The clients were lucky in that during the previous months to check in the house was upgraded superbly. So that is why I did not say excellent for listing description - it was way better.Loved the new manager Keely. She was terrific with me and my clients. This property is a gem as is Santa Fe

Company Retreat in Santa Fe

We booked this home for our small company retreat. It was a sprawling home with plenty of space for everyone. It snowed during our visit so we especially loved the huge fireplace and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice big house with a well stocked kitchen. We rented for 3 families with a total of 11 people. We had enough room and privacy for everyone. And the kitchen helped us cook and serve multiple meals. We also made great use of the hot tub, firepit and pool table. Overall and amazing stay in beautiful Santa Fe.

Beautiful home with plenty of space for people to sleep. It's in a secluded neighborhood and great for hosting relaxed get togethers. It's still relatively close to town which makes driving in easy. The host is very responsive over text and fixed a small issue we had within a few hours.

Ladies Retreat

There were 7 ladies in our group, and there was plenty of room to spread out; in fact, several mentioned how much they enjoyed the fact that we could all go off and have some personal down time. Location was awesome; close to town but yet in the country. Would definitely stay again.

Family trip to Sante Fe

House is beautiful. Grounds are well manicured. Bedrooms are large and beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and all of the appliances are new. Perfect place to stay while visiting Sante Fe. We will return next year!

Great place for a 70th birthday party

Our group of 12 had a wonderful time at Casa Encantado. The house and grounds were a perfect setting for a large group of friends. The host was available to help with entry with a tricky lock and the caretaker was available to meet all our requests. I highly recommend this property for any large group.

Spacious Home

We enjoyed the layout of the house which had room for our family of 12. The dining room and living area were a great place for us to gather around the fireplace to visit and play games. We were here for a ski holiday and enjoyed the closeness to the slopes and the town with the feeling of being out of town.

Cousin Reunion

9 female cousins enjoyed our reunion at this beautiful home and outdoor space in Santa Fe. There was plenty of room to spread out, share, enjoy. We did lots of sightseeing but had most of our meals in the home since it was so comfy, well appointed and made socializing very easy. All 9 of us agreed it was a perfect setting for getting together.

70th Birthday Gathering

We came from east & west coasts & Colorado. Four family units, each had their own awesome space. Special features include awell stocked kitchen, a pool table, a hot tub. Location was superb to get to many Santa Fe activities including Ten Thousand Waves Spa, Geogia OKeefe museum, Meowolf, Farmers Market Rail Trail playground, hiking with children & dogs.

Reunion stay

Wonderful outdoor spaces with hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Kitchen very well equipped. The house has many separate rooms which allows for lots of privacy. Good grill and stove. Host was extremely responsive and helpful when the sink developed a leak and he had it fixed within an hour

50th Anniversary

What an awesome house! We booked this for my parent’s anniversary and it was perfect. They were able to stay in the private apartment while the rest of the family stayed in the big house. The media room was a hit with the kids as they were able to watch first run movies on the big screen TV. We had breakfast on the back patio as a family and were able to observe deer and even had an encounter with a bear. Great place to vacation!

Even better than expected

We loved this house. It is beautiful and clean and has a great yard for evening cooking and talking around the fire. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub which was in good working condition. The house is spacious and decorated with cultural art. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable. The bathrooms were all very nice. The kitchen is user friendly and well-stocked. We loved having the adjoining apartment. Great place!

Annual Family Vacation

This was a great house for our group of eight adults (two families with college-age kids). The location is ideal--secluded but less than 10 minutes from the downtown area of Santa Fe, tons of hiking nearby and reasonable drive for day trips to Taos, Bandelier, and Los Alamos. As an FYI, note the house has lots of fans but no air conditioning. At 7,000+ feet of elevation that would not normally be a problem but the week we were there afternoon highs were in the low 90's. Nights better but it did take some time for the house to cool down. Overall though a great home base for our group. If you haven't been, go to NM. It truly is beautiful.

Santa Fe had one of the warmest summers on record. We have never had more requests for air conditioning than this year. We will be adding portable air conditioners for each room in the house for next summer. We apologize for any inconvenience and want you to know this will be reconciled. Host did not send check in instructions/access code for rental until the day AFTER check in. Customer service called host multiple times on two numbers and no response. Thankfully VRBOs guarantee came through and remedied the situation. On another note the home was large and accommodating except for the no AC and limited fans provided in August heat. This is written in the description but think before booking during summer months. Host accused us damaging hot tub and withheld their promised refund for not providing check in info. Again thank you to VRBO for the refund and making it right when the host would not.

Big House, No A/C, No Problem (for us)

I recently travelled to this house with a group of 8 men for a golf trip. We thoroughly enjoyed Santa Fe, the golf courses and the weather. The house was great...no complaints. We had plenty of room for everyone although 4 of the men had to sleep in twin beds while the other 4 had huge suites. No of them complained but I will say the bedrooms are set up more for families and less for individual people. We came there knowing this and the pictures are accurate. So, again, the place was exactly what we expected. Do NOT stay here if the temperature is over 90 degrees during the day. The house doesn't have air conditioning. When the sun goes down, you will need to open up all the doors and windows and run every fan you can find in order to cool the house. Luckily, we had great weather while we were there so cooling the house after sunset wasn't a problem. Again, the property is great and the owner communicated very well.
