Dieser Ort ist so einzigartig --- wo sonst hat man einen echten Strand Insel wie diese finden? Immer, wenn wir gehen, um das Haus, kommen wir ganz aufgeladene und glücklich.

Wie eine Reise in die Vergangenheit! Dauphin Island ist immer noch von Hochhäusern, Eigentumswohnungen und großen Entwicklungen weitgehend unberührt.

Unser Haus ist ideal für Chillen auf dem Wasser, am Strand entlang spazieren, Blick auf die Sterne auf der Terrasse! Wir sind auf der Nordseite der Sandstrand, ideal für kleine Kinder und Hunde, aber Schritte von der Golf-Seite mit der Brandung. Der Golf Strand ist etwa 100 Meter auf der anderen Seite der Insel (die Insel ist ziemlich eng dort) und es gibt keine Häuser am Golf am Strand, wo wir sind, so dass es ist wie mit das Beste aus beiden Welten --- Ihr Haus am Wasser Blick auf die Bucht und private Strand am Golf!

Alles inklusive --- komplette Küche, Bettwäsche, TV, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Kabel-TV und Internetzugang. Haustiere sind willkommen !!

Great quiet area with private beach. Sweet bungalow with every thing a person could want/need. A quick walk takes you to the big beach for some boogie boarding. Loved our stay. Deborah the manager was great. Asked her before we left if the cottage had a blender. We get there & she had a Brand new blender waiting for us.

Property manager very responsive. House was as described with bay beach at back yard. Enjoyed looking for shells during low tide. Recommend bug spray for evening walk protection and don't forget scrubby pads for cleaning dishes after cooking. Visit welcome center with museum and library the hostess there were very pleasant and accommodating. The aquarium research center priced reasonably and educational. Highly recommend the animal wildlife boat excursion, reasonable priced three hour tour with restroom onboard, and seeing variation of sea creatures brought in with net highly educational and interesting for young and old.

Nice home and location

Nice location and easy to get to, great communications with property manager and owners, will definitely come back. Unfortunately, had to cut stay short due to hurricane but otherwise the location and property were perfect.

Nice quiet retreat.

Really enjoyed our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. Beautiful setting, great peaceful cottage, fabulous walks, sunrises and sunsets; plus great food, football, and drink. Would definitely return.

Mediocre at best

Overall this property was just ok. The communication with the property manager was outstanding overall; she was very responsive and kind. The check-in process was also smooth. Before you arrive at the property you do have to sign an agreement and it’s not set up to sign electronically which was a drawback. The kitchen items are worn and outdated. And many times we didn’t have what we needed to cook. It was difficult to find things as well. Another drawback was the grill. It was dirty and old. There was no brush to clean grill and you have to provide your own charcoal. Many of the things in this home you have to provide yourself so be prepared for that. If you want to cook a nice meal this is not the house for you. The sink in the kitchen backed up when the dishwasher was run and the garbage disposal was broken. The tub also backed up when showering. The washer and dryer were nice however the towels were grey and dingy. The beds were comfortable and the couch and loveseat were also comfortable. The TV in the main area didn’t work the entire time we were there. However, the manager did try to troubleshoot but that was not helpful. The short walk over to the ocean side was convenient and nice. If you are looking for an updated home that is cozy and comfortably set up with a nice kitchen this is NOT the rental for you. However, if you are ok with more of a “Motel 8” kind of experience then you will be just fine with this rental. Again, not horrible, but nothing special at all.

Amazing beach house

This is a beautiful beachfront property with lots of extra amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of sand toys, boogie boards, chairs and much more. The property manager is an amazing lady that was extremely helpful was in contact with us shortly after booking all the way up until after we left to answer any questions we had. They also own the house next door, we look forward to booking both next yr for our family and extended family vacation.

Great get Away

Peaceful place to get away. Loved sitting on the back porch swing overlooking the bay watching birds and dolphins. Later, walking out the front door over to the Gulf and finding seashells. The house was very nice and clean. We would stay here again.

Great Dauphin Island Home

The house was clean and exactly as advertiaed. On the bay (which my kid and dogs loved) and a very short walk to the beach on the Gulf (which was not crowded ever). Deb the manager was great to work with. I highly recommend!

Absolute Gem !

