From the moment you step inside the beachfront home, you are transported to a comfortable, relaxing vacation away from everyday life. The home features a gourmet kitchen, a living room with non-stop views, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Soak away your troubles in the hot tub or step outside the door and experience an Oregon Coast Vacation sunset that will take your breath away. Make sure you bring your favorite family member (your dog) along with you. The owner has made his home dog-friendly. Surrender yourself to relaxation today and make your reservation at Ocean's Edge.

This is a dog-friendly property, with a non-refundable pet fee (plus tax) per pet (limit 2), per stay. Dogs Only. Please do not leave dogs unattended at any time in or on the property.

Great ocean front view, dirty/unkept house

House was unkept and dirty. Pee stains all over carpet, hair in sheets, stains on pillows and vomit covered pillows in trash. Beds are not comfortable. This place is expensive and a huge let down. Would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful ocean view

We really enjoyed the home, the view from the cliff and the hot tub. The things that would make this place worth what we paid is to get the windows fixed because it really messes up the view and the wicker furniture is horrible to set on. We had a great stay all and all.

Great location, needs better maintenance

House is great and management responded quickly, but the place had a cans and bottles around the perimeter of the house, blood stain on our sheets, clogged pipes (poor plungers), and what appeared to be mold growing in the showers on caulking where grout should be. Management was quick to respond if we wanted them to come take care of the things, but nobody really wants unknown people over fixing things when you're supposed to be relaxed and staying

Week at the beach.

The reservation process was easy and office staff was available and helpful with questions. Property was great. Minor requests would be having steps to get into the hot tub (had to use the folding chair), a toaster and hair dryer (unless we just missed them). Wasn’t too happy about it not being ready at 4. 🤷‍♀️ Overall, it was a great experience.

Amazing views, great house!

Wonderful house, excellent stay! Only a couple of things would have made it better. The WiFi was terrible, and cell service was spotty. Working from the house or streaming movies not possible. More chairs outside would be nice to take in the views with the entire family. The puzzle is missing 6 pieces 😜

The house could have been a little cleaner, a couple windows really need to be replaced, looks like the new ones are in the garage. Fridge was not working but they brought us a mini so food did not spoil. Wish more windows opened to have air movement and hear the ocean better.

As expected!

The house was just as expected. What you see is what you get. The other reviews about the windows are true, but it didn’t heavily impact my opinion. There are cute details all over the house and you’re supplied with everything needed to be comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here with small children since the cliffside has no barrier. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Customer service and the check-in, check- out process was perfect.

Perfect Peaceful Retreat!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ocean's Edge was a perfect place for my family to stay. My teenage sons had fun fishing on the beach while we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine in the backyard. There is beach access down the street but there are over a hundred steps down a steep staircase.If you have young kids or have bad knees, this location may not be for you. The view was worth not having direct access to the beach!

Beautiful location

Nice sized house, great view. The house was clean and comfortable. The communication with the property management was subpar. The wifi was horrible and we received no help from the manager. The cell service isn't good either, which of course isn't their fault. Having good wifi helps with planning and directions, looking up restaurants, buying tickets, etc. They also have basically no flexibility in checkout times. Just something to note.

Amazing view with spacious floor plan

The view was incredible and the listing was absolutely accurate. There were plenty of linens and extra bedding. The kitchen was well stocked but could have used a few more skillets and pans, but that’s just me liking to start the day with cooking breakfast. I loved that there is both a coffee pot and k cup brewer as well as a kettle. Overall, we will book again if we travel this way without our pup. She didn’t enjoy being leashed every time she had to go out, but with all her beach walks and the cute neighborhood we made due and she was a happy pup each night. My adult kids were staying down the road and made use of the hot tub which they seemed to enjoy.

Potential to be amazing

My family & I stayed at this property this past weekend & the house was not clean. The house had dust/cobwebs all over, the hardwood floor was dirty, the carpet was stained, the bench seating by the window is covered in stains, the upstairs bedroom had dirty pillows (blood/drool stained), the master bedroom had a duvet cover insert but no duvet cover & the sheets had hair on them. Two of the windows looking out to the ocean need to be replaced, as this obstructs the view. The house itself would’ve been perfect, had it been properly cleaned.

So close to perfect

This is a really lovely, clean home that we would return to again. So close to being perfect, except for a couple minor flaws. Two of the main viewing windows have had leakage and are obscured by a film and condensate that blocks the amazing view of the ocean. Main sofas were not very comfortable, and the dining table and chairs are pretty old and rickety. All of us found the mattresses to be too soft and unsupported. There were no instructions for the TV/DVD system, so we weren't able to watch the movies we brought with us.

