The Purple Pelican is a well-stocked, bright and homey bay house located in the gated community of Bay Creek's Marina Villages. This eastern shore home is only steps away from a private beach where you can relax or go for a dip in the calm waters, perfect for young children--just walk out the back door, through the fenced-in backyard to the convenient beach access across the street. It's such a short distance, you can run back to the house for snacks or bathroom breaks in no time at all. Enjoy the view (especially the sunsets!) of the Chesapeake Bay from one of three decks, while lounging in high-backed chairs, without even leaving the property. The Oyster Farm Seafood Eatery, close to the world-class marina, is only a short walk, bike or golf cart ride where you can enjoy a cocktail or one of the best meals in town. This restaurant has recently been through a rebrand and is a favorite among the community. After dinner, stroll along the dock to check out the boats or saunter down to C-Pier where you can have drinks, catch live music and hang with the locals.

Guests staying at the Purple Pelican have access to Bay Creek amenities, just minutes away by car, bike or golf cart, which includes: a gym, red light sauna, showers, two pools (one with a slide), a volleyball net, corn hole, access to games, books and ping pong, as well as an additional larger private beach. There's a nature preserve with walking/biking/jogging trails, The Coach House Tavern Restaurant is available exclusively to Bay Creek members where you'll have a nice view of the golf course. Bay Creek has planned activities for families and children (trivia night, arts & crafts, etc.). There's also an additional pool and pickleball courts to take advantage of.

This vacation home offers a a 1st floor master suite with a king bed and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and a large jacuzzi tub. The 2nd floor rooms include two queen bedrooms, each with a balcony, a bunk room that sleeps 4 and a jack-and-jill bathroom. There is also a 3rd floor loft with a wet bar, fridge and TV. For family dining, there's an eat-in kitchen dinette that seats 4 as well as a dining room table that accommodates 7; 3 more can be seated at the three kitchen counter bar stools.

This is the ideal spot for a family vacation. Downtown Cape Charles is golf cart-friendly and only three blocks south of Marina Villages.
