Das Hotel liegt im schönen The Sea Village Condo-Komplex (Einheit 3217). Wir besitzen auch die 2-Zimmer-Wohnung (Einheit 3216), die direkt neben (VRBO # 337314) ist. Diese 1-Zimmer-Wohnung mit Blick auf den Pazifischen Ozean mit atemberaubender Aussicht und unglaublichen Sonnenuntergängen aus dem Komfort Ihrer eigenen Veranda. Ein perfekter Ort, um sich zurückzulehnen, zu entspannen und jede Minute Ihres Urlaubs zu genießen.

Die Wohnung ist absolut wunderschön. Auf jedes Detail wurde Wert gelegt. Die Wohnung ist sehr hell, mit einer schönen Brise, die vom Meer hereinströmt. Es ist tadellos gepflegt und sehr sauber. Die Wohnung verfügt über 1 Schlafzimmer und 1 Badezimmer. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein Queen-Size-Bett mit einer brandneuen Matratze. Darüber hinaus verfügt das Wohnzimmer über zwei brandneue Sofas, eines davon mit einem brandneuen Queensize-Bett, auf dem bis zu 4 Personen bequem schlafen können.

Von der Wohnung aus können Sie Delfine spielen, Wale wandern und Fische springen sehen. Für diejenigen, die mehr Abenteuer suchen ... können Sie direkt von den Felsen aus, von der Veranda aus gesehen, schwimmen und schnorcheln.

Die Wohnung Gründe werden sorgfältig gepflegt. Der Pool und der Whirlpool befinden sich hinter einer Ufermauer, nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt. Die Grills und Picknicktische sind perfekt positioniert, um die atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergänge zu genießen, während Sie Ihre Mahlzeiten zubereiten.

Die Wohnung ist günstig gelegen. Nur wenige Minuten von der Stadt Kona entfernt, 13 km südlich des Flughafens und in der Nähe vieler atemberaubender Strände und Golfplätze

For context, this is my 5th condo stay in the magical state of Hawaii (Maui, Kauai and Hawaii). The idea was initially foreign to me, as I thoroughly enjoyed hotels and resorts through the first 3 decades of vacationing in my adult life. Alas, hotels are cost prohibitive in Hawaii, a fact that was a rude awakening when planning my first trip to Maui years ago. Where dollars and cents are concerned however, adaptation is the rule, so Vrbo it is, and gladly!Now then, it is on or about day 3 when condo life in Hawaii starts to feel like home as your vacation routine takes shape. Here, the hosts have done a fantastic job with the space. It is neither gaudy nor dated. It is an open floor concept with clean, sharp lines and feels like modern day Hawaii should.With all that being said however, the interior of the unit is but the opening act, the view and sounds of the ocean on the balcony is 100% the main attraction. Yes, this is where time stands still, so bring your tired, broken down soul and get recharged near a sea of tranquility, literally. It is serene, it is surreal. It is the epitome of what a Hawaiian vacation should be; paradisal. This unit is a true gem, and if you've read this far, you can end the dizzying search of where to stay on the Big Island and enter your dates and lock this bad boy up right now. Aloha

Perfect for Two

This was a perfect home base for my husband and me as we explored the island. Watching the sunset each night and the canoe/boating activities each morning from the lanai was such a pleasure. It was so great to be right on the ocean! I appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and dish ware. It was also generously stocked with beach towels and beach chairs, cooler box, etc for our days visiting the nearby beaches. generously

Love this place

Had a humpback whale show right from our deck at least 4 of the 10 days we stayed at the place. Amazing views, sunsets and the sound of the waves crashing against the breakwater. Beautiful place. No air conditioning. No worries. Don’t need it. The cool ocean breeze kept the place just right. This condo is exactly as described in the VRBO site and lacks nothing. Thanks Cullen.

Incredible View

The living room and balcony face directly at the ocean. The sound of waves crashing against the rock is great to fall asleep to. Very clean and well kept. If you want a sandy beach you'll have to travel a little. But if you want an incredible ocean view on a beautiful and interesting island, this is the place.

Fantastic home away from home

This place was fantastic for our home base while exploring the island. Close enough to downtown and lots of beaches but quiet and cozy! The lanai was amazing to relax on and take in all the ocean vistas. The highlight for my wife and I was watching the dolphins play from the lanai. Great place and would most definitely stay here again.

Mostly good

Very clean and generally in great condition. Nice ocean-front views from lanai. Lack of air conditioning would not have been much of a problem if the roll-up sun screen on the lanai had been intact. The deployment chain was missing, though, so the sun made the lanai and even the living room difficult to use in afternoon hours. Prior reviews mentioned the location of the bedroom was next to the stairwell with the only windows opening onto the stairs. I would not recommend that for honeymooners. Noise from the stairwell was just occasional, but being a second floor unit, active children upstairs during daylight hours was not ideal. The less said about the television provider, the better. We did not go to Hawaii to open new accounts just to see basic tv. The kitchen was great, and parking which is often a problem elsewhere, was more than adequate. The bedroom problem was the result of tradeoffs in the design stage, and likely justified. The sunscreen problem needs immediate correction.

Lovely Location

This condo is lovely! The view is perfect. We could watch the Ironman swimmers come into the turn around and later went out to cheer on the runners by the side of the road. The condo was clean. We had one cleaning issue but we took it up directly with the owner and it was remedied and all is good. The bed was comfortable. The furniture was comfy. The kitchen had all we needed. We cook in a lot. The unit is close to the pool and grills which made it convenient for us because we spent a lot of time in both places. Parking was easy. We had a fabulous 9 days on island and this was the perfect base camp for us.