I expected better

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: At the price of this ocean front rental, I was expecting a top notch house. It is not. One of main view windows has a broken seal and is not only unsightly, you cannot see the view. There is a firepit, but there were only 2 cheap plastic chairs, and one of them was broken. There are very few lamps, so we had to borrow from one bedroom to accommodate another. The livingroom furniture is all form and no function--too uncomfortable to even use. There are virtually no horizontal surfaces to put your suitcases on, so they had to be left open on the floors. And the grounds are not maintained--very weedy and overgrown. Someone has given up on this property, yet still charges top dollar. BTW, if you have children you need to know that this is high bluff with no safety barriers of any kind.

Cute well-layed out bungalow

First the thing I loved about the place: Location of the property; clean, well-appointed; loved the "loft" bedroom; loved the full beach view; loved that it is dog-friendly; loved the overall feel of the place; lots of seating; easy to cook and clean up; loved the kitchen island; loved there were lots of supplies like toilet paper, soap and shampoo; loved the hot tub; refrigerator had water and ice! The view from the backyard was AMAZING and the sunsets were spectacular. Now for the things I did not like: carpet in the front entry was badly stained and did not give the greatest first impression; there was no AC and no fans to move the air - the weekend I spent there was in the 80s and the house became a sweat box. About 95% of the windows did not open so there was no way to even get a crossdraft (we had brought our dogs so could not open the front door). I also did not like the intermittent wifi - I was supposed to do some online work and could not; wifi box was way up on top of a kitchen cabinet which was not accessible to me so I had to call someone to come reset it. I did not like the fact the place was "dog-friendly" and yet was on a cliff with no fence.The toilet seat in the main bathroom was broken; there were no directions on hot to turn down the heat on the hot tub and it was set at 109 degrees. Overall my guests and I enjoyed our stay but I am not sure I would stay there again unless it was during the winter months.

Great location, needs some upkeep, hard to communicate with the host.

With the first steps into the home, it's clear it is in need of some upkeep. The entry way smells of old carpet and pet urine and the stains are there to prove it. Additionally, several of the large picture windows in the kitchen, sitting area, and bedroom were in need of replacing due to the mold growth in between the double panes. For a house with such a great location, the view in each of those rooms was tainted by those unappealing and distracting windows. In the kitchen area, the bench seat featured dated and stained cushions that in the least could have used a cover and the window was clearly not wiped recently as there was plenty of clearly visible black dog hair. That being said, the bedroom we stayed in and the bathrooms were pleasantly clean and tidy. During our stay, their was an issue with the refrigerator as it was incessantly beeping. While trying to find the source of the beep, I found a smoke detector that was not functioning properly and had a flashing red light. I tried to contact the host with four unanswered messages over two days to resolve these issues, but they refused to respond despite the obvious danger of ignoring a broken smoke detector. The constant beeping made it unpleasant to spend time in the kitchen or sitting room and ruined the peaceful crashing of the nearby waves. Overall, I give it 2 stars because of it's great location and clean bathrooms, but realistically the "communication" deserved 0 stars and the home could use upkeep.

We have since had the carpets cleaned and resolved the issue with the smoke detector and fridge. The windows unfortunately are not scheduled to be replaced, however they are correctly photographed in the listing.

Lovely getaway for a family gathering…

Our family of six plus a 2 year old enjoyed a 4 night stay at Ocean's Edge meeting up in Lincoln City with my sister and her large extended family. The house worked perfectly for us in nearly every respect - spacious, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, nice backyard with a firepit that we used once and a hot tub that we used every day. All good. We have three suggestions/concerns: 1. The backyard ends in a cliff with the only "barriers" being three small cautions signs. Not safe for young children, tipsy adults, or selfie takers. We put up a 3-foot wire garden fence across the back purchased at Ace Hardware. Not a real barrier, but a good reminder not to venture further to the edge without obstructing the view. 2. The living room carpet right at the entrance has multiple ugly stains. Not a good first impression. Recommend thorough carpet cleaning or replacement. This was reason for lower cleanliness rating - everything else was clean. 3. Several ocean-facing windows have broken seals and therefore very cloudy appearance. One of our guests is a professional window insulation guy who said he could replace those windows in about 10 minutes (he only does big commercial jobs). This has been noted in past reviews. We would highly recommend investing in window replacements - it would add a great deal to the attractiveness of the property and to the view. Don't get me wrong - we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Couch and window seat covers were stained it just seemed like they just threw some dollar tree utensils and cookware together and called it good. It served its purpose but overall very expensive for what little there was toilet paper, garbage bags etc

Great place, third time staying.

We have had a couple bumps with check in once, and the hot tub not working this most recent time. Communication with the company was great first bit came to a standstill. Either way, we were refunded a small amount of money for the hot tub.