We truly enjoyed our time at Sea Dream. It was a much needed island oasis for us and our pups. What made is so special was the immersion into the beautiful bay, most amazing sunsets, easy stroll to the gulf and great neighbors. Having such a large backyard and water access was a super asset! The decks were comfortable and the home is excellent for rest and relaxation!

Relaxing Spring Break

We had a great time during our stay! The pictures on vrbo do not do it the home justice. There is a new larger tv in the main living area and two bedrooms have King beds with new super comfortable mattresses. The walk to the gulf side was super easy. This is was a great place for the family to unwind!

Awesome vacation home

We loved this house. Spacious and clean, kitchen well stocked for cooking. Maybe add a brownie pan…but my girls made due with what was there! The bay views from the back deck were amazing. The gulf side was not crowded and the water was so calm. Nearby restaurants, aquarium and shopping. We love quaint little beach towns and this did not disappoint!

This was our first time coming to Dauphin Island and we were not disappointed. If your looking for a peaceful time and and super friendly people, this is the place to come. Our house was very clean and well furnished. Plus they are very dog friendly. The whole island is. There wasn’t one outdoor place we couldn’t take her. We definitely recommend staying here!

Sea Dream house

The house was beautiful and very nice the view was wonderful on the bay and you can see the ocean .the manger was very nice and answered any question i had very quick. The king beds we nice to sleep on .over all we had a blast on the island only bad thing is almost everything closes at 9 pm .

Peaceful beach getaway

First trip to Dauphin Island and the laid back atmosphere was excellent. Very few people on any of the beaches at any time. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises and my daughter was so excited to catch a stingray fishing in the back yard! The posted pictures don't do the house justice in my opinion it's nicer in person and very clean.

Nice little beach spot

We chose Sea Dream because we wanted to bring our dogs to the beach. The house and Dauphin Island in general were super dog friendly, which we loved. The property manager was helpful and knowledgeable when we asked for recommendations. A few things keeping the place from being 5 stars: the bath towels and sheets were dingy and gray, the grill was super dirty and rusty, and the couches were very uncomfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but would choose someplace with nicer amenities if we weren’t traveling with dogs.

Dog Friendly Bay Side Home

Three bedrooms was perfect for 2 adults, 3 kiddos, and a dog. Bay was always calm for swimming and never crowded. The gulf wasn't too far of a walk. Bring bug spray or pants and loose long sleeves for the walk out to the water due to mosquitoes, though the skeeters are worse some days over others. House was in good shape, loved the couch covers so pup could sit with us without worry. Back deck was perfect to watch the bay and eat outside. Hoses under the house and on the deck helped reduce the sand we brought in! Overall, would stay again unless we try to stay on the Gulf side next time.

Relaxing!!

All the reviews have been accurate. A quiet place to relax. Take the dogs. Enjoy the beach. The one thing that has not been mentioned is the bike trail. Spans the entire island. Great way to get around—go to lunch, the store, the fort. Bring your bikes.

Location was great. Dauphin Island is amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

The location of this property was great. The house is on the bay side but the owners also have a lot across the street on the Gulf side. We were able to enjoy the best of both sides. The only drawback was that the house was filthy. My wife spent the first three hours cleaning. We were early for check in so that might of had something to do with it.

Family beach vacation

We loved the low key r&r vibe of Dauphin Island. This house was great for our family of 7. Our 4 and 7 year old absolutely loved playing in the bay acess right out the back door. We were able to see dolphins, fish, crabs, frogs and other wildlife right from the deck. One note to travelers that we had to learn and adjust to is that most restaurants close earlier and have a difficult time having tables for larger parties later of an evening. Overall beautiful house, helpful and communive management, easy check in and out, and a beautiful place to vacation. We would definitely recommend staying and hope to be back!

We love this place and we love taking our pooches to the beach. They always enjoy it!!! We are so busy that much of the time we find it hard to get away. We love the quiet cul de sac location, being steps from the water and being away from traffic. We want other people to enjoy what we have enjoyed for years. Thus the reason for renting our beach house.

Dog Friendly!!! There aren't that many dog friendly beaches on the Gulf Coast. So please bring your pooches and/or kitties and enjoy. Private bayside beach where you can go fishing without a permit, and a quick walk over private easement to Gulf Shore.
