) The owner promised a list of local places to eat and (grocery) shop months prior to the trip but never provided it and and didn't respond to my final three e-mails (requesting same) sent in the three weeks leading up to the trip. 2) Only one roll of toilet paper provided for two people to use over a 5 day time period. 3) No hand towels, wash cloths or even soap in the bathroom. 4) Those "American stations" are CNN, MTV and BBC (short documentaries) channels, that's it. Overall, the apartment was quiet, comfortable and perfectly situated. We found it very easy to use as a jumping off point for our daily explorations and it definitely provided more room and creature comforts (kitchen area) than a hotel would have. Definitely a good value for the money, but make sure and bring a bar of soap with you.

First of all thank you for renting from us, we appreciate your business. Our number one gaol has always been our client's satisfaction. Although they are a lot of restaurants and grocery stores around the neighborhood we do also suggest other places off the the beaten path for our Guests and we also have a printed list of those places inside the apartment that our property manager always shares with all our renters. I as the owner travels quiet a bit that's why we have a property manager in place to answer all your questions from the moment your reservation is confirmed. With regards to #2 and #3, our property manager who does the check in and maintenance of our property remains on call during your entire stay and don't hesitate to call if you find that there's something missing in the apartment, he will make sure to bring it to you at once. From the moment you check in our property manager gives each renter his phone number, and there's a landline telephone in the apartment that our guests can use at no charge to contact him for any needs that they might have during their stay. With regards to #4, we have over 115 channels a combination of national TV stations from around the world. You can see the list of all the channels by pressing the guide button on the remote control. Again another for us to respond to your needs during your stay do not hesitate to contact our property manager if you notice that something is missing in the apartment when you first check in or anytime during your stay. Our guests are the reason why our property has been successful and we go to great length to make sure you enjoy your stay with us.
