Sooke Oceanview Cabin Farmstay,Wilderness Retreat, Pet Friendly

Relax and enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by natureand an ocean view. Wake each morning to the sound of the rooster or perhaps the bark of sea lions, the bleeting of sheep and llamas located right near this totally private cabin. This rustic cabin borders a wild forest and creek to the east, faces south rambling fields to the ocean, and east looks over fields to our sheep. Behind is our berry pasture. The cosy woodstove is wonderful on cool nights, the private deck, yard, and separate dog run are a warm retreat on windy days or a wonderful stage to stargaze at the Milky Way. No light pollution here. The charming loft bedroom looks out over the treetops at the sunrise. Don't be surprised to hear owls, birds, frogs, and all the nature sounds around you.

The space
This private cabin is located 50 meters away from Main House. It has a private, fenced yard looking across the field south to the ocean. Our 12 acre farm is across the street from Gordon’s Beach. A short stroll to beach access, 10 kms to Sooke, on your way to rugged west coast beaches. There is a loft bedroom, small kitchen, and bathroom with shower. Small, cost, and surrounded by nature.

Guest access
Your private cabin has a private front yard and fenced field for dogs if needed. You are welcome to walk around but please close all gates behind you. Please enjoy sheep, goats, and chicken from the driveway and don’t enter their pastures. The front of the house and garden is for suite guests so please respect privacy. You can wonder to bottom of the driveway and walk east one block to beach access.

Other things to note
Dog Policy
Dogs must be with owner and not left in cabin or yard unattended. Please keep dogs on leash when walking property outside of cabin yard and dog run fenced area beside cabin front yard. There will be a dog welcome package including a dog towel, dog blanket-please used to cover couch, dog bowl. A bucket and shovel are just inside the gate to the dog run. Please scoop and deposit dog waste in bucket. Please no dogs in sleeping loft. It is not safe for them.

Dog friendly cafes include Shirley Delicious outdoor seating, Cafe V0S 1N0, Serious Coffee. There are two pet stores in Sooke village. There are three veterinarians in Sooke.
