Kona Magic Sands#213 is a DIRECT oceanfront, 2nd floor condo that is meticulously maintained, beautifully furnished, and has absolutely anything any guest could dream of. Wifi, beach gear, linens, dishes you name it, the condo has it!

This 2nd floor condo has such a beautiful view! Wake up to the ocean, hear the waves. Great whale watching during the winter months!
Immediately upon walking in, you'll notice a well appointed mini kitchen that has a stove, sink, fridge and fully stocked with dishes. The bathroom has a walk in shower for you.

In the living area, there's a sitting area if you want to get some R&R watching TV. There's a small dining area as well by the Queen Sized Bed. This is an incredible option for 1 or 2 people looking to be direct beach front.

Kona Magic Sands is the only beachfront condominium complex in Kona. Enjoy an oceanfront pool there as well! There's a restaurant on site called Magics Grill as well!
Laundry use is available in the complex, which is a shared common area.

Great stay!

We have stayed at this property in the past. You can not beat the location. We washed whales from our couch! This apt was the nicest one we have stayed in! It’s light and bright. Clean, comfortable. We will be back!

Great value for the money

Basic accommodations (therefore affordable) with superb view to the ocean, very close to the beach. All one might need for the beach. All one might need for cooking. The property management is very helpful and ready to assist in all matters. I highly recommend it.

Condo was small but for just the two of us it was fine. This condo is a ocean front property with large sliding glass doors and screen doors to keep open all night for your wave listening pleasure. The ocean views/sunsets did not disappoint. Full kitchen accessories with well stocked kitchenware, coffeemaker, toaster, and mixer. Bathroom was adequate but nothing over the top. Could use some updating but all in all it’s a decent place to hang for the week. Condo came with beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a cooler which was perfect for our beach hopping. We left a beach umbrella for future guests. There is a swimming pool and a small beach next to the condo. There is also a decent restaurant and cafe as well. No issues and we would return for a second go around. Good location being just a bit south of old town Kailua, Kona.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has probably the best view of any place we've stayed in. It was awesome to see spinner dolphins jumping and yellow tangs coming in on the surf in the morning--and right underneath us! Sunsets were magnificent and there was no need for us to go out to a view place for drinks. We bought ingredients for our drinks and enjoyed the view from our room. On the other hand, the condo could use some major updates. First, the bed (a small one for two people) sits on what used to be the balcony and the floor tips, thus making the bed tilt to the right side. One of us used the hide-a-bed, which felt, well, like a hide-a-bed with about 30 years of wear. Second, there is no air conditioning. We were there in February, and even then it was warm and stuffy without the windows open. There are louvered windows above the door and in the bathroom to let in air. Unfortunately, they also let in noise (even when closed). And noise there was! The condo fronts on a main 2-lane street and seems to be a thoroughfare for trucks and "hot cars" with no mufflers. Many are headed to next-door Magic Sands Beach, which is popular with surfers, b. boarders and people who want to loudly socialize day and night. In the early morning the landscape people start their blowers (right after 7 am). There is a restaurant with decent food and a beach bar next-door as well. Note there are three stories and no elevators. Recommended, but only for the view!

Ocean at your front door!

We had a great stay! The listing was very accurate and check-in was simple. The location is fantastic — being able to listen to the ocean at night and having direct ocean access was a real highlight. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and we had no issues with bugs or outside noise. Parking was easy and convenient. The only small improvement would be cleanliness in the kitchen and main living area, which could have been a bit more thorough. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in the Kona area!

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean condo with every amenity we could possibly need. Beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, snorkel equipment. Excellent location in between 2 beaches within walking distance. There is also a restaurant/bar attached to the condo building with great food and a local favorite to watch the sunset. We enjoyed watching the sunset from our condo view. Amazing! We saw whales and dolphins from our window also! Would highly recommend this place! Aloha!

Having the ocean right smack infront of the condo was amazing! Did not spend any time in the area of the condo as we toured all over the island. Was centerally located for all directions. Great to wake up to the ocean and fall asleep with the sound of the waves!

It appears that the road in front of the apartment building is a thorough fair. We did not know that the traffic never stopped. Neither did the noise in addition to that across the street or parking lots evidently for the restaurant and for people using the beach I’m not sure which, it appears that base music in cars is still popular in Hawaii and they are there all day every day I had to walk across the street to beg them to please turn the base on the radios down. We would never have rented there if we would have known, there was a party lot across the street. I think it’s unfair. You don’t tell people people about it.

The Unit was clean except for the stained carpet, it definitely needs some TLC!!! It needs new linen’s, towels and the medicine cabinet needs to be replaced.The location is wonderful, having Magic Sands Beach and the restaurant next door was very nice. We especially enjoyed the amazing view and the sound of the waves crashing right in front of our Unit.
