Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the studio.

Step outside your door into the unhurried rhythms of Algiers Point - one of New Orleans' most storied neighborhoods, where gas lamps flicker along tree-lined streets and the Mississippi rolls just a few blocks away. This ground-floor loft blends the warmth of historic New Orleans character with a thoughtfully outfitted interior, giving you a personal base that feels like it belongs here.
 
Living space
Natural light pours into the open layout, connecting the living, dining, and sleeping areas into one cohesive, easy-to-move-through space. The living area centers around a 65" HDTV loaded with HBO Max, Apple TV, Chromecast, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. A record player with a curated vinyl crate and a selection of books round out the entertainment - ideal for slow evenings when the city can wait. Fast WiFi and a dedicated workspace in a common area with a desk and table keep you connected if you need to work remotely.
 
Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom features a king bed dressed in cotton linens, with room-darkening shades, extra pillows, and blankets to help you sleep in after a late night in the Quarter. Hangers and clothing storage are provided so you can settle in properly, whether you're staying a few nights or a few weeks.
 
Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is stocked for real cooking - a Whirlpool electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, and a baking sheet are all at your disposal. Coffee is included to get your mornings started. Pull up a chair at the dining table and eat in, or head out to the neighborhood's cafés and tacos spots just steps from the door.
 
Bathroom & essentials
The private bathroom offers a stand-up shower with hot water, and is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, fresh towels, and cleaning products. A hair dryer and iron are also available, along with all the essentials - bed sheets, soap, and toilet paper.
 
Location
Algiers Point sits just across the river from the French Quarter, connected by a short walk to the $2 ferry. From there, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street jazz clubs, and the energy of the French Quarter are minutes away. Back on this side, you're within strolling distance of Barracuda tacos, riverside cafés, and scenic Mississippi River views. Free parking is available both on the premises and on the street.
 
Good to know
The loft is single level with a private entrance and self check-in via smart lock for a seamless arrival. Central air conditioning, central heating, and a ceiling fan keep the space comfortable year-round. Pets are welcome. Luggage drop-off is available for guests with early arrivals or late departures, and long-term stays of 28 days or more are accommodated. Home safety features include exterior security cameras at the entry door, a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit.
 
Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.
