Beautifully renovated 2000 sq ft home in the very sought out neighborhood of Punta Gorda Isles. Vaulted ceilings in living area with open concept. Two bedroom suites with smart TVs and one office suite. Each with their own bathroom and privacy doors. Stunning galley kitchen, fully equipped to make your own meals. Water filtration system installed for clear , healthy drinking water and for cooking. Sliding doors open to your relaxing screened in lanai with pool.( if heated an additional $275 will apply for stays up to 2 weeks,) Monthly rentals have a flat fee of $350 for electricity and $250 for water. There’s a grill to barbecue ( must be cleaned after each use) and enjoy the outdoors. Step out to a 45x10 dock to enjoy your mornings (sunrise on left ) and evenings (sunset on right). May bring boat to tie up to dock ( no charge, but must get approval from owner before) Fish from your dock , enjoy an adult beverage, or simply relax. Minutes from Downtown , Fisherman’s Village , Gilchrist and Ponce De Leon Park. Sunseeker, Warm Mineral Springs , beautiful beaches in Englewood and Boca Grande, Stump Pass, Venice is 45-60 minutes away. Chairs and coolers are provided as well as pool/ beach towels. Your stay in Punta Gorda will be memorable.

Beautiful home and pool

This home is beautiful finished and was a wonderful place to end our days - with the heated pool and inviting enclosed porch off a beautiful inlet. Would definitely recommend!

The place to Stay!

We had a group of 5 stay in the house for 6 nights. Every need we had- from docking a boat to cooking and hanging out together- was met. The place exceeded our expectations with cleanliness and having what we needed. Unlike some rentals, this was a well-stocked home including coolers, floats, and plenty of towels. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The only thing we lacked for was a giant stockpot for our shrimp boil. We just used a couple medium pots. The home was clean and even smelled clean. Carmen was quick to respond and even sent us local happenings while we were there. For future renters, it might be helpful for me to mention that we had several beds or couches that converted to beds, but only 2 bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

The Ortega’s will show you how it’s done

From start to finish, our stay here was virtually flawless. The interior of the home has been recently redone, and has been finished with attractive touches everywhere. The hosts are well-acquainted with high-end details, or at least have been well advised. Labels are placed discretely, but in the right spots to direct guests on functions of light switches, locations of necessary items, and so forth. Comfortable seating areas are found everywhere. There are a few additional requests of the host to be found in each bathroom closet. We found plenty of linens and accessories, and all throughout, the home was more than adequately stocked for a comfortable stay. In the master suite, we had a nice view of the pool area into the lanai, and the master shower should not be overlooked. Laying in bed in the morning, with a cup of coffee, a pleasant scene in front, and the news on the tv gave us the best possible start. The beds in the second bedroom were not uncomfortable, but not quite to our taste, and the third bedroom is really an office area. The couch slept well for the third guest, so this wasn’t an issue, but there are two true bedrooms. The pool/lanai area was a huge hit. Sparkling clean (as the entire property was), and filled with plenty of comfortable seating, with a nicely landscaped view out the back to the canal. Ms. Ortega made herself available on short notice for us, and was quite willing to help with our clumsy attempt to find accommodations. Her hospitality and the extremely satisfying stay in every way will bring us back.

Excellent Find !!

This place was a great find for us! Location was perfect as it is walking distance to Fisherman's Village shops and restaurants, and a very short car ride to downtown area. The entire house is very well decorated and extremely comfortable. Our favorite place to spend time was the large seating area near the pool. Carmen was a fantastic host before, during and after our stay promptly answering any questions. We absolutely recommend this gem if you're staying in the Punta Gorda area.

We stumbled into Punta Gorda on one of our Rv trips and fell in love with the place; it’s quaint yet it has a vibrant nightlife

We love this property’s proximity to the downtown area, beaches, walking and biking trails. There’s a Farmer’s Market every Saturday and Sunday and many art festivals throughout the year. There are also quite a few estate and garage sales on the weekends and many consignments stores filled with treasures. We enjoy sitting at our backyard / dock that sits on a canal that leads to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.
