Fully equipped apartment
This is a private apartment with a private entrance etc. You will have the entire apartment to yourself and your (guest(s). The suite offers an ideal space for 2 people with a queen size bed Quiet neighborhood.
1 bedroom vacation rental. living room has 42 inch flat screen TV, Telus Optik TV, wi-fi, sofa, love seat and a chaise. The guest suite is located in the lower level of our house.

Bedroom: queen memory foam bed. dresser, night table. Suite sleeps two people sharing.

Kitchen: coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave, stove, full size fridge with freezer compartment, pots & pans, skillet, rice cooker, blender, glasses, cups, plates, cutlery, chopping board, right down to the salt and pepper shakers.

Bathroom: The bathtub is fitted with a shower. blow dryer, towels.

Shopping: It is a 10 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to downtown Victoria. 10 to 12 minute walk or 2 minute drive to shopping, coffee shops, banks, restaurants, thrift stores, grocery stores, gym, rec center, museum, kayaking, parks, and . . we are home to the famous "Sooke Harbor House." 8 minute drive to Whiffin Spit and a 15 minute drive to the Sooke potholes.

Marine Boardwalk and Pier
We are 5 mins from Ed McGregor Park, follow the winding wooden boardwalk through oceanside rainforest to Sooke’s spectacular 300-metre pier. Watch locals fishing for crabs, spy harbor seals and breathe in views of the Sooke Basin and Olympic Mountains

This suite is also suitable for long term rental as it comes fully equipped.

This suite is located conviently close to downtown Sooke and the hosts went over and above in stocking this unit with whatever might be needed to enjoy your stay. We loved it!

Home Away from Home

The suite was conveniently located close to the town centre. It was nice and bright, with a great kitchen. The only thing I missed was a dishwasher. Besides that, a lovely place to stay!

Sharon thought of every detail to make it home away from home... there are a lot of spices for cooking, pots, pans, utensils. Cling wrap, aluminum foil. Coffee, tea, snacks, frozen ice cubes, soft drinks. Everything was super clean. Bed was so very comfortable. Lots of room to move around the suite. Communication was easy, information provided was spot on. Neighbourhood was great... close to everything, and it's a nice neighbourhood.

This was a lovely suite in a nice residential area. Easy access to the suite from outside and ample parking in the driveway. The suite was well appointed with coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, stove, dishes, cutlery and cooking pots, pans, etc. It was very quiet and so comfy. We stayed for 6 nights and it was a lovely getaway. Pictures are exactly what the place looked like. We were not disappointed.

A lovely stay!

This is a lovely property. Communication with Sharon was easy and immediate, not that we needed anything. We appreciated the attention to small details—soaps and shampoos, water in the fridge, snacks, etc. There was coffee and tea, spices and a well appointed kitchen. The property was very comfortable for two. I think it would work for a small family as well with the pullout couch. You will need a car as it is a bit of a hike everywhere in Sooke. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved everything about our stay! Location was great, we were able to walk to a few of the cafes in town. Sharon was a wonderful host and thought of every little thing we may need during our stay and made sure it was provided for us.

Well stocked pantry

Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find a basket of snack, beverages in the fridge, container of cream, sugar and plenty of teas and coffees. It was a great treat after a long day of travel. A spacious main floor apartment, excellent bed and all you need.

Ron and Wendy were excellent guests, it was a pleasure to host them. We didn’t have any problems or questions about the check in and out process. They were also very clean respectful! Friendly and easy to talk to. The suite was left in immaculate condition, we would host them again in a heartbeat We would highly recommend these guests to future hosts.

Sharon and Manies always make us feel welcome! Relax and rejuvenate!.

Perfect home away from home with a full kitchen for those who like to cook (we do!) and lovely living room and very comfy bed. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood close to parks and bike trails, beaches and adventures in Sooke. Sharon and Manies always greet us and then give us our privacy but we know they are there if we need anything to make our visit perfect. Thank you!

Super Host

All boxes checked off. Host greeted and checked in with us to be sure we were okay and had everything we needed. Accommodations were super clean “to the corners”. The unit was organized and supplied with all the essentials and more. Great stay, great location, Sharon is a great host and would definitely recommend.

Dan and Marlene were AMAZING guests. We enjoyed hosting them very much. They were very easy to talk to, friendly and very appreciative of the unit. To say they left the unit clean is an understatement, they left it absolutely sparkly spotless, meticulously clean. We have no hesitation in recommending them to any host. Perfect island getaway

We really needed a break and headed to the island and Sharon's place was perfect! Her caring and kindness from saying hello at check-in (and also giving us our privacy) to the little extras (fruit plate and beverages waiting in the fridge), spa extras in the bathroom and very comfortable bedroom set-up. Thanks for the restorative break at your's, Sharon.

Lawrence and Jill were amazing guests. We enjoyed hosting them very much. They were very easy to talk to and came across as very kind people. Followed the house rules, very quite and left our place absolutely spotless. We have no hesitation in recommending them to any host. You would love hosting them. Definite 5 Star guests!