Water front condo

Fantastic water front condo.Fully stocked with everything needed at a great location in Kona. Originally we were looking for a resort, but found this much better at a lower cost. We were able to explore much of the island in a seven night stay.This location is close to Fair Wind tours, highly recommend swimming with the mantas and morning snorkel .The condo is also close to many great restaurant's. The owner Colleen was very kind to recommended Huggo’s which did not disappoint. We loved sitting out on the lanai ,sunsets were amazing.You can hear the waves crashing and a nice breeze runs through keeping the condo very comfortable. Whitney Renolds and owner Colleen keep the property clean and well maintained. My wife and I had a great stay at this property on our vacation to the big island.

Relax, refresh, renew this is the place to do it

I almost want to not leave a comment and keep this hidden gem secret. What an amazing condo. It was beautifully decorated and cared for. The view from the balcony was just stunning. The sunsets breathtaking. The unit was equipped with everything you would need. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. We would return in a heartbeat. The owner was responsive and very welcoming. Loved it.

The condo was very clean and organized. The kitchen had all of the dishes and silverware along with a dishwasher. The condo also provided beach chairs, cooler, towels, and other items. The lanai was right on the water and provided awesome sunset views every evening. There is a good ocean breeze through the condo, but it does get warm in the late afternoon as there is no air conditioner. The condo does come with 2 portable fans that helps keep the condo cool at night. The complex is a 1 mile walk to Kailua village and .5 miles to Honl's Beach.

Perfect place for our anniversary vacation!

My hubby and I arrived for a 9 night stay to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Communication and check in process with the owners was super easy and the condo was clean and well equipped when we arrived. Our favorite part was the view from the lanai of course and the sea breeze always flowing through the unit. Overall the complex is pretty quiet but the bedroom is on the hallway/stair side, so there can be some noise outside your bedroom, but people seem to respect quiet time for the most part (I think 9-7? But don’t quote me). Overall just grateful to have had a wonderful time and enjoy many beautiful sunsets!

Met our expectations and more! Truly, a home away from home.

Three weeks ago, I decided to book a trip to the BI. This is our fourth trip and usually we go the resort route. I went ahead and checked out VRBO, and somehow this beautiful condo kept coming back over on my search. I read all 91 reviews, was blown away by the exceptional views, openness, CLEAN, colorful decor and location. Everything you see on the profile for this unit is truly accurate. We flew all day from Alaska and found it was easy to find, parking was open, and yes there are stairs, however only second floor. As we opened the door, we knew we were home! Total ocean front and stunning views. Everything was explained and questions were answered with info in the condo and the pre info before arrival. The biggest concern was would I have communication and would I be able to contact anyone. I was exceptionally pleased that this fantastic host was exactly that, prompt, back to us in a timely manner, answers questions, and communication spot on! If you read the fine print you will see there is no AC in this unit. The only concern I had coming from Alaska and well, we melt in the heat. NOT to worry!! This place has open screen lanai with a huge slat window which the breeze flows through to the back of the condo.There fans also. I actually was chilly at times which surprised me. My husband and I were very comfortable and loved the breeze! The no AC was not an issue at all. Actually, we didn't need it! WE LOVED this unit! We hope to come back. Thank you!

Wonderful ocean front

We enjoyed this rental very much. The sea view is stunning. We were able to watch whales every day for the entire week. The unit was clean and equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location is a walkable distance to downtown Kona with plenty of restaurants. There is a convenience store and a vendor market including the best fish tacos half a mile in the other direction. The complex was mostly quiet and peaceful during our stay, which seemed to be mostly retirees with some families with very young children. The pool was lovely as are the gardens surrounding the buildings. Pool is not recommended for older children as it is small and does not permit toys or floating contraptions. The host was also quite helpful and responsive to questions. We would stay here again!

Gorgeous ocean view!!

This property was exactly like the pictures posted on VRBO. It was super clean, the kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked and the view of the ocean from the lanai was stunning! The parking was very convenient and it was a very short drive to multiple sites in Kona. We really appreciated having an in house washer/dryer and the condo was very well stocked with towels, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. we highly recommend this property!!

A fantastic view!

The view was great. We were able to see dolphins our first morning but then weren't able to see them any other day. It wasn't very hot for the entire trip. There was always a nice breeze through the house. It's semi walkable to downtown Kona, and pretty central towards the south part of the island as well. During our stay there were some very energetic upstairs neighbors, but it's a condo / apartment so sometimes it happens. They also had a lot of beach gear. We used the hat, some of their provided beach towels, and an iron man bag. Overall a fantastic place to stay!

Perfect 2nd Honeymoon

We rented the condo for a 2nd honeymoon after 27 years of marriage. The condo was exactly as it was advertised. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks was the perfect soundtrack to our vacation. The sunsets were breathtaking. The unit is centrally located and walking distance (about a mile away) great dining options. The host was responsive to all of my texts. I highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation on the Big Island.

We have returned 16 times since (12 times to participate in the ironman), and finally had the opportunity to purchase our dream condo in 2010 (that was the two bedroom unit right beside this unit #3216, which we still own). Then our family grew. More grandchildren. I loved the complex so much that I bought the 1 bedroom right beside (this unit #3217). It has been completely renovated as well. Both our condos are very special, as A/C is not needed. Our unique positioning allows for direct breeze off the ocean. A natural A/C all the time (and no need to close any windows). Kona, The Sea Village, and our two units are so special. There is not a more beautiful spot!
